Excellent food and service! We really enjoyed our dinner here.
The food is delicious and the space is lovely. Good value.
We went on a holiday with a prix fixe menu, but we will definitely be coming back again. The steak, vegetables, dessert, and sides were all perfect. We were also very impressed with their cocktails. I loved their Bianco Negroni.
It is a fantastic place for date, the environment of the restaurant is smooth and comfortable. The light turn from light to a little darker, which is perfect because I went there for dinner and the darker light give the area a sense of nighttime. The service is great, they did took a good care of my feeling. The price of the food is average, unless you went there when it is a special day like Valentine’s Day. The price will get a bit higher for those days. Last by not least, me and my girlfriend enjoyed the food a lot, especially the Nutella tart was one of my favorite because the sweetness was on point. With all those advantages, it will a nice restaurant that I would like to go for the second time
Great food and service! The host was not the friendliest but I think you get that in NYC.
The food was amazing! I will return soon for round 2!!
Noisey, overcrowded, tasteless food, watery drinks, overpriced
We had a reservation but had to wait 45 minutes or so for a table. Handled it well with two wry gracious apologies and one round of drinks. Would have been really bad if we hadn’t been with friends and catching up tho. Unfortunately have to say that.
had to wait 30 mins to be seated although we had a brunch reservation...midtown location is better!
We had the ricotta appetizer which really wasn't that special, it only came with two small slices of bread, so we asked for more but the bread that they brought next was clearly not fresh and didn't task that good. The pasta we had were really Good though. The service was fine but we got interrupted a lot of times making it feel like they were trying to rush us out which is not what you want on a date night.
Manager was amazing. Treated us like family.
I love this place!!!
Food was okay and service was terrible. Our server disappeared after taking our order never to be seen again. No one came to check-in on us until I requested the check from another server. It’s a beautiful restaurant but will not be coming back.
La Pecora Bianca is a local favorite in the neighborhood. My office is in the area and I absolutely love picking up a quick morning coffee and snack. I’ve had lunch a few times and numerous breakfasts. This was my first time having dinner; my team and I were so excited because we finally found a night that works for us all — and it happened to be during restaurant week!
We arrived a bit early but the restaurant was fairly empty and we were brought to our table immediately. Our host was pleasant, our waiter was great and the food was delicious!
We were sat for about 34-40 minutes when a hostess came to our table to ask if we cared for dessert or coffee — this only a few minutes after our entree was cleared. We politely replied we had ordered our dessert and wouldn’t be needing coffee but thank you nonetheless. She replied okay and grabbed our waiters attention and told him to wrap us up. We were all taken aback... we had just finished our meal and were looking forward to dessert and we weren’t sat for over 45 minutes at this point. Our dessert came immediately after the interaction. We were all extremely disappointed and completely shocked that we were practically being forced out of the restaurant. We quickly ate our dessert and got the check.
A three course meal, completed in under an hour. If they needed our table, we would’ve gladly sped up the process. However, it was handled inappropriately and left an unsavory feeling with the entire experience. It’s unfortunate because I adore this spot and now... I don’t know if I’ll make it back for a second attempt.
The restaurant is energetic and attractive, with excellent service and good food. I had meatballs as an appetizer, and they were very tender and tasty. the chicken with farro was very flavorful, and the desserts were luscious.
Great vibes, mediocre food.
The Gramigna is awesome. Really delicious. Highly recommended
Excellent attentive service. Classy modern atmosphere. Tasty food. Desserts are not to be missed!
Management was terrific in helping sort out our situation. We had wanted a larger table as some of our guests were fuller in size and we were a bit squished around a small round. They compensated with wine and Our server was absolutely superb. The noise level is a challenge, especially as we had some older guests who found it difficult to hear properly. I'm not sure why some sound absorbing baffles cannot be added to the walls or ceiling! All those hard surfaces are challenging!
Great food and wine - awesome service.
The food was AMAZING and we LOVED the music so much
The pastors were so good. I had the mushroom pasta with them to leave off the pesto and it was fantastic
It was very crowded on a rainy Monday night. We were a party of 4 and experienced a tight squeeze since tables are small overall. But food was good and made up for the coziness. My boneless dark meat chicken was very tender and the skin was crispy. The Nutella tart was delicious. I cleared every dish. Since it was crowded so noise level was high but we had a good time. I recommend it.
Service was incredibly rushed. Main course was delivered almost immediately after the starter which I asked them to remove. Then the staff hovered around. Very uncomfortable and disappointing. Food was OK However nothing special. The winter negroni was good.
Good food, service errors were promptly corrected
Server rushed us through our meal including ending service before our one hour unlimited was up
Unlimited brunch drinks were great!
Quality of food varied —the fettuccine bolognese was said to be delicious and so was my Bellini. But my decaf coffee was very strong, frittata was nothing special, and the Bloody Mary too spicy for my companion.
Service was very attentive— the waitstaff came by frequently to refill drinks but they were not intrusive. The table in the back corner was perfect for our party of 5 so that we could hear each other speak. The main seating area would have been too loud for us to carry on conversation.
Always outstanding food and service. Never rushed. Love, love La Pecora Bianca and can't wait to go back again.
EVERYTHING was fantastic!!
BIG shout-out to our server, David. He is a STAR!!
Had a lovely birthday lunch on the 25th celebrating my sons 26th birthday. But, on my 'opentable' reservations, I listed as special occasion for his birthday, but nothing. But the same thing happened on the 16th celebrating my daughters birthday somewhere else. So not entirely sure the particular restaurants are to blame, or opentable reservation they received. Disappointing happened twice without two weeks. Delicious lunch nonetheless
The food is always good! Really reccomend the grimigna and the meatballs to start. Everyone was pleased with what they ate. I would say that the service is always a bit slow, at this location and up town. As long as you aren’t in a rush it’s fine!! Oh and try the Nutella tart! Insanely good!!
Homemade pastas were amazing! We had meatballs and octopus for all’s, octopus was incredible. The meatballs were the best I’ve ever had!
The lights could be more dim but service was perfect. 33% off all wines after 9p! Nice surprise
Trendy Italian spot in a good location. Beautiful design, busy and expensive but a good date place.
I said I would be back...and was! Same experience...outstanding. The homemade pasta is super! Cauliflower appetizer phenomenal.
As always, the lunch was great! Food was great. It’s one of my go to places for a breakfast or lunch meeting!
We wait around 20 min to seat, but it was ok.
I got the chicken as I had pasta earlier that day, and I often feel weird getting chicken at restaurants... But I didn't regret it one bite! Delicious.... the skin, the farro, the carrots... everything was great!
Booked for a birthday. Totally worth going in subzero temperatures. The farmers minestrone was incredible!
I love love LOVE this spot for dinner (their pasta is incredible), but the brunch didn't measure up unfortunately.
Non welcoming waiters
