La Mar by Gastón Acurio Ratings and Reviews
Very dissaponted by the quality of the food
I have dined at Gastón restaurants in Peru and this one is quite frankly terrible compare to them.
My second dish which was black pasta combined with other things was uneatable
I hope he visits Miami and fixes things or else will be another story of a great Chef that commercialized his name without quality control
Delicious food! Everything we tried was amazing! We were there for the Sunday Brunch.Service was also excellent! The view seating outside is really nice, although the day was really hot so maybe next time we would seat inside!
The all you can drink Piscos were also delicious!
Really recommend the Sunday Brunch! Hope we will be back soon!
I want to congratulate and thanks for your service. The staff helped me to propose marriage to my fiancee, created a great atmosphere, the service was amazing (Brian attended us) and I really appreciate the support given for my proposal.
Thanks for all, Alvaro & Ana
The Miami Spice menu does not worth to go, the selections are poor, only 2, the veal cheek had no flavor.
The high prices do not correspond with the service, like no change of silverware between dishes, and they carried the ice cream to the table within a very unpleasant styrofoam big box.
I had visited Gaston & Astrid in Lima and wanted to see if his place here in Miami was any good. It is a beautiful location with breathtaking views. We had top notch service. We were 4 and we had the Miami Spice menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the meals. It's a definite go back to place. Lima has my heart, I can't wait to go back.
We dined at La Mar on a weeknight. The restaurant is located inside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and was pretty full for a Tuesday night. We sat outside on a lovely terrace although it was quite hot. The terrace and view were spectacular, the service was not. We ordered off the Miami Spice menu. Portions were tiny and we only saw our server once or twice during the meal. Much better options available for Miami Spice dinners!
