The whole dining experience was fantastic. The view of the city was breathtaking.
When making the reservations we advised it was for a special occasion, celebrating a 25th Anniversary with 11 Family members. From past visits on special occasions they brought out a cake to celebrate which we waited for but nothing came so kinda disappointed in that.
Otherwise we enjoyed our Brunch.
The food, view and service was fantastic as it has always been. It’s unfortunate though over that past 10 years or so that the ambience or atmosphere has gone down. I remember the days when there was a dress code and it was a little quieter.
I love everything a bout it. We celebrated our 10th year anniversary and my kids and mom are very happy with the food and ambiance and service ofcourse.
It was a very nice restaurant however it was fairly cold so even with my shall i was unpleasently cold
The service was Outstanding and I enjoyed how Kevin our Waiter cooked our steak and dessert right in front of us. He was very friendly as well. Exceptional service!!!!!
Excellent B.C. wine selection, very accommodating for GF and food allergies, although the GF bread offering was just sliced white loaf sandwich bread. Large menu offering, but may be difficult to master each entree. Our entrees (lamb chops and strip loin) weren’t the best cuts of meat, seems that for the price ($40 & $50 respectively) that they would be choice cuts. Buffalo tartare lacked flavour (not sure how, as bison is quite characteristically distinct in flavour) and didn’t seem quite rich enough (maybe no egg?). Decent meal overall, but not great, although the views made up for that!
3.5/5.0 is pretty bang on IMO.
We went for an anniversary dinner. The service was excellent. We had the chateaubriand and it was very good.
The packaged Romance meal was very nice and fit in well for our 36th wedding anniversary. Service was very attentive.
Wasn’t busy and had to wait to long for refills on drinks and only after we had to ask for refills
Prime rib wasn’t that great
Won’t be back
It was a perfect location to celebrate our Canadian Citizenship 🥂. We loved everything we experienced at La Ronde .
A great Canada Day weekend brunch! We’ll be back.
Had another solid brunch here. We love that there’s different options for us all my wife loves the seafood selection and I’m all about the omelette station. This is one of our favorite places for brunch you get unique views, lots of different foods, with the funny challenging of your table moving. We love it and will be back soon
It was nice and quiet. The waiter was loving to explain what's on the menu. The food was delicious though the desert was very sweet and they give you chocolates at the end with very rich dark pudding chocolate in the middle. That wasn't for me but still a beautiful evening.
View was amazing, service was average, nothing special, food was poor considering the price point.
We always take out of town friends to this restaurant to see the city from a different view point.
Service was awesome and everyone loved the concept.
The trio playing that evening was truly unprofessional. As musicians ourselves it was painful to hear the off key singing all evening! If you hire musicians make sure they are professionals!
Great service and exceptional food
The food was amazing -- our server was a little too talkative and was not as attentive to all of the tables that were in his section.
The air conditioning did not seem to be working -- very warm in the restaurant.
it was a fantastic experience .It was my first time to celebrate my birthday here and i enjoyed it.i will recommend to my friends.
This is one of the best restaurants in Edmonton. It is a great place for any special occassion.
We as a family of four were celebrating our oldest son’s graduation from his music degree program! We were having a great time until a large touring group arrived and monopolized our server (Jay)! We waited a long time for our desserts and an even longer time for our bill! We felt ignored! Our server was spread too thin. It put a damper on the rest of the evening. Overall, the experience was fine!
Dining that comes with a breathtaking view & great service. Food had a certain originality & flavor not found elsewhere.
Been living in the city for 30 years & can only afford "La Ronde" every seven years or so.
We enjoyed our experience for Fathers Day. Cocktails where divine, food was delish, View was spectacular. Service was friendly.
Amazing. Staff is great. Small portion size and expensive but view compensates.
Server was extremely slow with initial beverages & slow will bill. The omelette lady made a mess of my omelette looked more like scrambled eggs. & instead of re-doing. she said sorry & gave to me still. Food selection wasnt great at all- Overpriced for meal. View was great! For fathers day going forward, I'll try other places before returning to LaRonde.
We usually have an amazing evening here. This was our off experience as the food was cold and over cooked. Although we were not charged for a couple of the meals, makes us second guess our choice for the future. Could have been an off night, but who knows?
It was a great evening for my husband and I. Our waiter, Dean, was great! The food was delicious and we had a lot of fun.
Service and food were excellent! Views were amazing!
Also, we were told to come back next time even if it's just for drinks (no minimum table bill). Perfect date idea. We spent probably $70/person and we were both very satisfied.
This restaurant is very cool! Only problem with it is the amount you pay for so little food is crazy!! They also serve flat pop which I thought was very odd for such a high priced place. The food was very good but the portion was very small. It was a good ambiance but wasn’t very satisfied with the price. Prime rib is very good.
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT , couldn't have asked for more
1/3 of the steak was fatty waste..... For 50 to much waste.
I ordered the Caesar Salad because the menu said the dressing was in-house made. The salad came with no dressing. The waiter brought some to me when I asked. It tasted very much like Kraft Caesar Dressing. Very disappointing. For the main course I had the pork with crab topping. Good but very salty. Staff were polite. Service was good but not great. The views were the highlight of the evening.
Go every y at for our anniversary and always treated great, food is always good,
Desert is great and Dean has been our server for at least the
Last two years and he is such a friendly guy. Can’t say enough about Dean and the staff. Thanks again and we will see you next year and maybe before
The food was excellent; the server did his job but we find him quite chatty.
Overall, a nice experience, but not much food on each plate for many, many dollars. My chicken was overcooked. I expected "perfection" for the price. The view, however, even on a grey day, was spectacular, and our waiter was really fun!
Even on a Rainy Sunday morning it was still a great view from the revolving restaurant. The food was exceptional and by far the best brunch service I have had. There was a large birthday party that arrived about 45 minutes after us that made it a little noise but not unbearable.
Our dinner with six people was awesome. The only negative was getting forgotten after our entrees were done but our server seemed very busy. Price was a bit high but I guess you're also paying for the view.
The service was excellent. Our fellow from the South of Ireland was awesome!
