Forte puzza d’aglio in tutto il ristorante. Rumore assordante, impossibile chiacchierare con i commensali.
Consiglio di installare i pannelli fonoassorbenti ...
showed up early and they sat me right away - service was super attentive and efficient. the food was delicious - we ordered a salad, grilled octopus, scallops, and clam linguine. i loved the octopus and linguine was perfectly made👌🏻👌🏻 would recommend for a chill friends get-together, family dinner, or casual date; will def be back
Fun place with a typical New York City vibe
But on the Sunday that we were there, they were out of several items on their menu.
Also, We wanted a side order of red sauce for our whipped ricotta—that was considered a request that the chef couldn’t or wouldn’t do—kinda crazy
Lively atmosphere, delicious food, pleasant, efficient service
-Brought my mom to dinner here since it always has such great reviews. Waiter was negligent and food was rushed.
Brunch was not available at the day we went
Sehr gutes Essen, leckerer Wein, sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Lediglich etwas laut, für New York aber normal.
I would recommend if they could figure out a time when the noise isn’t deafening. I went at 6:15 on a Thursday evening and by 7 it was difficult to carry on a conversation. But the food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Ugh! I love this place so much. The service on Sunday was horrible. We had a 10:30 reservation for brunch. Either I server was new or super slow, but things weren’t great. It took about 10 mins after seating to take our drink orders. Once the drinks came my almond latte looked more like a cafe au lait. No foam at all. Not a big deal, there isn’t a lot of fat in the milk to make the foam. But there should be some. Our server took our food orders and I requested some sugar. He went to put our food in but never came back with the sugar. 15 mins go by and our food comes, and still no sugar. Another server asks how our food is and I asked if she was our new server. She said no your server went on a break. I ordered sugar again. It never came. At 11:45 I get up from the table and find the manager. I ask that some sugar be brought to the table for my , now what assume is cold coffee. He obliges. He first brings the sugar then takes the cold latte. 10 mins later returns with a new latte, but reaches across my plate, that I’m eating from, to place the latte on the table. In the process he spills it on the table and the saucer. He attempts to clean it up. And says this is on the house. Sorry about this.
I am sorry but this is unacceptable. I have managed a restaurant in NYC for brunch, and this ain’t it. Bad customer service experience. Super disappointed
The Food was Delicious, Service was Good. Friendly relaxed atmosphere!
Amazing food. The gramigna and the mushroom pasta were ridiculous. They don’t rush you, so you can dine. Dessert was great. Highly recommend.
It’s loud, louder than its sister restaurant on the East side. I don’t know why. But the food, service, & setting is great. There doesn’t seem to be a “down” time so best to make a reservation if you want to go.
I encountered the rudest hostess in a while on this occasion. When I arrived at 12pm sharp, she was on the phone so I waited patiently till she was done (it took a while). My friend that I was meeting was already waiting for me at the bar.
When the hostess was finally done with her phone conversation, which took much longer than it should have for someone manning the front of the house, she told me she would seat me in a moment. But another party came in then and she proceeded to ignore me and engaged in another long conversation with them while I stood there waiting for her to finish.
By the time she walked me over the my table, my exhaustion turned to huge disappointment as she placed me at a middle table when I had requested a quiet side table on my Opentable booking for catching up with an old colleague. I reminded her of that and without hesitation, she told me — in an extremely rude manner — that everyone else before me had requested a side table, which I found hard to believe. And while it seemed like a ludicrous excuse, it may have actually been more credible had she mentioned it when she first checked me in, before trying to shove me into a table that I found extremely cramped.
When I mentioned that I found it strange that everyone else who got seated before me asked for a side table, she just turned her head and walked off without dignifying me with a response.
The good waiter service afterwards was a reprieve but the first few moments of my visit to the restaurant were scarring enough to make me think twice about returning or recommending it to a friend.
At this location be prepared to be elbow to elbow with other customers. The place is small and tight. They have a large communal table where they seat guests.
