Voted "best outdoor dining in the tri-state area" there is no better place in New York City to enjoy great food and amazing cocktails right on the water. Open to the public from May-September. Weekend reservations are recommended. Parking is limited.

despite reading many unfavorable reviews, we had a great time. Waitstaff was timely and pleasant. Food and drinks were delicious. Will definitely go back and tell others to try despite the negative reviews out there.
Food was ok, overpriced. View was impressive! Service was horrible. Wait staff huddled together chitchatting instead of attending to customers
German Gold Credit Card was Not acepted, so we had to pay cach
Had a great time, enjoy every minute of it. Must go with friends or on date. This place is vibrant you will enjoy every minute of it
Drinks were great, food just OK, but service was terrible! Waited 1.5 hrs for a calamari appetizer at 3:30 in the afternoon when not even half of the tables were occupied! We got up to leave without even having dinner when one of the crew promised the service will get better if we stayed for dinner. 18% gratuity was included, so little incentive to stay on top of things....drove 1.5 hrs each way for that?! No, thanks
While the meal was very good and the setting spectacular, the service was somewhat lackadaisical; we had a 5 p.m. reservation, but they didn't open for seating until 5:15. The music is very loud.
Great restaurant. You can advertise your buisness on my website ikriate.me. planning for occasion.
I’ve been here before, was very disappointed this time around. I made reservations and they never mentioned yo me that their beach area was closed which was the main purpose of me choosing la Marina to celebrate my birthday. I left after the appetizer and went elsewhere
Waited our food for 45min, until we asked the waitress if this was normal (and the answer was “yes”). Asked about our food after another 15min when we realized that there had been a problem (they forgot?). When the main course arrived it was embarrassing: the fish (very small portion) was in a dish without anything else coming with it. One hour waiting for that?! We were then informed that we would have not been made pay for the dishes that arrived late...really?! We asked for side dishes that arrived once we had almost finished our main. When we asked for two desserts, one was the one we had ordered the second was something else, because our choice had finished. Never seen that you get something else without even being asked. They at least did not make us pay for the dessert we had not ordered. Bottom line: the manager didn’t even show up to apologize. The minimum for a ruined special occasion dinner would have been the whole dinner being offered...but not! They were even expecting the tip!
Went there for my boyfriends bday waiter came right away asked us for our order 3 minutes after seating us I couldn’t believe there was no chicken entree which was weird but we ordered and waited 1 hour 15 minutes for our food the waiter would go MIA they eventually came over and said they were going to take care of us the waiter said we were going to get free dessert but we didn’t want it we were full but we waited another 30 minutes and NOTHING so we left our check and cash on the table and left nice way of accommodating us..... THE VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL THE LIGHTING WAS ROMANIC....
The food was cold and bad service ..... I got a reservation and I wait 20 minute to sit .....
Love the view, service from host to server was friendly.
It was a great experience, the place was nice, they play different kinds of music. And the food was good.
Went for a birthday celebration, we all had a good time , the birthday girl totally enjoyed herself, it was her first time there. Which made the overall experience wonderful
I was there with two of my friends. First time for all of us and the food was delicious. The scenic view of the Hudson River and GW Bridge - beautiful. Service was excellent and we will be back.
I would have given 5 stars were it not for the service we received. We were seated immediately, and received water to our table within 3 minutes. Our server didn't come to the table for about 15 minutes after and there were few people in the restaurant at that time. Once she approached the table, she didn't introduce herself and she was looking at her tablet, no eye contact was made. We gave her the order and it took 20 minutes to receive the appetizer. The appetizer was raw oysters, again there was not a lot of people in the restaurant. I used to be a server and that was not good service. She checked on us 2 times and we were there for 90 minutes. Overall the food was great and the space and ambiance was awesome I would go back, I would just have a different server.
Overall I enjoyed myself. The view is beautiful right around sunset, however indoor lighting is gorgeous as well. I didn’t know my server’s name, and it seemed like my boyfriend had to call him over before we were served. I asked to package my food, and when I got home I noticed my lobster mac and cheese ( which was delicious!!!) was missing. Note to self, if you can’t package your food yourself, eat it before you leave. The shrimp and scallops are a little too salty by the way. I asked for special dessert for our anniversary as well, but was disappointed when it didn’t work out. I wish I was told ahead of time, that what I asked for wouldn’t be possible. Music was great! Management was friendly as well.
