The food was good although the selection of food selection.A was limited, as usual , for Restaurant Week.I was pleasantly surprised that a dessert was included for the price of the meal.
Waiters were friendly and helpful although service was a bit slow.
Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our meal.
Had no issues - the food was good. Portions were small for an Italian restaurant. They don’t offer a discount for parking despite what the website says. Location was great.
We went because of many positive reviews. Food was ok, but nothing out of the ordinary. I had the special (fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and shrimp). It was bland and contained like 5 shrimp and 5 mushrooms. My friends food was also not as good as expected. Service was incredibly slow. Server brought the wrong order, forgot about our drinks. He seemed overwhelmed with inside and outside tables. They need more help. I would not come back here. Unfortunately I do not recommend.
Muy buen servicio
Food was really good! Restaurant week deal made it good value. Drinks were a little overpriced, but some of the best cocktails I’ve tried in the city. Really nice servers and great service. Right near Times Square, but noise level really wasn’t bad even sitting outside.
Fish very good choice and the Masseria salad is very nice
great food great atmosphere great service. loved it
Had the Restaurant Week lunch special. It was great!
Always a favorite meal. Service is outstanding. So happy to see them thriving post pandemic.
Met my girlfriend for dinner here. Service was excellent and very attentive. Food was delicious, we had the fried calamari and shrimp, the burrata special with smoked prosciutto. Then i had a stuffed veal chop special for my entree and my gf had fettucine with eggplant and mozzarella. Very good. Dessert was good as well, would highly recommend!
John Carlo treated us FANTASTICALLY. We had tremendous food, wine, service and were treated like Family. This was a tremendous EXPERIENCE. THANK YOU!!
By far one of our favorite restaurants in the Times Square area. The flavors are incredible. I can never pass on the gnocchi and this time they were even better than the last time I remember them. The sauce was perfection. We also had the fettuccine with the lobster and it was a culinary delight! Everything here is done with great care and served with love. The service is amazing. This was our first time trying of the goat cheese cheesecake. It was outstanding! Hands down my favorite dessert and I can't wait to come back and have it again.
Food and service were excellent. Exceeded my expectations.
The food was very good and the service was wonderful. The black truffle risotto was the special and it was the best risotto I’ve ever had.
Gioseppi was our waiter. Fantastic. Food was wonderful!! Definitely going again, ASAP!
We had an early reservation before a show, so it was pretty quiet when we first arrived. As time went by, the restaurant got busy, but the noise level was still just fine. We had a couple of nice cocktails. We had the eggplant cakes for appetizer - they were good. I had the Orecciette - it was good, not exciting. Service was excellent.
Great birthday celebration. We chose to eat inside bc of the humidity. We had Scialatielli alla Siciliana (Homemade short cut thick fettuccini pasta with eggplant, tomato sauce & fresh mozzarella cheese) and
Agnolotti Piemontesi (Homemade large Veal & Parmesan cheese
tortellini with wild mushrooms sauce)…
Both delicious…. plus a “birthday” ricotta cheesecake. Good waiter service and expected meal prices for NYC.
Hands down the best restaurant in all of Times Square. Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious. The decor is rustic and cozy. The service is top notch. All around just an excellent dining experience. Can't wait for our next Broadway show so we can dine at La Masseria again!!
My son and I went for lunch. The food was exceptional, and service attentive.
The food was delicious, selection nice, and ambiance good.
Amazing food and service. All round pleasure.
I didn't know this restaurant at all but they were SO accommodating and friendly. We had a show to catch and they made it so easy as of course we were late! we only wish we had more time to savor the atmosphere with an apertif after dinner and more time to savor the fantastic preparation of the delicious food that was served to us. I would absolutely recommend this little gem to anyone visiting NYC.
Best home made pasta and gravy in NYC!
Service was impeccable
Our meal exceeded our experience and expectations in every way: unequivocally delicious. Our server was a paragon of cordiality, and made us feel so welcome and looked after. Combined with the tasteful romance of the decor and atmosphere, it all amounted to nothing less than a perfect experience. Will come again!
Authentic Italian food. We loved it.
A great place to talk. Not loud like many restaurants.
The wait staff was attentive and helped us with our wine selection. The food was amazing. We really enjoyed our dinner in NYC.
We chose this restaurant as our pre- show dinner. Food was excellent. We had the baked calamari pasta bolognese and pasta with eggplant and mozzarella. Service was attentive but not intrusive I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I am so bummed to say this ... but had been so excited for La Masseria and we were really disappointed. I've tried to "score" a reservation here a few times in the past, and never could. Then, Springsteen on Broadway, and totally surprised we got a reservation at La Masseria (duh! Of course we could get in - Broadway isn't "open" yet!!). Had heard the food was just incredible, and ... nope. The ambience and the staff were amazing. Place was maybe half full (but it was early). Perhaps we just ordered the wrong things, and we certainly had super high expectations. As a starter, the fried calamari / shrimp was ok not fantastic. A little bit undercooked and the calamari was a bit chewy (the red marinara sauce alongside WAS delicious). We had the ribeye w fries and the sliced pork chop w/ truffles. Ribeye was tough/chewy and not super flavorful which was such a disappointment (and we order it all the time elsewhere, ie DelFrisco's, so we know what a great ribeye is). Fries were flat-out terrible not even worth eating. Pork chop was pretty good -- but again we were expecting GREAT. Maybe we should have ordered the pasta but we were all trying to go light on the carbs. Again let me rave about the staff and service (extremely attentive!!), the ambience, the location. We may go back to give it another chance, just because there must be a reason everyone raves about it, and perhaps it was just an off night ... BUT we also felt for that price it should have been wonderful. It was pricey.
Excellent dinner in a very nice restaurant. However, our waiter was over scheduled. Looked like he was moving as fast as he could, but couldn't keep up.
Amazing Italian Great Hemingway Daiquiri Lovely wine selection Linguine with clams as an appetizer and frisée salad wit Parmesan and bacon Perfection All the entree delicious topped off with Insanely good tiramisu I’ve eaten a lot of Italian in NY and this is one of the best Well done!
Place and food was amazing. Bourbon drink definitely recommend.
My experience here was very pleasant, great vibe, great food lovely time.
Great food, service was slow at first but overall a great birthday dinner.
Great Italian meal. My daughters loved the spaghetti and I had a lovely grilled chicken and arugula salad.
Delicious. Ate outside so the sidewalk view wasn’t the best but the food was outstanding.
It was our firt time at this rest and we fell in love. We were celebrating our 5th anniversary and the night was perfect. Service is amazing and the food was delicious ( ravioli and chicken parmigiana). Our server Joel was the best. We highly recommend La Masseria.
4 different entrees all delicious. wait staff very attentive and good covid protocols.
Great Food Great Atmosphere Great Staff! Good to be back in the Theatre district with this wonderful establishment.
Great service and food
Great orchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe. Good wine selection.
