Food was amazing.
Very good all the way around. One quibble, the portions were a little small.
Exceptional Italian menu and service! Highly recommended for those that enjoy this type of food! Exceptional stalk and nice decor. Our family had a very enjoyable and relaxing dinner!
Fantastic food and service was exceptional. Right in theater district makes it a great place to eat before or after your show.
Always fresh food perfectly prepared. Waiter offered great suggestions
Daughter’s birthday and family trip
When visiting New York City we make La Masseria our first stop, we’ve never been disappointed with the meal or service. The Lobster Fettuccine is outstanding!
Very attractive and charming space. Very good food. Home made pasta in the bolognese with sausage, meat balls and short ribs. We split as an appetizer. Veal milanese with mozzarella split as main course. Portion was ample and tasty. Food is expensive, but not outragous. Wonderful service. Thoroughly enjoyable.
A hot July evening , table of 7. Food was ok, very rich, but not spectacular and pretty expensive. A bit disappointing
Good service great food, a bit expensive. Pleasant atmosphere
Arrogant unfriendly waiter, poor service.
Wonderful restaurant in theater district
Great food! Terrific service!
Food was quite good, menu was interesting, good specials and the service was very good. The restaurant felt like Italy.
The waiter not personable and felt we were being rushed even though the restaurant was half empty
The best Italian restaurant in NYC.
We often eat at La Masseria when we travel to NYC to see a show. This time, I was with three other friends for lunch before seeing Hadestown. La Masseria never disappoints - the cocktails are excellent, the wine list is great, and the food is beyond compare. Our waiter, Guiseppe, was delightful - friendly, helpful and super attentive. We have never been disappointed at La Masseria!
Great food and service. Definitely worth the money and I will definitely return
Very accommodating, attentive, fast service, delicious food
I took 5 member of my staff to La Masseria for lunch. The décor, service and food were excellent! We had a very enjoyable time. I highly recommend this restaurant.
My friend and I both had pasta and they are superb. We also love the bread they serve. Service is nice overall but the server could be busy to help us in time.
Great food. Lovely place
Great good. Wonderful outdoor patio. I would eat here again!!!
Food was very good. Location great. Service was a little slow
Food was okay, not as good as we remembered. Prices are high for pasta.
Overall our party of nine was delighted. I've been to La Masseria many time and alway had the Orrechette Barese Vecchia. All other dishes both appetizers and entrees were great. Only glitch was our waiter Eddie was a bit inattentive. We had to initiate most things. Menus, appetizers, ordering etc.
Anniversary dinner that was amazing!
Great place for pre theatre dinner - super speedy delicious food and staff fantastic!
2nd visit in a month, both were pre-Broadway matinee, both for five people. Again, service was the primary issue, one person got the wrong meal, but due to time constraints, made no fuss. He liked what he had, BTW. Had one special diet person who had spoken to the chef in advance, and was satisfied with her meal. The food was very good, as it was on our first visit. They do a very fine job with seafood.
Overall it is a fine choice in the Theater District.
Vincenzo was an outstanding server
The restaurant can be crowded pre-theater, but we were dinning at 7:45pm so all theater goers had cleared out and we missed the hustle and bustle of that time. Our wine was great, salad of frissee was crisp, flavorful and fresh. We also ordered the fish special of the day, which we shared. More than enough for two as the portion was quite generous. Cooked to perfection over wonderfully sauteed spinach. By 9:30pm the restaurant started to fill again with post theater diners.
From the moment you walk in, you feel as you stepped into a building from Italy. The food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. The staff were knowledgeable in the menu, excited about the ingredients, which make the food even better. Highly recommended by many New Yorkers. I am glad we took their advice.
Everything was tremendous. The Corniglio is done old school as is the broccoli rabe. Best Italian restaurant in NYC.
Food was expensive. 20.00 for a salad with no protein? But.great service and wonderful flavors..clam linguini was wonderful!
Lively, upscale restaurant. Friendly, accommodating staff. Excellent food.
I have never had a bad meal here. The burrata is out of this world! Pasta is always a good choice and their specials never disappoints!! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are seeing a show
A friend and I enjoyed a pre-theater lunch at La Masseria. The soft shell crabs were a special and we both enjoyed them in their meunière. We also shared a salad Masseria as our appetizer. We enjoyed the crusty bread and shared a wonderful tiramisu for dessert. It was a special and delicious meal!
Food was amazing and so was the service !
Always my favorite place pre theatre. Food delicious and the specials are always delicious. Would highly recommend.
Great overall experience. Very quiet comfortable atmosphere. Outstanding food and great service. Loved it