The servers were hardly welcoming. We made a 7pm reservation for 2. When we alerted them of our prompt arrival, they immediately said our table wasn’t ready and that the guests sitting there just received their entrés. What does that mean? Reservations don’t matter? Not here. We ended up seated at the chefs bar so that we didn’t have to wait for another hour.
Luckily or server was delightful. He was professional and was careful with our allergy/dietary restrictions. The food was good but it wasn’t great. I heard the other location (UES) was much better.
I wouldn’t return here. There are other options in the neighborhood that would offer great food and MUCH better service.
Service wasn’t all that. Waiting for 30 mins to get a table when I had a reservation.
One of the best restaurants. Perfect 10 from food to ambiance! Amazing service!!!
Great food, atmosphere, and service! A wonderful experience and highly recommend it!
Lovely meal, inviting atmosphere, welcoming service!
The food is always good - and the service as well. Unfortunately, the tables are quite close and one is simply 'trapped' when a loud speaker sits beside one. Perhaps some ways of dampening sound levels with tapestry or panels? It would be nice to enjoy a conversation but typically hard when full. Thanks
dinner and service was good...
a little disturbed that someone was vaping at the table next to us... and no one from the restaurant staff addressed. Not my idea of a great place to eat if people are allowed to do that.
Polite, efficient service and fresh pasta. The kale and ricotta salad was delicious! Good option in the neighborhood.
Food was bland , nothing special or new .
The food was great but our service was terrible. Our waiter took our food order and then an hour later dropped off our check. He never checked to make sure the food was okay, we had to flag other staff to get our coffees refilled and to ask for condiments and silverware.
Incredibly slow service and unexceptional food. Not even a bread basket at an Italian restaurant.
Terrible costumer service.
Terrible experience and lack luster staff
The pancakes are really tasty with refreshing light touch of lemon (but the portion is huge, be prepared ...) ! The eggs benedict are good too, fare quantity of salmon, the bread is really tasteful and crispy !
We had a 1 pm reservation but we were not seated until after 1:30
The unlimited brunch drinks are delicious, and you never need to flag down your server for another drink. As soon as you are *mostly* done with the one you're drinking, another will magically appear :)
Service was average, though friendly but the food and space were lovely! Would return for a relaxed dinner or brunch.
It was a lovely evening. Food and service was very good. Noise level was high as it got later and busier. Overall we had a great time.
1)Jeffrey 2)Quality of food 3)Menu 4)Ambience
were the reasons (in order listed) we kept returning.
We love our dining experiences at La Pecora Bianca each and every time.
Fresh, delicious food. Great service. Great atmosphere.
My friend and I waited 45 minutes for our food.
Ambiance and service was fine, but brunch food items were mediocre. It seems there is only one type of bread they use. No matter whether you’re having whipped ricotta, eggs Benedict, or French toast. Not always fit for purpose.
Salmon frittata was super dry and overcooked. Ricotta pancakes tasted super egg-y.
I’ve had the pasta here for dinner and would return for that, but would not recommend the brunch menu.
We had a very enjoyable meal at La Pecora Bianca! To say it's vibrant would be correct. It is a very busy, bustle type of restaurant and there is background music playing. The cocktail menu is interesting and the appetizers were delicious. I had the whipped Ricotta and would have enjoyed more bread to eat with it; the ratio of bread to Ricotta was off. My husband had the Tuna Tartare and really enjoyed it. We opted for Pasta for dinner and the portion was just right. The Campanelle with mushrooms was very flavorful and tasty. The Tagliatelle Bolognese also delightful. We did not stay for dessert because we were pressed for time for an event, but the cappuccino, I'm sure would have been memorable.
The restaurant is good, great pasta - serviceable and tasty. However the service struggled with friday night bookings as any decent restaurant do in friday nights - I have to wait for 15 minutes for my reserved seat and I'm 30 minutes early. Probably just an off day, but everything's good.
Great for Morning coffee meeting, only comment is that the waiter could have explained the menu choices a little better.
We dining in downstairs dining room, which was quaint and cozy and perfect place for me and my two daughters to catch up. Food was excellent. Service a little slow but overall a positive experience.