Very bad service. Tip is included in the bill so they make no effort. Food took about an hour and no apologies and they made a mistake on the bill charging me twice for an item. Waiter was rude.
There is definitely a new chef in the kitchen because the food is now mediocre. Disappointed with the lobster Mac and new Salmon on the menu.
Server was absent in the dining area, some food portions were like warm at best (even the replacement portions), and the price was way too much for the food.
Manager on duty was accommodating to some extent, although I would have still paid full price, but the dining experience just wasn’t there.
I would definitely go back for drinks and the vibe as it is an awesome looking venue...very spacious, outdoor seating, next to the water. And the DJ was doin’ it!!!!
Loved it. Me and my girlfriend’s 2 year anniversary took place at La Marina. And we were happy that we chose the right place.
The menu is surprisingly limited and the quality of the food was fair. The outdoor ambience on the river was beautiful. The music was a tad too loud for dining.
Very nice view , music needs to be updated a bit but overall it was good time spent with my wife
Food was mediocre, if your going to charge Manhattan prices the food needs to match the pricing. Have been here a few times but won't be rushing back. Our starter arrived the same time as entree, service was very slack on top of it considering it wasn't busy, have to say a complete let down for over priced food.
Wonderfully prepared and seasoned fish and vegetables!
Worst service ever!!!!! Not planning to come back ever!! And I would never recommend this place to anyone I know. Is so sad, because the view is amazing, but my experience there was horrible.
We were never sat at a table despite our reservation. We waited 20 minutes and then another 20 before being told we would still need to wait. “Rude hostess” would be an understatement. She was horrible. Felt extremely unwelcome. I’ve visited this restaurant before but at least the food and service were both mediocre last time.
The service wasn’t that great. The host sat us down and we waited for at least 25 minutes for a waiter to come by. He never passed by to check on us and see if we needed anything else but was on top of all of his other tables. Everytime we tried getting his attention he would avoid us. On top of that he messed up our order and our food didn’t come out the way we wanted it. But it was still good. Then when we finished our food we waited 45 minutes and tried to get his attention to give us our check. We had to ask the waiter that was waiting tables in the outside area to give us our check. It was a great chill place but their service ruined our experience.
Nice ambiance food was delicious, a little pricey though.
Great experience with the exception to security posted at the front gate. Not very welcoming, even though the venue was empty at the time, unless you had a reservation you can't step into this place.
Luckily we had a booking, have to believe there must be reason for this gate keeper, but the barricades are a tad unwelcoming
Great experience. Good vibes. Great customer service. Good drinks
There was conflicting music coming from the dining area and a separate events area that was very annoying. They should turn one off. Service is poor and they sneak an 18% service charge on to the bill so beware. I wouldn’t have topped that amount. Wait staff seemed not to know what to do. Drinks were very watered down.
Service was excellent, brunch menu sub par. Ambience is great.
Awesome venue. Friendly service. Will definitely return and recommend.
It’s always the same: the food isn’t great. Nothing screams wow when you taste it, but the views are beautiful and the ambience is always on point. It’s a toss up here: definitely don’t come for the food... and the drinks are midtown pricey.
Iced coffee was warm, no ice.
Hot entree was room temperature.
Brunch was mediocre.
Ambiance along waterfront was only exceptional reason to be there.
I’ve been taken family and friends to The Marina for years. It is a very special place. The view to the GW Bridge is fabulous. Food is great 👍 in general. My favor appetizer is the steamed mussels (delicious) with a glass of 🍷..a perfect combination to finish your day.☺️..Hope it will continue serving us for many years to come.. 💕
Relax place, good food, friendly people, nice place
The worse experience ever, the service stinks. Management should hire more quality employees. Server and busser arguing over who needs to clean the table right in front of the clientele.
The only good thing was the view. We arrived at 430 and waited at the lounge area until the restaurant opened at 5pm. Even though it was empty the service sucked. Waiters were not attentive and had no clue what was going on. I guess they don’t communicate with eachother. The menu sucked ! Not much variety. They didn’t even have chicken as an option for an entree. They didn’t even have crayons available to entertain the children. If I wanted a grill sandwich I would of had to go back and sit by the lounge because it’s two different menus. The only one doing their job right was the guy going around serving water. He needs a raise! It’s just ridiculous. Never again.
