The staff is so friendly and we all (4) got good recommendations about food and wine. The space is comfortable, cozy and cool. We'll be back. Pasta, pork shoulder, desserts were enjoyed by all. Nice job La Storia!

My wife and I live two blocks away. We visit Storia three or four times a year and always enjoyed the service, and the quality of food gets better and better….. Tonight was great food , amazing service and we commented reasonably priced.

The wait staff was attentive but not overly intrusive. The menu had many choices and I do think the Ahi Tuna appetizer was my favorite ever. My husband had the branding and he said it was delicious.

I like the restaurant during the week when it is less crowded. My first Saturday night there proved defeating. Plus, my entree was cold which makes me think the kitchen couldn't handle the full house.

Celebrating a birthday, but no one noticed. We loved the look of the place, but we're disappointed in the very dimly lit area we were seated in. Young waitress seemed new to the job, but was courteous. More importantly, our meal was really good w/ meatballs in a delicious red sauce, a good beet salad, and branzino with a delicious capanata medley. We'll wait to return in warmer weather to eat in the beautiful outdoor area.

Super disappointed - party of 6, restaurant is dead and they seated us next to the bathroom so whenever somebody used we got a “waft” of bathroom perfume, not appetizing when we could see multiple tables free. Service was spotty, had to wait - they are short staffed which I totally understand … but the service or lack there of was not worth price point restaurant was not full … the restaurant is beautiful inside … hope they can pull it together.

Really a perfect, old-school Italian dining experience. The red snapper was crisped to perfection, with the flesh still moist. Each Plate was beautifully presented. Ivo was totally attentive but never obtrusive. Recommended the perfect wine for dinner. If you want quiet, ask to sit upstairs. Next time I am in Chicago, I will surely return

The wait staff was very friendly and helpful and the ambience is good. Unfortunately the food just isn’t great. My mushroom risotto was much too salty and my friend’s gnocchi was good but the pesto sauce was extremely basil focused which we thought was not a great flavor.

Overall wonderful experience, wonderful friendly service, beautiful ambiance, delicious food. We went early to have a cocktail at the bar, ate in their beautiful patio, finished with a lovely aperitif at the bar. Danny and Chrystal and the entire staff felt like good friends by the end of the night. We will be back!

The back patio is amazing and was so nice-the lights and ambiance were amazing, but the service left so much to be desired that we ended up leaving earlier than we planned. Food was good but didn’t try as much as we’d planned due the lack of service.
