La Mezzaluna is an Italian Restaurant located in the heart of downtown Princeton, NJ. We are your premier choice for exquisite dining and service. Using the finest and freshest seasonal local ingredients, our menu has earned its reputation for mouth-watering regional Italian cuisine and flavors.

    Lovely dinner! Excellent food, attentive wait staff and lively ambience. BYOB and the wine store immediately adjacent to La Mezzaluna has a wonderful variety of wine from which to choose. A gem of a restaurant!

    Lunch on 5/6/25. Calamari Fritti, Risotto Al Pesto, Ricotta Fritters were all very good. I would push the Risotto into the excellent category. Service was fine. Brought a bottle of Cabernet which paired nicely with the meal. The ability to BYO is always appreciated. Overall, a very pleasant experience. One of my favorite restaurants in Princeton.

    Food is excellent. The bread is outstanding! The service was perfect - prompt, did not rush us, and he was so kind. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Overrated. Better Italian options available in Princeton. Warm Duck Salad had shredded or dried pieces of duck. Disappointing. Eggplant Rollintini stood out, but a bit too much ricotta. Clams, mussels, scallops undercooked in Seafood Linguine. Marinara sauce tasteless. Reservation through Openttable, but not seated for 30 minutes after reserved time. Front desk folks seemed disorganized or overwhelmed. I was underwhelmed.

    Great place that is Byob. At peak hours it is very loud, keep that in mind.

    We always have a great time. Service is friendly and excellent. We never feel rushed. And everything we have ordered has been delicious. Duck salad is a favorite. The warm fresh bread is a nice complement.
