It was our first experience with La Masseria. We had a delicious meal there before heading to the theatre for a matinee. The food was fabulous, the service excellent and the atmosphere tranquil. Perfect spot to dine in the theatre district. Not touristy or overpriced like most options in the area. We had a great time even though it was in the middle of a nor’easter!
We ate here prior to seeing a Broadway show. The food was really good at a decent price. The waiter recommended a fantastic wine and made sure our food was timely so we could get to our show.
The service was excellent, Evano was our server, the wine was excellent, a Cabernet, the food, from the appetizers to the entrees were absolutely delizioso!!! Oh we had tiramisu and the cappuccino was super as well as the affogato.
We LOVE Masseria. We dine here every time we are in town.
The service is wonderful, cozy ambience, and delicious food.
The Buccatini is the BEST!
Small space but pretty and the service and food more than compensate. Location in 6th Ave makes it ideal for the theater district or to access most places in midtown without being in the busy Tines Square area. Range of dishes and tasty sides. If you’re uncomfortable being seated close to other diners this is not the place for you, but if your company is good who cares?
Wife found a olive pit in her salad. They didnt charge us for it but it left a bad taste in our mouth
Wonderful food and service
Food was as fantastic as ever. Will be going back for sure!
Excellent Southern Italian food, stellar service, lively crowd!
Enjoyed by all
Always a fabulous meal. The seafood salad (a special) was particularly good, as was the chocolate/almond torte - the best I've ever had.
6 of us for dinner after a show, the staff was very accommodating and the food excellent, especially the rabbit!
Our third time here, and always perfect
The ambience and food as well as the wait-staff merged as the perfect evening
Delicious authentic Italian!!! Great atmosphere and service.
Our lunch was absolutely fabulous. It is one of my favorite restaurants!
We stop at La Masseria every time we’re in the city. It never fails us.
A wonderful Italian cusine when on Broadway. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by pretty much italian speaking staff, the atmosphere was eclectic and this place was vibrant. The food was authentic, just like visiting Northern Italian.
Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone when visiting New York City, then treat yourself to a Broadway Show(A Bronx Tale) steps away after dinner at this wonderful NYC restaurant.
Will definitely return without hesitation
Ciao è Auguri
The food is not good. Everything we had looked really good, but had absolutely zero flavor. My girlfriend's food was borderline inedible. I tried her lobster and it was like a rubber band. Servers were nice enough.
It was the worst Italian that I have ever had in NY and I have been dining here for over 30 years.
Excellent fresh food with great service. Lovely atmosphere. A bit noisy for conversation
La Massaria is a must visit restaurant for us whenever we are in NYC - best authentic Italian in Times Square for sure! Can't wait to come back for more - and super-excited to try their new restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens, FL :)
Fabulous food, great service, lovely atmosphere
Great ! Had a great family dinner! Would definitely be back again.
Great place to eat before a show. They will let you move at your own pace. Seems like a lot of restaurants in the city try harder to turn tables.
One if the best Italian restaurants in New York City.
Nice atmosphere, great service, and tasty food. Enjoyed a business lunch there - nice place to dine.
One of best restaurants in theatre district
Everything about our meal today was exquisite. The service superb and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The Food was exceptional. The Service was fantastic A Very comfortable atmosphere.
Our server was preoccupied with serving a six person party at the next table. Took a long time to place a drink order. Even longer to place and receive our food order. Food was tepid when served. The waiter was rewarded with a large gratuity from the adjacent table as the waiter thanked them profusely in Italian. I also speak Italian - which our waiter did not realize - pecatto. The poor slow service compromised the quality of the experience.
The ribeye and gnocchi were outstanding. The service was very attentive and helpful.
An INCREDIBLE evening out. The food and service was terrific. My husband and I split the octopus salad and the sunday gravy pasta. Plenty of food, great suggestions by our waiter Omar. Definitely recommend this restaurant
Great service and attention to customers. Well presented and prepared dishes. Busy time yet we were not forgotten at any time. The quality of the food rivals some of the better known restaurants.
Nice frito misto to share as a starter. Spaghetti with lobster sauce was very ordinary. Big gloop of spaghetti stuck together with some rather thin sauce. Sort of how it ends up at home not at a good Italian restaurant.
Good food nice ambience and great location
One of the most disappointed customer
Was totally overrated. The help were not very lingual and did not know much about the menu
26 dollar pasta a joke
Great food. Though the chairs are alittle weak being that they use folding chairs. Eating that pasta you need a nice firm chair to dig in 👍🏻
The food is delicious and service is great!
