The sole mueniere was the best I have ever had, the tuna tartare was magnificient, and the lobster sandwich was excellent.
Always very good. Love the sole meunière. Good service.
Friday night casual dinner. Good food, good service, but a little noisy.
Good food & service! Great manager. Definitely will return!
Excellent. Have been there on a couple of occasions. Always great. Have always had a great experience there. I can't wait to go there again
I think I have left a review of this restaurant in the past. In any event, I really enjoy this place as it is consistently good. Every time I have patronized this establishment I like order different items on the menu and am almost always very pleased. Nice sized portions, the food is always quite fresh and their recipes are executed well. Nothing undercooked or overcooked. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively and comfortable.
Restaurant was very cozy and well decorated. My girlfriend and I were greeted and sat by our server Rahul. Rahul provided us with excellent service. His recommendations were on point and the meal had a nice overall flow to it. It was wine Wednesday which means 50% off all bottles. Server helped me select a very tasty Bordeaux. Food was authentic and very flavorful. Everything was great and I will be returning very soon.
This was a surprise delight as a dining experience. Each item brought to our table of four was flavorful, carefully prepared and beyond what we expected. The soaked in butter snails, fresh salads and other appetizers were match by excellent duck, and coq au vin. A short but good value wine list complemented the menu. We chose a LI wine that was perfect. We will be back to this cozy spot with a very full menu of choices and flavorful selections.
Four of us went for Palm Sunday dinner. Used a Groupon for $40 off the total that was about to expire. We always enjoy La P'tit Framboise. Starting with the baguettes with pate and butter through the French onion soup w/Gruyere my boyfriend enjoyed to the steak entrees the men had to the half and full-portion mussel pots the women had - everything was perfect. Our waiter was attentive and efficient and we capped off the meal by sharing two desserts: the trio of sorbets and the raspberry tart. All was perfect. The wines were also good: a nice crisp Sauvignon blanc, a consistently delicious French rose and I heard the Malbec was also excellent. My boyfriend loves the atmosphere and considers it the best restaurant in Port Washington. There are several truly good restaurants in Port Washington, but for us, there is always something special about this bistro that keeps us coming back. FYI, their weekend brunch is the best value and it's less crowded then. Dinner for four - even subtracting the Groupon I paid $18 for a few months back - cost about $230 with tip.
We love this restaurant! The food is excellent and the service is elegant and seamless. Love the warm baguettes and pate. All the dishes we have tried are absolutely delicious and the drinks are great.
Great food, great ambiance. Wonderful local restaurant.
Very good mussels. Only needed a half order it's such a generous amount. Started with the escargots. Delicious. The soup special was way too sweet. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Will return.
Food was excellent and plentiful although gluten free bread alternatives would have been appreciated.
The tables are trop petite!! My husband had a gigantic bowl for mussels plus another for the shells and there was room for little else on the table. Things kept sliding off the tiny slippery marble table for 2. I know it’s supposed to call to mind a French bistro, but common sense, simple logistics should rule. One shouldn’t have to sacrifice a water glass for a little room!
Food is always great
I requested a candle in our desert to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. I notified the owner that I included the request in my open table reservation. They brought out the desert without a candle. When I reminded them, the waiter brought out a cup of whipped cream with a candle in it. Not acceptable. They weren’t busy
A wonderful choice for a Sunday, or Saturday for that matter, brunch. Very charming atmosphere, comfortable not overcrowded seating, great service, and the food was very tasty. Certainly worth a try.
Not as good as usual. Service seemed rushed and distracted even though we were seated at 8:15pm. The steak frites was subpar. The steak was stringy and tough even though I ordered it medium rare. Not a good cut of steak. Will have to think twice before ordering it again.
We have been here many times. This restaurant is always consistent. It is obvious that the ingredients are always fresh and the food is always delicious. Good sized portions, varied menu and does not break the bank.
After dining there many many times the service was worse than awful. Ordered one app and two dinners. Asked few times about app and was told busy kitchen. Sorry. People who sat after we ordered got app (same as we ordered) before us. They decided to finally bring our app and dinner all together. Not good and there isn’t even enough room on table to fit all the dishes. I blame the server since others seemed to fair better. The manager couldn’t care less and just said again busy kitchen. Poor management. Time to fine a more professional knowledgeable person. Miss Ennio he was the best
Mussels Monday!!! We have been twice now and it was great both times. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. We will be back!
food was good but a little pricey not worth driving 40 minutes
A most enjoyable and delicious meal. Excellent brunch menu.
This was my first time at this restaurant. Excellent food, service and ambience...simply lovely.
Food was great, staff friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Very French atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who would like to have a French experience and very good food and wine.
Good food, good service. However poor wine selection
Great for every day super
go for the mussels...stay for the mussels. they have a special on monday nights which has great appeal. hope they keep it at $25 for large portion plus frites and a glass of beer or wine. the manager, farik, is very helpful too.
Having been to France several times and fallen in love with the food there, I find it so difficult to dine in an American restaurant that holds the same stylish French ambiance and a similar divinity with respect to taste, all for the kind of reasonable price one finds in the Latin Quarter on the Left Bank .
Well I am happy to say that I have found an establishment that truly made me feel like I am dining just off the boulevard Saint-Germain, and its found in Port Washington in a place called La P'tite Framboise. With tables placed close together to create the French Bistro atmosphere, and greeted by authentic French baguettes, you have a clue that you are in for a special treat from the moment you enter this cute restaurant. The menu is broad but not exhaustive, featuring the classic French street fare that one expects from the authentic Parisian bistros. I had a delicious trout almondine in a sauce that still makes my mouth water, it was that good. Across from me a fellow feasted on an oversized but thinly cut tender pork chop baked in panko breadcrumbs, to my rear I could smell the delight of escargot bathing in a magnificent lemon butter garlic sauce.
It was a rainy evening, with little visibility to see the cars passing by on the street outside the restaurant's glass door front. Only the streaks of neon lights on the adjacent storefronts passed through the raindrops, which made for a sort of abstract setting that allowed my mind if only for a moment to feel that I was back in Paris. Especially with every bite of a most wonderful French cuisine...in Long Island of all places !
Excellent food! Everything tasted freshly prepared.
Must Try Mussels spagnole! 👌
Food is delicious! Went there three times in three months and its been good every time.
Food and services both good, really worth more visits
This was our second time to La Petit Framboise and we were equally impressed with the overall experience this time as my wife and I were the first time. Everything was super delicious....the clams provencale were over the top....The sauce was so good I think they give you so much so you can have it like soup as the bread takes a little while to get because they warm the bread....Go you won't be disappointed.
Excellent meal during LI Restaurant week! Food was delicious and our server was most attentive.
Great food... The fillet of sole was delicious I will definitely be back
Pleasantly surprised! Great service excellent food will definitely return!
I love this restaurant and its sister one, Cassis, in Huntington. We have gone many times and its a reliable selection with a regular, predictable menu. Everyone enjoyed their food (the caesar salad was particularly crisp, fresh and tasty. My one complaint for the evening was the trout almondine had lots of trout but hardly any almonds. I asked for more and they promptly gave them to me. But, really, I should not have had to ask for this. Otherwise, I highly recommend the place.
Lovely French European restaurant. Very intimate and cozy. Food and service was excellent. Will be back!
Muscles were so fresh and the service was impeccable. The food does not disappoint and you feel like you’re in France.
Lovely brunch. Delicious bread; excellent service!
Good food good service. Very enjoyable albeit a bit on the noisy side
This is one of my family's favorite places in the area.
Food is fantastic. Wines by the glass are also very good.
