Great service and food was fantastic! And I was raised on authentic Italian home cooking!
I was pleasantly surprised and will go back again.
Great food ,reasonable prices and outstanding staff !
Always great service and food.
We have enjoyed La Strada many times over the years. This time I ordered the Sea Scallops with rice.
I needs to be renamed Rice with sea scallops as only 3 scallops were placed on top of a large serving
of rice. For $32, this was a very poor value entree. Other than that problem, all the other food we
ordered lived up to their very good reputation.
Great ambience. The lamb was great and perfectly cooked. I ordered the veal saltimbocca and that was not as good. The prosciutto was rubbery and the veal was drowned in sauce, but the veal was tender. The plate lacked the finesse expected from La Strada.
Everything was fantastic. A very enjoyable Valentines evening with my wif
Valentines Day. Perfect as always!
Melissa and Hannah took excellent care of us. Their recommendations we spot on, and we had an amazing experience. The food was incredible. It’s was a great Valentines Day.
Best Italian restaurant in town
Our party of 8 was impressed with everything!! All good and we will return!!!
The menu at La Strada is sure to please. With chefs direct from Italy the recipes are authentic and presented very well. We normally love the ambiance and service, too, but the Valentine's Day dinner crowd understandably affected those two areas a bit on our most recent visit. However, we would still not hesitate to recommend La Strada for a relaxed dinner or special occasion :).
Amazing food and awesome service
Very hospitable staff met you , served you? And overall provided superior Service. But we were there primarily for the food which was 100 percent 5 star, Best in not only in Reno but the entire west coast.
For Italian it’s La Strada
I feel if I have a reservation I shouldn't be sat right next to the kitchen where it was very loud and difficult to have a conversation with my wife. I was very disappointed in the table we were sat at.
Another wonderful dinner and service. we were seated in the wine room and that gave us a quieter space to enjoy our 2 1/2 hours . Our server Antonio had been with the Restaurant essentially sense the beginning and was great.
Food and service were great. Dessert sub par.
My wife and I went there to celebrate my birthday. Food was good and our server was excellent.
The manager came by to compliment my wife on her looks, pretty much ignoring me which was fine. He went over and beyond his compliments to my wife to the point she was embarrassed. He also expressed that the male staff thought she was beautiful.
I would suggest the manager use more class and be advised that flattery if presented in the correct way is a compliment, leering with a snide smile is going overboard and lacks class.
He pretty much ruined our dinner.
The food is always delicious.l The sauces are wonderful, the best. You can't go wrong. Oh, the service is outstanding.. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
Our sever Tony gave us an exceptional experience for our 13th anniversary.
I have to disagree with the high ratings I saw for La Strada prior to making reservations. We had to send back the Fettuchini Alfrado with Chicken. The chicken was charred , overcooked and tough. The Alfredo sauce was really bland, no cheese was detected in the flavor.
I ordered the Scallop Risotto and it was fine, but served with just 3 scallops and a huge sea of Risotto. In all, we felt the experience did not live up to our expectations, and the price tag. Cannot recommend it, and won't go again.
Amazing service and food.
While we we’re in Reno, we ate twice at La Strada. Both times the food and experience were excellent! Highly recommend eating there!
Great food and great service. One of the top 4 restaurants in Reno & I’ve been to most of them!
Love it every time we go. Would recommend to everyone.
Wonderful food, staff, ambiance. Kimberly is an outstanding server. Will definitely ask for her section next time.
La Strada is one of the few fine dining options downtown and well worth the experience! As they say and is true you have to have the mushroom ravioli either as an appetizer or main dish!!
Excellent service and the food was five star!!! Our service was impeccable! Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.
I always enjoy dinner at the Strada. My recent dinner was a busy night and that is never the ideal situation for a very special dinner but, my dinning night was excellent.
Hello James, We are delighted to hear that your dining experience was excellent! Your four star rating is a total reward to our staff and chef, we greatly appreciate it. However, we do apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your special dinner. We hope we can provide a more pleasant dining experience for you in the future. Sincerely, La Strada in the Eldorado at THE ROW
Love this restaurant and food. This time had just a couple complaints. A little too dark, and unable to read menu, but know what I like. Both my salad and main course plates had obvious chips in them, just not a good presentation. I know they can do better.
Hello Sara, we do apologize that our china
STAFF AND FOOD IS ALWAYS THE BEST WILL ALWAYS RETURN
It was the worst food I have ever had from Italian restaurant the pasta was soaked in water the food was bad, We had a appetizer it was calamari and it was cold. I don’t think I will go there again.
Good place, good food
What a great place to enjoy an awesome Italian dinner. The staff is great, the ambiance is relaxing, and the food is the best you will find in town. Our server, Chris, is so professional, and easy to talk to, that he made the whole experience memorable.
The food was amazing. I had the Veal Saltimbocca and my companion had the salmon. Both dishes were amazingly cooked and presented. As the restaurant filled up, it was a little noisy, but still a very nice atmosphere.
Hello Debbie, We appreciate your great comments and compliments about our La Strada, as we feel it is one of the finest Italian restaurants in the Reno area. Thank you and we hope you will dine with us again. Our appreciation, La Strada in the Eldorado at THE ROW
This had to be the worst meal we have ever had at La Strada. Down right disappointing. Pan seared scallops entree was served with 3 small scallops with enough risotto to feed an army - for $40.00 this was absolutely outrageous. The beet salad was tasteless and had more carrots in it than beets. The lamb chops were burnt and extremely fatty and sat upon some sort of green mash. The creme brule was like soup. Clearly a blow torch was not used on the dessert to form the hard sugar exterior.
We will not recommend this restaurant or ever dine there again. A huge disappointment.
Where to begin with this most disappointing of all dining experiences. Reservation made months ago for much anticipated event: my husband’s birthday dinner followed by concert. The restaurant mgr/wine expert, Gary, gave our group wonderful recommendations on wine, promising start. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. Antonio, our server, failed completely to provide timely or efficient service to our table. At numerous and various points during our meal we were forced to flag down other servers to help us, it was increasingly frustrating. No mention of a bday was ever made, even though I called the night before and asked them to acknowledge it. I was assured it was noted in my reservation. We asked to see the dessert menu, intent on celebrating the occasion and instead got our check, plopped down on our table in an almost rude manner. Guess we’ll be skipping dessert. Finally, two hours and several hundred dollars later, to add even more insult, it took Antonio THREE times, count it, THREE attempts, to get our check correct. And, we had to return to the restaurant yet again with questions about multiple charges on my friend’s credit card which had alerted him to strange activity. While the food was fine, sadly it was overwhelmed by the inept service. This completely ruined what should have been a wonderful dinner. I will not dine here again. To cap it off, I phoned Gary the next night to talk with him about our experience and they said he was in a staff meeting but would return my call. I was actually hoping he would tell me it was Antonio’s first night, or he was sick, or short-handed, but my phone call was never returned. Wow, way to step up Gary. Big hat, no cattle.
Excellent food! The mussels marinara were perfectly cooked and tender , the homemade mushroom ravioli was superb and the chicken Marsala was solid
I had a couple of associates from out of town. We had a great experience. The staff was fantastic. It started with Michael the Maitre’d welcoming us and giving us a great table. Antonio provided us with wonderful service. And Massimo came out to the table to greet everyone. We will be back!!
Excellent food - duck rigatoni was excellent as was the garlic bread. My husband enjoyed his seafood linguine and the tiramisu. Only negative restaurant closed at 9 it was a Monday in January but we would like key to have relaxed more and stayed longer. Music was wonderful.
Great ambiance and service. Really enjoyed the mushroom ravioli!
