Open table set my reservation, confirmed it the next day. I show up dressed and ready for dinner only to be told the restaurant was closed and has been closed since March! The front desk and valet confirmed they had multiple people with reservations coming to them as well. Ridiculous smh!
Booked a reservation, and they were closed. You should take them off Open Table until they open.
This was an amazing experience. I took my girlfriend for her birthday and it didn’t disappoint. We had excellent customer service and excellent food.
However, the only thing that I didn’t like was on how to get to the restaurant. We were lost for about 10 minutes until a staff member directed us to the elevator that took us to the restaurant.
Birthday dinner. Never been to Bonaventure or LA prime. Food was overpriced view was nice, wouldn’t go back.
A beautiful view of LA while eating dinner and very polite customer service! Overall great experience and would definitely go back. 10/10!!
I've been to LA Prime before and both times have been excellent! The ambiance is beautiful and the food was amazing. I ordered my filet mignon medium rare but was a bit overcooked. Other than that, overall amazing restaurant! Would most definitely cone here often.
Fancy and Romantic, greatbplace for a first date. Beautiful views
The server was very friendly & attentive to us. The food (filet mignon) tasted excellent!
The view was outstanding and it wasn’t too loud so we could talk & enjoy each other.
Food was amazing, drinks were so yummy they are dangerous restaurant clean, service was fabulous!!! I love LAPrime
Cool view, but it’s a dinosaur compared to all the innovative places out here.
It was amazing, I wish I got my servers name he was the best! Def coming back, thank you for always showing us a great time!
LA prime is inside the beautiful Westin Bonaventure. As soon as I arrived to the hotel’s parking garage I mentioned I was dining at LA prime and received complimentary parking! The ride up the elevator to the 35th floor was scenic and unique . The service was outstanding. The food was a bit salty for someone on a low salt diet. If you are, you may want to mention it. I did taste the filet mignon and lobster tails which was perfectly delicious!! I ordered the shrimp scampi ( a bit salty) and lobster bisque ( salty) . The sea bass is amazing and cooked to perfection... I definitely enjoyed my evening at LA Prime !!
LA Prime is the place to be!!! Food, service (Maria) is extraordinary!! Thank you for having us!
Great food choice and excellent service. A bit pricey though.
Steak wasn't prepared as requested even after attempting to rectify the concern after the first attempt.
Was my first time coming for a surprise bday dinner for my fiancé and we loved it. Service was on point and the ambience is very cozy and romantic will def return. Reason for my 4 stars was because even though everything was great the chicken could have used just a little bit more flavor but overall great place to come dine
Great iconic LA dining experience. The steaks were perfect and the potatoes side dish were delicious. Oh...and the desert....perfection.
First time here and it was amazing!! It was a little overcast but the view from the 35th floor of the Bonaventure was stellar. We sat on the north end so our view was China town Dodger stadium.
The service was great Maria was very knowledgeable of the menu and made awesome recommendations. We used Uber in and out of downtown, and allowed for some serious Mojito's very tasty.
Outstanding quality classic steak house BUT also fantastic vegetables. Excellent view and quiet ambiance--good for a business meeting.
Rafael and Francisco were all over our table with excellent service and being professionally friendly. We will he back again soon.
It was a great view, and the servers were very accommodating. The food was just good. Some items were great, but it wasn’t consistent. For a nice view of the city with a lounge downstairs that rotates for a 360 view of LA, this is the place.
Great food, great ambiance, great views, and great service!
Excellent experience, recommended !
Beautiful place. Food was great. Must admit, seemed a little pricey for what we got. I realize it was on Vday weekend but man, some of the prices were almost double from a regular weekend menu. They also removed a few of the things we were the most excited about trying for the Vday menu.
If you're a restaurant and you're gonna hit my wallet that hard at least have the decency to hit my mouth too.
Over all > Good place, great service, HUGE wine list. Would recommend, just not on a vday.
Brought my husband for a nice dinner to celebrate his bachelors degree , perfect date night !
On Valentine’s Day they were very busy but so is every other restaurant. The food was outstanding, Cameron provided a fantastic service! Very much recommended!!
I wasn’t impressed. The server was rude and the wait was too long.
Food took a little to long to come out, roughly about 30-49 mins but beside that great drinks, great food, great view and great service
Waiter was very polite and attentive. Food delicious and with a beautiful view.
Valentine's menu wasnt worth the price tbh .
The regular menu is way better.
It was just not worth $580, serious gouging of clientele under the excuse of Valentines Day. I received a phone call AFTER I made reservations that the bill would be $160 a person and that a fee would be charged to my credit card if I canceled. Another point on this is that that "$160" a person did not include an automatic 18% gratuity - totally not worth it BTW - plus having to pay for water AND if we wanted an additional drink. The service felt rushed and unfriendly. Overall a MAJOR disappointment that ended up costing more than any restaurant in LA. As a long time Bonvoy/Marriott customer, I've never felt more ripped off! The Westin should be ashamed of themselves.
A Valentine’s Day home run! The steaks & lobster were the best we’ve ever had. Absolutely choice meats cooked to perfection! Bravo! Potatoes were great too. Add some greens to the main course (like asparagus or French-style green beans) & it would have been the best meal in town. Service was top-notch, the views spectacular. Free valet parking was nice too (esp when you consider the daily in-&-out rate for hotel guests is 50/day!) The only things we thought could be improved upon have to do with ambiance: it’s about time for a furniture upgrade— they’re
a little behind the times here; booths, walls & tables need some more warmth. And the old-school sound system with cheap overhead speakers gots to go. Music makes the evening, & while I think they were on the right track with classic jazz, coming out of low-grade speakers made it sound more like an elevator. We’ll be back for the food though! OFF-THE-CHARTS!!!
New top favorite restaurant
I ordered the scallops and they were “sandy” and the menu stated there were mashed potatoes with the meal and I did not see or taste any mashed potatoes in my meal. So I’m thinking it was an an incomplete meal for the price
Beautiful views, and most importantly awsome staff. Shout out to Maria that made my experience remarkable!
Great service and amazing food.
Overpriced and food not good.
We have been to the restaurant before loved it and the bar below. The food and service was excellent. All tables have a view. The only reason I did not give it all 5 stars for everything is because they seated a in a corner and it was my daughter’s birthday. She still loved it!!!
Came here for dinela. The food was good. But it was nothing special. For it being 60 bucks than the usual 50 for a typical steakhouse dinela it was not worth it. The lobster bisque was not what I expected. It wasnt the best and not as decadent or creamy as I was expecting it to be. It tasted more like the guts. Nothing wrong with that but it was too much. The steak was good cooked perfectly. Very lightly seasoned if it was even seasoned. The sides you would want to get is extra. It came with potatoe au gratin and it was grainy. I would've preferred plain ol mash. We added the creamed corn. It was good but I've had better. The dessert looked and tasted like it was made in a factory. Nothing special. It was a nice experience great as ambiance, great service terrible traffic but I would've choose to go to another steakhouse next time around.
