Very good customer service. Excellent quality of food, as well as plenty of different choices. Very nice ambiance as well.
The place was empty on Feb 13, the Saturday before Valentine's Day. That should tell you everything you need to know about this restaurant.
We had a terrible experience. Ultimately seated ourselves. Had to walk over to place order. Food over cooked. Multiple waiters. Couldn't order desert, had to track waiter down. Horrible experience. Tuesday December 22nd table for 14 .
La Riviera at the Pullman Miami Dining is one of the few upscale restaurants close to Miami Airport and was an obvious choice for a business dinner. Service was excellent - professional, friendly, attentive and discrete. Food while limited in selection and not haute cuisine was very good, fresh, properly prepared, served at the right temperature and the tell tale hallmark of a goods restaurant - the bread - was excellent as was the coffee press. We enjoyed our meal and recommend this restaurant to others. We also had the opportunity to have breakfast at La Riviera the next day and it was equally good - a very European experience - agreed to by half of our party who were from Holland and Belgium.
Disappointed. Overrated online reviews were misleading. A little better than 'regular' hotel food. Passable for business lunch.
It was amazing experience . I would recommend to all my family and friends .
The restaurant was quiet. Not much energy for Miami. However, the food and service was good. Oh yeah, don't forget to get your parking ticket validated.
Took a woman out for a first date here and it was fantastic from the time we sat down to the time we left. Get service, good food and wine, and scenery. Highly advice you to try it.
I have gone to this restaurant in the past, but only for breakfast and lunch. The only good thing I could say about my experience was that the service was very good and the dessert (creme broule) was also good. Onion soup was mediocre for a French restaurant, in a French Hotel, and the entrees (Mahi Mahi, one with orange and fennel sauce, and another from the lo-cal choices) were flavorless and dry. Perhaps acceptable fare at an inexpensive place, but not at the prices charged.
I have not been to the Riviera, but this restaurant made me think of what it might be like. The espresso and chocolate croissant was very good. I also had eggs and a fruit cup and sat outside on the patio. The restaurant patio sits off the lagoon and in front of the pool. So the view of the waterfall from the pool as well as the lagoon was very peaceful.
your restaurant is so overaircondintioned that the only thing we wanted was to finish our meal as fast as possible. We will never return. We do not travel 5000 miles to sit in a deepfreezer.
The indoor area is ok but too bright, the outdoor, well needs better furniture if you want to keep calling it a fine dining restaurant and food wise they need to look into the deserts; but truth be told it is still a nice place to go out for dinner.
It is simply the perfect place in all senses of the word. The only bit of downfall is a limited menu, but what they do have, is simply delicious.
This restaurant is located at the same hotel that my wife and I celebrated our wedding reception at so, admittedly, we're a little biased... but we truly have no complaints. The staff was very attentive and nice, the food was delicious, and the setting was very quiet and romantic. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant to any couple looking to have a nice romantic evening.
The lamb confit & accompanying vegetables, which chef was nice enough to switch to sides from another entree, were very tasty & unusual. Great mojito to start! And ceviche was good.
The décor was very nice and the food was tasty but unfortunately not very memorable.
It was just a good place to go to once, not a place that you will think about in the future and remember what a great meal you enjoyed there.
The service was a little slow even though we were practically the only ones there.
I wouldn't go back but I wouldn't say this place isn't bad. I would eat there if I was staying in the hotel.
We made an overnight stop nearby and looked for a nice place for drinks and dinner. We found just that at La Riviera! Nice smaller bar just outside the restaurant and a pleasant interior inside the restaurant combined with a great view all made for a wonderful setting. The food and service didn't disappoint. We enjoyed a fine dinner there although fairly expensive. Highly recommended if you don't mind the higher prices.
the Resturant was beautiful would be nice if they have someone clean the windows but beside that still 5 star food was cooked good I took my boyfriend for his birthday and he enjoyed it but very pricey
This was my 5 restaurant that I have choose in the past 5 years to celebrate my Aniversary an I can said that this is the 2nd one that my wife has enjoy., The food was very good the servers were the best.
