My friend and I went for a brunch and although we were not sat right away, we were offered a seat at the bar until our table was ready. Every single staff member was accommodating and friendly. We absolutely loved the welcoming atmosphere with a slight touch of holiday spirit. (As our visit was around Christmas time). The seating was close but not cramped and the food was fresh and delicious. I cannot stress enough that every single person was there to make sure we were comfortable; whether it be to the bus person or the manager. If there was an empty glass, it was filled. If there was a dirty plate, it was cleared. As a person who has worked in retail and hospitality my entire life, I can honestly say this was the most pleasant place for a quick brunch with the best bang for you buck!
The food was very very good!!
Went to La Pecora for lunch twice in one week and both times it was delicious. The pasta with mushrooms and the pasta with bolognese sauce were amazing. We had reservations both times. On the second visit, we were seated 20 mins late because the place was packed and earlier diners were lingering at their tables. Once we got seated, the host sent over a plate of complimentary burrata to thank us for our patience. That was a very thoughtful and unexpected gesture.
Fantastic food, service, food, and drinks! I was here for a lunch meeting and really enjoyed it.
We were made to wait nearly 20 minutes after our reservation time and treated as if it were a privilege to be able to eat there. Very unhappy. It's not a privilege to eat there--it's noisy and pretentious. The food is good, but not good enough to feel this way. Won't be eating there again.
Great! Awesome food and modern ambiance
Terrific food and quiet-ish atmosphere for talk. Excellent waiter but the hostess is a horror, a dreadful start, which cooks and wait-staff overcame with stars.
Great burrata burger and pasta ...
We took a colleague out to dinner who was leaving our company the food, service and wine were excellent., but the resturant is very popular, so it was very crowded and noisy. Avv V true NYC experience !
Seated 25 minutes after our reservation time. Mediocre food. Inattentive waiter. Better Italian restaurants in NY.
Excellent food and service.
Braised short rib, with truffle was outstanding!!
Very nice spot for lunch with coworkers. The waiter was helpful and we all enjoyed our pasta dishes. I would go back if my company was footing the bill again.
It didn’t have an Italian dining experience feel to it. It wasn’t “bad” but it felt more like a farm to table hipster spot than an Italian restaurant. Again, not bad, but definitely not an authentic traditional Italian restaurant experience. You definitely won’t find traditional Italian entrees here.
Decent Italian food; tables are a bit tight making it a bit difficult to move around the restaurant.
Great food and service.
We loved it! Delicious pasta, great service, and fun atmosphere. What’s not to love?!
I always have had wonderful meals and a great time at La Percoa Bianca but this last visit fell short. Very short. This was the first time all of my party did not order pasta. Each of us had an issue with our dinners - the skirt steak was dry and overcooked; the chicken was fatty and lacked taste, the farro was overcooked and the pork Milanese tasted like it was under a heat lamp for hours. The bill was over $350 for 3 adults and 2 kids who had appetizers.
When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the waiter said he would speak to the manager and then promptly avoided us/never came back. So disappointing.
Sort of a date with children ... staff extremely nice and friendly. Delicious food and wine!!!!
Delicious food and fantastic service. I was there on my own and didn’t feel lonely or in the way at all. The food was so good I even had desert! A must go in NYC.
The meal I received was excellent and very filling. My first server was friendly with a big smile but he must have left half way through my meal because at the end, it was another person who assisted me.
Great food and atmosphere. It was a bit loud, but you could have a business lunch there and still hear one another.
Never. One and done .... Too many restaurants that actually cater to - and respect - a guests' requests.
Amazing food and service! I’ve also had brunch here and it’s just as great as dinner. I am always so happy when I eat here.
Great food and service. It was a little loud and the tables were arranged very closely together however it didn't take away from the good food from salad to entree to dessert as well as the wine.
I should have listened to Anthony Bourdin about never ordering fish on a Monday. The salmon was not fresh and I am still sick from it.
We had to wait for our table. The place was very loud. Our food came back under cooked and our waiter was very difficult to find.
This is the 2nd year, I've met my girlfriends at La Pecora Bianca for a reunion brunch. The food is delicious with good size portions. We enjoyed the one hour unlimited bloody mary, mimosa or bellini drinks. Our waitress was outstanding - friendly, efficient and happy to accommodate anything we requested. The atmosphere is open and airy but not too noisy, so we could chat and catch up. We will be returning next year!
A great find in NYC. Very happy with our choice. Food was above average
Always great for every meal
We love this neighborhood gem. The pasta is especially special and the service always friendly and attentive. We have come to know Batu - ask for his table and you’ll leave with a friend.
Food and service outstanding. Servers very attentive and made suggestions. Great atmosphere very welcoming. Highly suggest :)
Pastas were fantastic but the main, Pork Milanese was just okay.
The food was quite good but it is very noisy and the tables are very close to each other. We shared a tuna tartare for a first course, which was very good. IFor the main course I had the branzino and my friend had the swordfish. Mine was delicious. Hers was a little overcooked. We had a nice bottle of Gavi de Gavi with our dinner.
didn’t care for the rude host but otherwise food and service was excellent as usual
Excellent, beautiful ambiance great food noisy but what can you going to do?
I will never understand why restaurants won't seat you until your full party is there, but it's a common practice so I'm not upset about it. What I am upset about is how unnecessarily condescending the hosts at La Pecora Bianca are about it EVERY time I come here. It's enough to make me want to not come back.
Delicious food, great service, and miracle of miracles - even though the restaurant was bustling and lively, I could hear every word of our conversation.
I loved our server, Zach.
But, they have to be careful w/the curtain around the door, B/c it got so cold so quickly. I don’t know what will happen during January & February.
Great food, great wine. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
