We had a delicious and relaxing Father's Day dinner. We'll go back and recommend this place for delicious quiet dining.
Excellent service, very good escargot but the steak was too peppery and not very tender..The filet of sole was very food.....
An outstanding meal, as always. Excellent service and superb food.
Best Soft Shell Crabs in NYC!!! The food is always excellent!!! One of my favorites in NYC. Always friendly and welcoming. Highly reccommnend.
Lively service and delicious as always. My husband wanted sweetbreads for his birthday, and they were wonderful.
We like this restaurant but it wasn't as good as usual.
Wonderful Soft shell crab
A great Upper West Side restaurant.
La Mirabelle serves very good French bistro cooking at reasonable prices and offers a setting in
which one can have real conversation with the people with whom one is dining.
The service is excellent. If only we had more restaurants like it in the neighborhood.
This was our first visit to this restaurant but we will be back. It was charming, with good food and service in an warm atmosphere. And although it was reasonably busy on a Monday night, the noise level was low so that we could talk. A rare find anywhere and this will become one of our favorites on the UWS.
We had a great time at Mirabella. Our waitress was wonderful and funny which really added to the enjoyment of the evening. The food was very good. My friend and I had the roasted chicken and my husband opted for the bouillabaisse. They did not rush us out although they were pretty busy. Yes, we will return.
Wonderful Evening as always!
Our favorite resturant!
Pat and Dave
Wonderful service, good food, and blissfully quiet. You can actually carry on a conversation! :)
Great experience. Visiting from LA, Brought there by my brother who lives up the street. His 90th. Food was tastefully served. Staff pleasant & helpful in ordering.
Not rushed. Highly recommended.
La Mirabelle is continuously a welcome oasis in the noise and rush of NYC. The food and ambience are always superb as is the service.
I will continue to enjoy it in small groups are well as larger ones.
As always dining at La Mirabelle is always a gratifying experience
My favorite neighborhood French restaurant. LOVE IT!
Great food, great service.
I love this neighborhood favorite. Been going here for decades.
I never review restaurants on here, but La Mirabelle is uniquely wonderful. Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, a perfect place to have a quiet conversation. If you wish you were in an elegant bistro in Paris, but are actually on the upper west side, look no further.
Excellent food. Great service by knowledgeable staff
The best traditional old-school French restaurant on the Upper Westside. What a joy!
Love this place / wonderful art adorns the walls, lovely service, ambiance understated but cozy.
Fish and vegetables are overcooked. No need for this.
What a neighborhood Gem! We loved the story of this resturant. It has three generations of family working in the resturanr and much of the staff has been there since it opened about 40 years ago. The new owner is the daughter of the original owner and takes great pride in this resturant. The food was amazing, my husboand had the Herb Cruster Rack of Lamb and said it was the best he had ever had. I had the Special, Bouillabaisse which was also amazing. We even saved room for dessert, Peach Melba! Can't wait to go back next time we are in NYC!
A tiny place from the outside, ive never noticed it before. Inside it’s charming and extends far with an upstairs seating. The pate and goat cheese salad app were delicious. I had the sole with rice which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Waitress Danielle is the artist of all the paintings hanging in the restaurant and she also goes around and sings French songs to the customers. She’s fabulous! The only down part was dessert, the creme brûlée was disappointing, tasteless with a weird texture. I would definitely go back though.
Lovely setting, classic French food beautifully and tastefully prepared. Will definitely return!
Mirabelle is always the same - excellent. From the moment you enter this "French Bistro" you know you are welcome and are going to enjoy your meal.
A new York City treasure. Food has been super high quality over the 25 plus years I have been going there. The only down side is the super high noise level makes it difficult the have conversation.
The food was classic and delicious, and the service impeccable.
As indicated above the food, services, etc are excellent
Good food and service as usual. Chicken was ordinary. Steak and lamb very good. Plumb tart excellent. Low noise level
Do we could talk. Very enjoyable. Don’t love the Mother’s Day reduced menu tho
Fabulous food. Great service. Wonderful ambiance. I plan to return and would recommend this restaurant highly to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience.
Whenever we travel to New York City, my wife and I must have dinner at La Mirabelle. This quiet, quaint, and truly authentic French Bistro consistently prepares and serves delectable classic French Cuisine, and bosts an excellent wine list. Most of the staff are French, have been there for many years, and are charming, engaging, personable, helpful, and attentive, and they all take great pride in what they serve. La Mirabelle never disappoints.
I don't want to sing the praises of this gem of a restaurant too loud, because I want to have a table when I'm ready to go. It is a rarity in New York: fine food, welcoming atmosphere--and no pretense.
The food, service, ambiance are uniformly and consistently high. And the place is warm and welcoming. I feel like I'm going to a family gathering when I dine there.
I cannot recommend this place too highly--lest I be squeezed out by throngs envying my experience.
Lovely neighborhood gem. A place to have a nice romantic dinner without having to shout.
My brother-in-law’s birthday, such a special place to celebrate, the music, the food and great ambiance...love it.
Excellent soup de hour: split pea: very well prepared and delicious
Mussels also very well done, excellent white wine sauce; generous portions.
Good wine recommendation : Cabernet Sauvignon
My favorite neighborhood traditional French restaurant. Absolutely delicious food, and the nicest staff in NYC! Everyone is treated like family there!
Food was very good and presented well but not very hot. Service was excellent. Nice evening.
Wonderful place, amazing food. Everyone was so friendly and thoughtful, and the food is always amazing with generous portions.
Outstanding Service. Food was VERY French and out of this world. How great to finally find a fantastic restaurant on UWS!!