Friends and myself have a Restuarant.com voucher and we used it here. I was told the seafood risotto was AMAZING. I ordered the filet and was greatly disappointed. Not the best and not the worst, but not tender and tasted more like a sirloin then filet mignon. Regular water is $4, so be careful when asking for it. Wasn't prepared for the cost. They do have a great wine list and we enjoyed that. We had children with us and they seemed to enjoy their food and the outside dining. Overall the restaurant is nice and attached to a hotel so you can enjoy the bar inside, if you wanted. The service was confusing, we had several different waiters at one point and they were all SLOW. I would go again, but wouldn't go out of my way.
A great place to have a business lunch, or a relaxed one with friends. Great set up, food and service.
Great food and service. I strong recommend this place. Excellent risotto plate.
When we arrived to the parking lot, we thought it wasn't going to be a good dinner. Lot was empty and entering the restaurant seem like it was closed. There were a few tables taken and we were overdressed. But we still wanted to give it a chance.
Daniel, our waitress, was a really nice gentleman who answered all our questions and gave us great suggestions. We had goat cheese for appetizers and it was really good. Seafod paella was huge and full of seafood. The same for the pork plate we ordered.
The dessert was on the house since it was our anniversary and they gave it to us.
Overall it was a romantic dinner since it felt like the restaurant was reserved only for us.
Prices are cheap but the food is really good so it was worth it!
The Best... we loved...Recommend the paella and pasta.
Enjoyed the service and food. Staff was very professional and friendly.
This is a very nice restaurant at a really nice hotel overlooking a lake. The food was excellent and the service was superb. Would definitely recommend this place.
this restaurant was amazing, I loved everything about it. the waiter was super nice as well.
Just that the kitchen was shorhanded and it took an extremely long time between courses, although the head server was extremely nice.
The place gives off a very relaxing vibe. The decorations are all white and gives the diner a feeling of serenity. The food was very good and did not disappoint any of the people in our party. Our server was excellent and was very attentive. I would like to go back for a quite night out.
La Riviera as well as the Sofitel, is a best kept secret. While being an airport hotel restaurant, it is fresh and modern with exciting dishes and good service. And even better for a romantic date night. The only con is not having a really hip and reasonably price wine list. That would set it completely apart from the pack!
Great food, out of this world ambiance, waitress very polite, food served fast, very romantic, we will be back for sure.
On our Valentine date night we have to say the Sofitel Restaurant that we celebrated in was very romantic
with the beautiful ambience created by the staff. The presentation of the food and the limited menu
was just enough for the chef to prepare excellent meals with what should have been a short wait
for the food. There comes the problem with this restaurant is that the service in my area at least
was not as good as it could have been if my my waiter didn't have to attend other tables all over
the floor. This is the fault of the restaurant manager for not assigning the tables within a simple
square grid. Waiting for your wait staff to eventually show up to attend where they left off can take many points away from the entire dining.
At first they put us at a table for four. We had a reservation. They finally moved us to a table for two. The food was good to very good. The atmosphere was quiet and romantic. It took about 35 to 40 minutes to get our check after we finished eating.
The cooking was great as was the presentation. I would have liked more because of the taste and the price. I believe they could double the portions and still make money.
On a side note the service was also vey good and the waiters and waitresses were very attentive but allowed you to enjoy your meal and your company.
A great place that exceeded, our expectations, not just the food, but the outstanding service.
Everything was just ok... Nothing stood out, except the prices
Went here for New Year's Eve, and boy am I glad I did! A seven course meny for a reasonable price, and it was so much worth it. Service was outstanding, with a very attentive server. Even though there was a set menu, they exchanged one of the courses for me without any fuss. Food was excellent and well balanced, and the bread basket was very good. The restaurant was quiet and sophisticated. Would probably go again if I end up in Miami.
We have been going there quite often (be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner). Surprisingly, this last time, something was off: service was lacking, our breakfast was cold...and our waiter disappeared. So don't go for late breakfast...but usually, we LOVE this place!
