La Pulperia 46th Street
La Pulperia’s “cockteleria”, has created an agave-centered list of cocktails that also offers plentiful opportunities to savor Latin spirits such as mezcal, pisco, rum, or cachaca. Sunday brunch Drag Queen Show.
A cool little place in the theater district that serves up interesting and tasty food. Guests are well taken care of by a friendly, attentive staff. Go before or after a show!
Well seasoned and prepared food. A touch noisy and tables somewhat close together, but a theater are find nonetheless.
Great food and service. Loved the fish ribs, guacamole, and lobster tostadas. Started off very quiet then noise went to moderate.
Fun little place with great food to have with friends.
Food was fabulous!!! A bit costly for the portions but high quality and extremely tasty. Want to go back already.
Drag brunch at La Pulperia is a well-oiled machine. The performers and staff are excellent and efficient. Such a fun experience.
Pre-theater dinner for 2 with 1 drink each was $120 including tax and tip. Both meals were served on wooden planks instead of a plate, both were tasty, fish ribs were fun. A small restaurant, all tables were full, just enough room for the waiters to get by but room wasn't too noisy. Staff were professional and responsive.
Love this little hidden gem in the mist of the restaurant filled Restaurant Row! Great happy hour until 9, amazing manager, bartenders and servers! The food was flavorful and filling! My new local spot by work.
Great food. Excellent service. Good location. Highly recommend this place.
Food is excellent. Consistent and tasty. Signature drink. The smokey room is divine. Will continue to go the
We went to a pretheater brunch. The food was great. The service was friendly and we had an amazing experience.
A qualified yes on recommendation to a friend. The service was inattentive and slow. The menu choices were less than listed on OpenTable’s menu and also about 10% higher. OpenTable and the restaurant need to update that.
My husband, my son and I came to this restaurant and we were so impressed. This restaurant is amazing. The flavors that the chef put together was simply delicious!!!
It is a very cozy place. The food was excellent and the service was great . Definitely will be back .
I went to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, so I decided to use the break to have dinner here. I’ve been to this location before and I’ve never been disappointed. The food is fantastic as is the atmosphere overall.
Everything was wonderful, food, service, vibe...great ceviche
We went for their Drag Brunch which is very good and a great laugh.
I’ve had dinner there in many occasions with my Husband so it’s a nice place too for date / casual dining, the food is beautiful, tasty and definitely carries its own style. Head Chef Carlos is very creative. I really recommend trying here!!! Their empanadas are amazing as are the taquitos, steak oh and they do an amazing salad with beets, squash with choice of steak or salmon it’s delicious. Great cocktails too the bartender is a pro 👍
Really good food. Really good service. Loud restaurant
Our new favorite. The food and service were exquisite.
Very busy restaurant-food was very good but very small portions, and I am not a big eater.
We enjoyed everything but service was rather erratic.
We had the lobster taquitos, the tuna ceviche, the fish ribs and a pitcher of white sangria. The coconut rice is not to be missed-it came with the fish ribs.
We like to try new places and this was good but not great.
To expensive for the quality of the meal products
Excellent!! Got the octopus and branzino which were perfectly cooked. Great drinks, food, dessert, and service. Great meal!
The best margarita and amazing food!! Bartender was very cool too.
Amazing time at the drag queen brunch. Food was great. Service was better and show was the best!!! Can’t wait to come back!
Visited for drag brunch. The show drag queens were incredible and put on a great performance. The server was attentive and nice. The food was just about less than average in terms of taste and a bit overpriced for the quality. Overall I would recommend visiting for a lively and boozy drag brunch.
Good food, nice service. Would like to see more menu options, but would still try again.
Food was fantastic! We were a little slow to be seated, but the food quality very much made up for that.
Pre theater dinner.awesome food.just let them know your going to a show. Will accommodate your quick request for drink and food
Our experience at this quaint, stylish restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen was a little slice of heaven. We love the lobster tacos appetizer and Mixta was perfection! The best part was the fact that we were made to feel so welcome by the entire staff. Even the owner, Victor, made us feel like we were regulars who dined there all the time even though it was our first (but not last) visit. They are passionate about their product at La Pulperia. You should go there!
We went after Theater, friendly people and excellent food!
Highly recommended for something a bit different!
The food is not terrible. There were even sands in my spaghetti!
It was so much fun. The drag show was great
Returned to La Pulperia for a delicious dinner. Fine food and service. The guacamole appetizer was a bit small compared to other restaurants. Very good choice for a pretheater dinner or later when the crowd is smaller.
Grilled fish dishes well executed and seasoned just right. Ample portions. Very friendly service.
Fun place with great service and interesting food and cocktails - highly recommend for pre or post theater dinner
Great restaurant! Black pasta was amazing!
I had the opportunity to dine here 2 years ago with a business client. The food and service made an impression on me at that time, so I was waiting for an opportunity to return. A friend and I were meeting for dinner, and La Pulperia immediately came to mind. My friend had never been in before, so it was great to introduce someone else to an enjoyable culinary experience.
We loved everything. The Lobster Taquitos were the perfect starter, along with our delicious cocktails. The Chef Specials were in line with our original ideas from the menu, and our server made it easy for us to make our final decisions. The lighting and noise levels provided a great atmosphere for dinner conversation without feeling too crowded, or straining to hear each other.
The service was prompt, as our food came out at a reasonable time. The presentation was picture perfect, but the flavors and portions were well worth the money we spent. I will be going back again!
The chef at this restaurant is a sauce wizard! The flavors were amazing, innovative and colorful. One of the specials during our visit was a spicy watermelon margarita, because I am expecting, the restaurant was very accommodating in making mocktail version of that specific cocktail...one of the best mocktails I've had. The octopus from the raw bar menu is a must-try. My only complaint was that our entree took quite some time to be served, but everything else came in a very timely manner.
I will return.. strongly recommended
