La Nouvelle Maison Ratings and Reviews
You cannot miss La Nouvelle Maison. Really wonderful in every respect. The service is just spot-on, the food preparations are an experience. The interior is pleasant and open. It is more quiet that you would expect. The service was impeccable and the food preparations are wonderful. If you have been, go again. If you have not been. You should
The food was amazing! Great wine list, beautifully set tables and very good service. My only complaint was that we asked for a quiet table and even though we were tucked in a corner, it was still VERY loud. We went for a romantic, quiet evening. Everything was perfect except it was just too loud so did not feel at all intimate. When we asked the manager if there were any quiet tables available for next time, he recommended a couple of different rooms but basically said we were there on a relatively quiet night (mid-week) and it doesn't get much quieter than that. Saddened because we thought we had found our perfect intimate celebration spot.
Had dinner at this French restaurant in Boca. Mostly an older crowd. Has a pleasant but boring atmosphere. The food is good but nothing to rave about considering the prices. Had a soft shell crab appetizer just so so and steak which was good but the fries were not crisp. The wines are overpriced.
My wife and I are "foodies" and frequent the better restaurants in North Broward and South Palm Beach Counties. Having been to La Nouvelle Maison several times before myself, I decided to take my wife here for her birthday. We decided to order a menu special- a soft shell crab dish. We both said that it was the very best such dish we have ever eaten at any restaurant including the many fine sea food restaurants we had each been to. The service including the bartender, was exemplary. This is a very special place to dine!
We have dined at La Nouvelle Maison sevrer times, We come back because of the high quality of food and service. We had the smoked salmon and citrus salad appetizers which were excellent and plated nicely. Our entrees were the fish special (similar to black grouper and the soft shell crab which were terrific recommendations fro our server Patrick. Patrick was very attentive and highly professional to ensure we enjoyed our dinner. We finished with the seasonal berry crepe a highlight of the meal.
For the second time, we have a wonderful experience at La Nouvelle Maison. Adam our server was attentive and very helpful. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and the ambience elegant. Though this restaurant is one of the more expensive options in Boca, it is well worth the price.
Was not memorable. Asked to sub Hendrix gin but did not happen. Brioche bread with foie gra was stale. Garnish was wilted. Brioche for steak tartar was not. Roquefort cheese with iceberg wedge for $15 tasted and looked like a cheap stella blue chz crumble. For the price point they need to pay more attention to detail and some integrity.
While we've only been here six times in the past 18 months, each time is as good or better than the last. Service and ambience are superior, and the preparation and presentation of each dish are exceptional. While we dine out frequently, we save La Nouvelle Maison as a 'special occasion' venue solely because it is so much better than most all other south Florida alternatives.
Service was excellent and the food was so delicious. We had onion soup in a few countries and different states before and so far this one was the BEST!!! We are going back again to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary this month. We love this restaurant and highly recommended!!!!
This was our second visit to this restaurant and it was just as good as our first visit. For a Thursday night the restaurant was on the slower side. Several tables of just couples and one table of a group of four. That group of 4 made more noise than all the couples from the time they were seated, somewhat poor room acoustics. We started the evening off with the salmon and escargot appetizers. Main courses, veal chop and the lobster fettacini, both excellent. The banana foster souffle was shared for dessert. This is not a cheap restaurant by any means, but very nice for a special occasion.
We are regular diners at La Nouvelle Maison and are fortunate to live near this outstanding restaurant. We have never had a bad meal there – it has always been outstanding. The food is innovative and delicious with interesting specials. This time we had the beet salad, rack of lamb the chocolate soufflé, and profiteroles. Everything was cooked to perfection and we had great service from Hymie and is team. It is worth the drive – you will not be disappointed.
The hostess totally missed the mark upon our arrival, souring the entire experience.
She kept us waiting over 30 minutes despite a confirmed reservation. No apologies or offer of a beverage while waiting. The server had a perturbed puss on her face the entire meal. Perhaps she was annoyed we brought a bottle of wine with us. $40 corkage fee (outrageous) was waived as we bought another bottle $60). Food was quite good, but expensive, which I don't mind if the service matches up. It didn't, hence only 2 stars. Not our first visit, but likely the last.
