La Merise is a terrific restaurant. The food is fantastic - literally everything I have ever ordered is delicious. The staff is perfectly attentive and the ambience is the best in town. I love La Merise!
Great service, wonderful presentation, delicious food, nice atmosphere.
Whether you go for lunch or dinner, this is an excellent choice. The outdoor patio can get sunny and I didn't notice any umbrellas so wear hat/sunscreen if you sitting outside at certain time of day. I'm only sorry I didn't get dessert!
Great food.Service was spectacular! Pricing is very reasonable.
Nice, varied menu. Very good preparations. Service a little bit inconsistent.
Patio is lovely. Music was a little weird. Food is delicious. Wine selection is great
Absolutely loved this restaurant and will return. I felt like I was transported to France. The food was so flavorful and delicious.
La Merise is very reliable and dependable, both meant in the best way. For this visit, we went for Restaurant Week and thoroughly enjoyed having some of our favorite dishes there. Portions were fine though a bit smaller than a la carte - as it should be given the extra courses for the price-point - and the house wine is always a good way to "wash down" the food. Service was fine, Covid-19 protocols well-followed and the mix of clientele, of all ages, was good to see amongst all the covers. I overheard the next table (at a distance) saying how great everything was, apparently a first-time visit and I couldn't agree more.
I loved everything about the restaurant and I will definitely go back. I had the Beef Bourguignon with a side of Brocolini and Creme Brulee for dessert. The weather was perfect for sitting outside.
As always we were very pleased
Great place for weekend brunch. Always great food and service.
We have eaten at La Merise on many occasions. The food is consistently good. The atmosphere is relaxing. We missed this restaurant during the pandemic and are very happy that we can dine there now!
Wonderful service, traditional French cuisine, lovely experience.
One of our favorite restaurants! Delicious French food with beautiful presentation. Try the escargot, mussels, and beouf bourguignon. Simply incredible. Cozy, intimate atmosphere with a pleasant, attentive staff. Love love love...highly recommended!
everything was delicious. four people all agreed that their food was fantastic
I have never had a bad meal here and had the Cod that was on special and it was fantastic as was the service. Also highly recommend the French Onion Soup especially on colder days!
The lamb chops and oysters I had were excellent. Really the lamb chops the best I've had in a very long time. Wouldn't have minded something a little more than just plain olive oil and balsamic for my non-dairy bread dipping. But it was okay. Good meal quiet enough to talk.
Terrible service. No drink for 35 minutes after we were seated. No food until 45 minutes after we were seated. Wrong order came. Couldn’t wait to leave. So disappointed
Caesar was a wondeful waiter, very attentive from the minute we sat down! The food was excellent and pace perfect. This was our first dinner out with dear friends since getting our vaccines and we were delighted to have it at La Merise!!
We enjoyed a delicious GSM blend French wine, a delicious pate, beef bourginon, salad, creme brulee and dessert crepe. Service was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. We would love to dine here again.
Great food, lovely authentic French restaurant. Great attention to cleanliness which I appreciate these days!
Just a warm place with consistently good food and service.
Chose this restaurant for a special occasion. Started with 2 servers-1 in tableside training (which was annoying) and then a bit later was greeted by a 2nd server who was very good. Good indoor COVID rule compliance. Excellent food
I love this restaurant!!!!
Always consistent French. Nothing over the top and all as advertised
We had a lovely meal at La Merise. For the 1st course I had the house salad and my husband had the Caesar. Both were excellent, the greens, etc. were fresh and the dressings were perfect. For the main course I ordered the sea bass and my husband the steak frites. The Seabass had excellent creme fraiche and caviar, which enhanced an already delicious dish. My husband’s steak was done perfectly and the fries were crispy just the way he likes them. The portion sizes were generous so we took half home. I had the chocolate mousse for dessert. It was so good I wanted to order seconds. My husband had the bananas foster. The only negative was that the rum sauce could have been thicker.
We have been going here for years and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
If you are looking for a dining experience that is authentically Parisian, La Merise in Cherry Creek is the place to go. The food and the ambiance are authentically French. As the French would say, "C'est formidable!"
Great! Excellent service, very good dining experience, and warm, engaging ambience.
We love the "vibe" at LaMerise - chic and casual elegance, delicious and varied menu, excellent wine selection, attentive and efficient service. Our server, Anastasia, was the consummate pro making our dining experience even more special than expected. LaMerise has high standards and they make the entire experience seamless. One of our favorite places for a special occasion as this was.
The Onion soup was deep and rich and since just the single toasted slice of bread on top is never enough, they add croutons too.
The chef's omelette was simply amazing! Who would think that blue cheese would work so well?
The berry crepe dessert , stuffed with berries and whipped cream and drizzled with cream anglaise was exquisite.
French Onion Soup was “souperb”. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Excellent food, good service, overall wonderful experience.
La Merise is always great, and their trout was superb!
A great place for lunch, featuring French bistro cuisine.
A lovely setting. I did not care for the Escargot. It was prepared differently than before and the sauce overwhelmed the snails. Entree was also not a favorite for me but the others liked it. The preparation was probably fine - just not what I should have ordered.
Wonderful restaurant, fine French food, wonderful service
Comfortable and relaxing. The service was unhurried but not slow. The food was well flavored and the presentation was excellent, not overdone. Good menu choices offer an opportunity for return visits. We will come back.
If this is a repeat, forgive me but my internet connection was lost the first time around. Our reservation was earlier in the evening to escape large crowds and the decision was sound. Our appetizers (mussels and beet salad) were superb as was the service. Cocktails and wine suggestions were on point and a good pour (which is always appreciated).
Main courses were the veal and duck. Both were very good with outstanding sauces. Portions were as expected and served when expected. A very nice table with outstanding view to activity on the street which kept us entertained.
Pricing met expectations. Our overall experience was very good. Of particular note were our server and the appetizers. Those two aspects of our experience were better than outstanding. Mussels were the best I've ever had and our server was really good. She was prompt, courteous, attentive, and very professional. Too bad I didn't get her name because she is a definite value add to the restaurant.
We'll definitely visit La Merise again when in the Denver metro area and it was well worth the 20 minute drive from our Hotel.
