Sat upstairs in a quiet area overlooking downstairs. Food and service was excellent. Excellent sized servings for very good prices. My wife and myself have been there twice and would go again.
Very nice atmosphere and good service. Food was very good.
Very over priced for what you got.
Sunday sauce- dry mini meatballs with one piece of tiny sausage and short ribs that were non existent. The price- $32.50, should be embarrassed charging this for a bowl of “ok” pasta
Also had a salad for $18.50- no meat, basically just greens and dressing.
This is the perfect place for a romantic dinner.
Great food and drink, excellent service by all staff.
We will be back. My husband is planning on taking clients there next time he’s in NYC.
I LOVE this place. Great food, reliable service.
Great food and service. Not a long wait. We had reservations. Nice table along wall.
Always excellent food and service!! I love aall of their locations. I esspecially like the theater district site because of the decor an atmosphere.
Only suggestion...play Italian music not modern music with a loud back beat. Complete the amazing food and service with beautiful music.
This restaurant was recommended by a friend and we couldn't have been more thankful. The restaurant was full of people enjoying themselves and the food. Our wait staff were helpful and knowledgeable. The food was exceptional. My husband is a muscles fanatic and just loved his appetizer (and it was huge). We truly had a memorable evening and would definitely go back.
Slow service food was average at nest overpriced even for NYC
An absolutely wonderful restaurant that is amazingly consistent. We no longer live in New York City but return almost every time we visit because we can count on a great meal!
The only thing that is bothersome is the noise. It is always full and consequently, always noisy.
They did a great job accommodating us before a show on Broadway.
Outstanding food and excellent service always makes for a great evening out!
Good food but heavy on the salt
Ravioli were not edible due to saltiness
Too loud as well
Service was outstanding, the waiter team was attentive and professional throughout entire meal. Great wine list and fresh pasta. The burrata appetizer was some of the lightest and best we've had, and the tomatoes were very flavorful for this time of year. The bronzino was well prepared and delicious.
Wine selection was vast and priced accordingly. Dinner was wonderful. Veal chop was perfect.
I thought the food was just okay and it was very expensive. Our waiter was a bit snippy as well.
We have come here for both dinner and lunch and both were superb. The pasta is amazing, the scallops and clams were delicious. Our favorite food to suggest to anyone is the fried zucchini, it is enough to share and the best I have ever had! They sang and celebrated my husband's birthday with us. They are accommodating to kids too. All around an amazing place!
The Masseria salad was plentiful and varied. Wines by the glass were priced appropriately and good. IT s hard to find a good glass of wine for $13. The pasta with eggplant and mozzarella was delicious. The fried zucchini was perfect. The tartufo dessert was wonderful. We loved this restaurant. The staff is gracious and we always look forward to our meal. Its is our go to restaurant in the theater district.
The food was inedible. I had the linguine with tomato and lobster. It was too salty. One small piece of lobster the size of a quarter. I had three bites and couldn't finish the rest. The waiter didn't come by to check. The bus boy cleared the dishes before I could get the attention of waiter. It was the worst dining experience I had in NYC.
Lovely after theater dinner spot. Service attentive without being intrusive.
I had been here, previously, Food was adequate. Not need to dine here, again.
Great food. Was very pleased with this restaurant and will be going again.
Great food, wine and service.
We had a lovely penne dish with bacon and smoked mozzarella and a frutti di mare with faro and white beans. We will definitely be coming back.
This was the fourth time I’ve dine here. Wonderful never disappoints!!!!!
Awesome Italian restaurant!!
Phenomenal meal as always!
We went to dinner with our friends from Milan. They really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. We had a delicious dinner and spent a lot of time at the table without any sense we were staying too long. This was our second visit and we liked it as much as the first time,. We will be back!
Food was great! We were in the city for a show and they made sure the food came out in time for us to make it. Would definitely recommend
The chicken with leeks dish was overdone and flavorless.
I went to La Masseria on the back off the recommendations on open table. Good food, good service all round a good night. If I ever return to New York I will be visiting again!
Really cozy atmosphere, perfect on a chilly evening. Restaurant was bustling on a Tuesday night. I met a work colleague and we both ordered basic salad and pasta/eggplant/mozzarella dish. We enjoyed our meals, but setting was star of show. Service was very timely. We could’ve been asked about refills on our drinks, but they probably were less interested since we were not having wine/cocktails. Would recommend to others staying in the area.
Hands down Best Italian food in the neighborhood!
Great staff and service eager to serve you. Overall great experience, definitely coming back.
Everything was very nice. Would have preferred a little more time between courses but all in all it was a wonderful meal.
Wonderful dining, excellent service ! A get together with a family member and as we wanted to take our time, the staff was terrific and did not rush us at all! I have dined many times at La Masseria and highly recommend this restaurant!
A perfect Italian Resaturant. For me the best in NYC.
Lamb shank cooked to perfect. Rabbit was truly outstanding. Fell off the bone and the sauce tasted incredible. Still my favorite restaurant in NYC.
Consistently superb food with A++ service. La Masseria has been our "go to" theater district restaurant for over a decade and we have never been disappointed!!
Everyone loved the seafood and pasta that we ordered. Great location in the theatre district in NYC.
Are at La Massaria on Sat evening. Large group. Had a nice meal in the rear of restaurant. Derive was great right up until dessert. 30
Minutes to get 3 pieces of pie seemed very excessive.
Other than that, it was a very nice experience. Food was very good and our waiter Joel was excellent.
