We tried a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. We even got two desserts, which we usually skip, and they were so worth it!

My nephew was visiting from Portland, OR, and I knew he would love it! We had the Pistachio salad , empanadas, the shrimp w/coconut mashed potatoes ( Sambal Goreng Udang), the chicken tikka masala and the Argentine beef. It was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Everything is brought to the table as soon as the dish is ready, so the food is hot when it is served. Service is attentive and gracious. We also had dessert: the Basque cheesecake and the chai accented flan- like custard. They, too, were delectable. This is my favorite restaurant and I always take visiting friends and relatives there for a memorable meal.

La Marenda is always an incredible experience, my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. Everything from the food to the service your ambiance is fantastic. I highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.

We always enjoy La Merenda— especially the Carbomb Cake! Service was excellent and the food was delicious.

Treated and Seated promptly. Plates and silverware put on table immediately. Then waited for 20 minutes without service. Notified the helpful hostess who had waitress come shortly. We then completed our drink and dinner order. Food and drinks came quickly. Food was good. We were twice questioned by the waitress about food quality which we were very positive about. After finishing we waited quite a while but finally asked for a dessert menu which came promptly. Then didn’t see waitress for 15 minutes without service. My wife went to hostess and paid bill without dessert. Valet parking was good and complimentary.

We always have the best experience at La Merenda. The menu is outstanding! We were adventurous this time and tried the goat dish - it was our favorite! Don’t ever hesitate to choose La Merenda. And don’t forget they have the best patio in the summer.

Fantastic sampling of food and the craft cocktails were delicious. The mushroom risotto was off the charts good.

The menu was amazing. Exactly what we were looking for. It was so hard to narrow down our selections. We just kept adding more and more plates to our order before finally calling it and deciding we will have to come back soon to try the rest!
