We had a 1 pm reservation but we were not seated until after 1:30
Service was average, though friendly but the food and space were lovely! Would return for a relaxed dinner or brunch.
It was a lovely evening. Food and service was very good. Noise level was high as it got later and busier. Overall we had a great time.
Fresh, delicious food. Great service. Great atmosphere.
My friend and I waited 45 minutes for our food.
Ambiance and service was fine, but brunch food items were mediocre. It seems there is only one type of bread they use. No matter whether you’re having whipped ricotta, eggs Benedict, or French toast. Not always fit for purpose.
Salmon frittata was super dry and overcooked. Ricotta pancakes tasted super egg-y.
I’ve had the pasta here for dinner and would return for that, but would not recommend the brunch menu.
We had a very enjoyable meal at La Pecora Bianca! To say it's vibrant would be correct. It is a very busy, bustle type of restaurant and there is background music playing. The cocktail menu is interesting and the appetizers were delicious. I had the whipped Ricotta and would have enjoyed more bread to eat with it; the ratio of bread to Ricotta was off. My husband had the Tuna Tartare and really enjoyed it. We opted for Pasta for dinner and the portion was just right. The Campanelle with mushrooms was very flavorful and tasty. The Tagliatelle Bolognese also delightful. We did not stay for dessert because we were pressed for time for an event, but the cappuccino, I'm sure would have been memorable.
The restaurant is good, great pasta - serviceable and tasty. However the service struggled with friday night bookings as any decent restaurant do in friday nights - I have to wait for 15 minutes for my reserved seat and I'm 30 minutes early. Probably just an off day, but everything's good.
Great for Morning coffee meeting, only comment is that the waiter could have explained the menu choices a little better.
We dining in downstairs dining room, which was quaint and cozy and perfect place for me and my two daughters to catch up. Food was excellent. Service a little slow but overall a positive experience.
love sade the hostess!!!!! xo so sweet and so friendly!!
Great meal to catch up with friends. Pasta was delicious and they didn't rush us out. Would 100% come back and recommend.
The food is somewhat different from the uptown location (somewhat better IMO) but still a pleasing dining experience overall.
Adrian was the best!
Excellent experience and food for the price! The wine list is also worth to mention, great!
Service was extremely poor. Food came out cold, had to send it back to be reheated. Waiter was near impossible to get ahold of when we needed more water, etc. Additionally, we were seated near the door and every time someone entered or exited we were met with a blast of cold air. Not the best dining experience.
I like this place a lot. I prefer the midtown location for comfort and noise level, but the menu is the same and the food is really delicious, well prepared Italian. The NoMad location is quite noisy, but I did have a really nice table at a banquette which helped. The pasta dishes are outstanding as are the meatballs. The swordfish dish was nothing special, and pricey as swordfish tends to be. The wine selection is very good, but pricey as well. Service was friendly and efficient. I've eaten here several times and it's always pretty much the same reliable food and service.
We’ve eaten at the midtown location numerous times and were unhappy to find that this location not only had a smaller footprint, but a smaller menu as well. Still good food, but would opt to go to the other locations for more options and better ambiance.
Delicious lunch. Though it was crowded, our table was nicely nestled which helped make conversation more intimate
Old friend. Loves pasta!
Always enjoyable, it's my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Food great, service impeccable and it has a lovely atmosphere. A bit loud, but - hey - what successful NY restaurant isn't these days?
food was really bad - salty and tasteless. does not match the awesome ambience of the place
I really enjoyed the setting here. The tableware and wall decoration are painted in bayside color, which would make you really relaxed and prepared for your exquisite food.
The food was very good. We had the beets. They were delicious. Campanelle pasta was great too!
Comfortable space, attentive service and excellent food. we tried the meatballs and ricotta apps, farro salad, steak and garlic potatoes. all very good. interesting cocktails as well. i work in the neighborhood and have never been here. will try it for lunch next time.
The food is exquisite, the service impeccable, and if you don't get a seat in the basement dining room the NOISE IS BEYOND TOLERABLE. The young people working there will be deaf by the time they are 30!
I was looking forward this place after hearing some great reviews about their lunch. We decided to come for brunch but was very disappointed by the food. The frittata was over cooked and not flavorful. While I didn’t say anything about the overcooked dish, they must’ve noticed and they did give us a free desert type dish at the end which was a nice gesture. Coffee was burnt tasting and cold.
I’ll come back here to try the lunch but not for brunch
I always feel comfortable here! Food is always delicious. Ambiance is perfection. Service was great. A tad slow? But immediately upon sitting we were handed complimentary Prosecco which made everything worthwhile. Tuna tartare app was divine. We had a bit of an issue with the check at the end -- we were initially charged for the complimentary drinks, which they acknowledged immediately and dealt with. Other than that, we felt very comfortable and happy and filled by the end of the night.
Delicious, as always! The beet salad and burrata were incredible.
Excellent food and service! My daughter said it’s the best pasta bolognese she’s had in a long time!
Wonderful food and staff
We were celebrating a birthday, as were many tables around us. Our waiter knew we were celebrating a birthday and we were the ONLY table that did not receive a candle with dessert. It was honestly offensive. Our bill also came with extra drinks that we did not order. The waiter took it off the bill, but it makes me wonder how many people wouldn’t have caught the error. Bread is complimentary, but for a table of four the first round of bread came with two huge pieces and two small ones. The second round of bread came with one large piece and two small pieces...three pieces for four people... Two people at our table ordered steak and we had to ask for steak knives. Speaking of silverware, at one point our silverware was switched and the tray containing said fresh silverware was held so close to the head of one of the people in our group that she had to physically move her body out of the way. This was a fine meal, but won’t be rushing back. Food was decent but service was lacking.
Lovely, lively, and authentic Italian gem of a restaurant!
Excellent food and service! We really enjoyed our dinner here.
The food is delicious and the space is lovely. Good value.
We went on a holiday with a prix fixe menu, but we will definitely be coming back again. The steak, vegetables, dessert, and sides were all perfect. We were also very impressed with their cocktails. I loved their Bianco Negroni.
It is a fantastic place for date, the environment of the restaurant is smooth and comfortable. The light turn from light to a little darker, which is perfect because I went there for dinner and the darker light give the area a sense of nighttime. The service is great, they did took a good care of my feeling. The price of the food is average, unless you went there when it is a special day like Valentine’s Day. The price will get a bit higher for those days. Last by not least, me and my girlfriend enjoyed the food a lot, especially the Nutella tart was one of my favorite because the sweetness was on point. With all those advantages, it will a nice restaurant that I would like to go for the second time
Great food and service! The host was not the friendliest but I think you get that in NYC.
