I have been going La Penetteria for many years for New Years eve. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good. The atmosphere is very pleasant and many of the diners come year after year. It is also a great place for a quiet dinner or lunch on other days.
Classic cuisine in a traditional setting; food to please everyone and exceptional service. Our family loves to patronize this neighborhood gem! (We just wish we knew how to pronounce the name!)
We have made it our tradition for a family Christmas Eve Dinner here. The food, service, and ambiance are all excellent. And each year, we receive the warmest, most genuine reception. Our family has grown and changed over the years and the staff have been so gracious...with hard-of-hearing elderly and with high-energy little ones.
This is a lovely family restaurant, which has become a very special part of our Christmas tradition...in addition to visits around the calendar.
This is the first time Open Table misled us. We had all kinds of choices in Bethesda on Christmas Eve day, but chose this place based on its rating, believing it might be a hidden gem. Instead, it was iceburg lettuce salads and pasta in red sauce on a special occasion with family. Very disappointing. Service was gracious, but that's all I can say to recommend it.
Gorgeous restaurant with some of the best Italian food I have ever had. Including restaurants I've visited in Italy. Was the best choice possible for a date night was a quite joint with exceptional service.
This is our go-to Italian restaurant in Bethesda for reliably good food & wonderful service.
Great place for relaxing dinner, with good service, good food at affordable prices.
La Paneterira has always been a favorite for us. The food is great and it is a place where you can dine with friends and have a conversation.
Food was the best. Good value, including the wine carafe. Very attentive and knowledge service. Decor a bit tired.
The BEST service and great food!
