   We made a reservation here for my birthday, the view was outstanding and the service was excellent... However, the food was the worst we have ever seen at a price point this high. We ordered the calamari, which was unbelievably overcooked to the point of almost not being able to chew and swallow it. Our main courses were disappointing in flavor, my husband ordered the lamb which was almost all fat, and I ordered the lobster ravioli which lacked flavor and had a ton of lobster shell in it. I was picking pieces out of my mouth throughout the whole meal. The drink menu was lacking, but the wine was wonderful. Our dessert was outstanding and the only good course we had throughout our meal. Overall I would visit again if I were just eating a dessert and wanted the view, but the food certainly would not bring us back.

   Not worth the price ... We recently went to this restaurant for our 3yr anniversary during a trip to Edmonton. We found it online and all the reviews were outstanding. Our "service" started with sitting at a table with a white table-cloth, however the waiter didn't hand us our napkin or our menu, like you would typically expect at a "fine dining" restaurant. Drinks were next - the waitress, although friendly, offered very little suggestions. I was surprised there wasn't a Sommelier (or at least none was offered), but we chose a bottle of red and moved on. We also ordered a cocktail (Purple Haze), which tasted like it was 3/4 vodka. I don't mind a strong drink but if I wanted 3 shots of vodka, i would have ordered one. For dinner I ordered the "Steak Diane" flambe at the table, and my GF ordered Gnochi. When the food came out it was bland and tasted "basic". The steak was cut in weird way and not at all like what I expected. Typically for the price we paid, I would have expected a think cut of beef, but this was more like slivers of roast beef steak. After dinner, we asked for the check and it was quickly brought out; however we wanted to pay and get out of there but the waitress was taking forever. To "make up for it" they brought us a fruit plate for our anniversary, but it was weird that they did that AFTER the check. Overall the place was "ok" but I wouldn't go back and for a "fine dining" establishment, I was not impressed. However, the view is good and it is cool that the restaurant rotates.

   It was a wonderful evening for the four of us celebrating two birthdays. The food was outstanding but the service with Dean was absolutely amazing. Wonderful conversations and outstanding service. One of the best dinners I have experienced. I highly recommend La Ronde for that extra special occasion.

   Great selection of menu items both as appetizers and mains. Excellent accommodation of gluten free allergy. Nice to see the whole city from the vantage point of 24 th floor rotating dining room.

   Experience was wonderful! Service was fantastic, menu had a nice selection and every dish sounded delicious! Atmosphere was comfortable and had the right ambiance. What a great view! Would definitely dine here again!

    The food and the atmosphere were fantastic. the service was amazing. Still a hidden jem in the the edmonton downtown. Best way to experience a sunset dinner..5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
