Shouldn’t be closing, its a great place. I love everything that I order.
So sad to see La Sirena Clandestina leave Chicago's restaurant scene. Wonderful service just adds to the amazing dishes they serve.
The best spot in west loop. Now closed
It's so sad to see this place close, one of my favorites in the city.
Great service and food terrific!
Sad they are closing
This is a favorite here in Chicago. Always the best service and ambiance. I am so upset that it is closing. This is a very special little restaurant that cannot be replaced. Such a loss to Chicago.
Going to miss this place after they close this month!
Simply amazing meal and stellar service.
Delicious Brazilian and Brazilian-influenced food in a great location. Some gluten-free options and they knew what to look for. Wish this place wasn't closing soon. Also wish they had a gluten-free, dairy-free dessert.
Love everything about this place. The food, the service, it’s all amazing & will be missed when it closes.
This place was great in all aspects. So sad it’s closing!
I'm so sad this place is closing soon. The food is just so darn good! The Brazilian fried chicken is heavenly. Had the pork milanaise and garlic frites today which so delicious! We'll be back at least another time or two before closing.
La Sirena is consistently outstanding - from the food, cocktails and staff, they' don't miss a beat!
This restaurant remains unique as has delivered a consistent experience with creative takes on its menu longer than almost all others in the area. Do not let its size or space deceive you. You are guaranteed a great experience across the board!
Nailed it... on all aspects... that’s all..
you better get some while you still can!!!...
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Am devastated that it took me so long to find them and that they are closing on January 1. It seems all the independent gems of the West Loop are getting pushed out. I hope they find a new location to set up shop.
Delicious!
Really sad to see this place close. Some of the best Brazilian food I have ever had. Fresh, flavorful, and innovative. It was always a fun night there.
Loved the experience, sad to lose this place at the end of the year.
very chill spot. great food, lively atmosphere, but not too loud. you can definitely hear yourself speak.
So sad this place is closing—what an indictment of the more generic restaurant scene around it. The West Loop/Fulton Market área continues to get less and less interesting, and the loss of La Sirena to high rents is a shame.
La Sirena Clandestina had excellent Brazilian food in a lovely, cozy but airy atmosphere. The restaurant is beautiful, with high ceilings and plants hung all around. It feels very warm and inviting. Our server was particularly friendly - he struck exactly the right balance between providing advice and leaving us to our own devices. The food was delicious - the vegetarian "La Bomba" rice was outstanding and the kale salad was really delicious as well. The caipirinha was one of the best I've had!
The food was so good and the staff was very friendly and attentive!
The food is excellent! The happy hour deal is great. Overall, pricing seems great. I highly recommend checking this place out.
The drinks were good. The food was good. The service was amazing. I’ll miss this little gem.
Great food interesting cocktails a bit loud
We had friends in from out of town and we all had a fantastic evening! Great food, great service. We will definitely be back!
We went to La Sirena Clandestina the day after our wedding for a special date night and were blown away by how great this place was! We liked the laidback atmosphere, great music and very friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious. We loved the potato empandas and fried chicken the best! We appreciated how the host explained the flavor profiles of their most popular dishes and how they made the evening feel special. They even made us a couple very tasty virgin cocktails, since we had a bit too much the day before and weren't feeling boozy. We can't wait to try the original versions the next time we go- and we will DEFINITELY be back!
We have lived in the city for 35 years and dine out extensively. We try all new restaurants and enjoy diverse and unique dining experiences. The restaurant is very dark and loud. You cannot see the food and miss the beautiful presentation. We had to use our phones to see what was being served. We tried over 6 different dishes. Nothing was special or unique. The worse part was our dessert. We ordered the Brazilian truffles to accompany our expressions. They were tasteless! The three of us took one bite and decided that they were not worth the calories. To our surprise, our server noticed that we had barely touched them and was bon-pluses. She did not ask us what was wrong and included them on the bill. We do not care about paying for bad truffles but, it is an indication of how comfortable they are with their other reviews. We will be just as comfortable in not recommending this restaurant to any of our friends.
Came back to La Sirena only after one week. We tried different items this time and it was still amazing. We tried the moqueca and the pork - both were so delicious! We also got the fried chicken (again) and it was outstanding. The drinks were great as well -the pisco sour is great. I'm certain we will be back.
We absolutely loved this place. Excellent food and even better service. I can’t wait to go back.
This was our second time dining there and it was wonderful (again). The food, service, and ambiance were just what we were hoping for. I recommend this place for a casual night with friends or for a date night.
I love the relaxed feel of this place - The people who work there are fabulous. Very friendly and attentive. I loved the quickness of how they served the food once they took your order. They constantly refilled your water glass without asking. The Brazilian fried chicken, the coconut rice and the squash salad are to die for. I will be back very soon.
Great food. Great service. Ideal for our anniversary dinner together
Awesome food and service is excellent!
New spins on old time favorites. Always great to see what they have new. Arguably the best Pisco Sours and caipirinhas in the city. They are DANGEROUSLY GOOD.
Great spot with great food. Just a little too loud, but good energy.
The food quality and taste were excellent. The service was top notch with a very supportive overall service team. The food and drink from this Brazilian-inspired restaurant created a unique dining experience with friends.
This was our first time at La Sirena and it was great! The oysters , fried chicken and the caipirinha were my favorite things on the menu. Our server was so helpful. My only complaint was that it was loud in there so it was hard to hear my group.
