Food and ambiance wasn’t anything I’d try again.
We were surprised that a Disney hotel restaurant could be so good. The salmon and the chicken were some of the best meals we’ve ever had!!
Very overpriced. The risotto special with scallops was very good (scallops were perfectly seared).
One of Orlando’s best, great food but most importantly superior staff. Debra in the bar and Rusty in the restaurant are the best!! Thanks for great evening!
They made our 21st anniversary very special. Food was good as expected. But the quality of the service put this place over the top for us
Kristin (from California) took great care of us. Food was superb, Pork chop was out of this world. It was our anniversary and they brought us out a desert sampler that was absolutely amazing!!! Fantastic experience! Highly recommend!
Took My Wife for her birthday to "La Luce", located at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. We were delighted with our experience. We were met by Rachel Kapeiner, General Manager, and taken to our table. Our waiters, Nela and Luke, were very attentive and cordial. They looked after our every need and answer all of our question related to the menu. While we experience the quite and fresh atmosphere of the restaurant. We ordered a " Fritto Misto" for our appetizer, loved the mix of shrimp, fried vegetable and sweet onions. For our entree, enjoyed "Eliche alla Lima", pasta with a crunchy delightful meat. I had the "Seared Salmon", which melted like butter, delicious. The quality of our food and the attention from the personnel made our visit a great birthday present and an invitation to return. I highly recommend it.
A nice restaurant that absolutely believes in friendly and professional service. They actually have two professionals attend to your table. We are foodies who live and work in Germany and Italy and this restaurant made us feel like we were there but with a distinct American feel. Very happy that we chose to eat at this establishment for the evening. Have fun.
We have dined here with family 4x, at a hosted wine/pairing dinner, and once by myself traveling through; each time offered something special. Let the staff help you order and you won't be disappointed! The Caesar Salad (sans anchovies), I felt, was one of the best I've ever tasted! Dinner for 4 with 3 wine drinkers and 1 shared dinner, 3 desserts, 2 appetizers, ran about $250.00. A treat for sure, but never, ever disappointed! Love La Luce!
Very accommodating. We had a large group and numbers kept changing. Great food and service. Very convenient right off lobby.
Went for dinner while visiting Disney World. Had a great meal, good service. Well worth the Uber ride from our hotel!
Always great! The service is wonderful- friendly, attentive, informative. The food always is outstanding- I love this place!
The food was dessert was amazing.
I highly recommend their pizza pasta with meatballs.
Our server was incredible.
Family get together.
Service and food were first class.
Can’t wait to go back at the earliest opportunity.
We ate here while on vacation staying nearby. The atmosphere does not say "kid friendly", but the staff were excellent and very accommodating with our 4 young children. They put the kids' orders in right away and did not rush the adults through dinner. A great experience!
Food and service were great.
On vacation. Limited menu. Service is slow. But that could be because it’s a resort restaurant. But it was really slow.
We had a lovely time.
One word - excellence
We eat at this restaurant each time we are in town. The food is always very good, but service is inconsistent. I would say that one time in the last 6 times we have dined at this restaurant have we had stellar service.
It seems as though their waiters have too many tables and cannot dedicate the amount of time necessary to give great service. This last experience we waited a very long time for a dessert and coffee offering, check and payment of check.
Very disappointed with the dinner experience overall. The food was OK but not anything special. Prices were extremely high for the food and service. The waiter tried to be nice but even she was embarrassed for the time it took to them to brink our food. The soup we ordered came almost right away after we ordered but then the main dish took almost one hour to come that was totally unacceptable!! I had a good expectation from the reviews we read but overall it was not a good dinner experience!!
Delicious food, sat outside, saw fireworks friom Disney, and great service.
This is not our first time dining at La Luce, we love this place and love the food. Thank you Rachel and Candice and all the staff. See you soon.
Great time with friends
We arrived at Luce, the service was friendly and the food was good. Prices were on the higher end for the United States. The downside was the atmosphere, lights was too bright (and yes the restaurant is called Light) and yes we were in an hotel but a room can be made more intimate and here no effort were made. Overall the food was good with good ingredients and considering that we were overnighting in Orlando I believe it was one of the better option available.
Food is extraordinary at La Luce. With all of our dishes, it was evident that the kitchen strives to perfect every detail with the flavors and texture of everything they serve. Highly recommend!
Insofar as our schedule allows, my wife and I head over to Bonnet Creek and enjoy Valentine's Day dinner at La Luce; as with everything they do, they make V Day special. We started with some prosecco' Chef Alberto surprised us with a heart-shaped house-cured "lipstick" salmon. The salmon was cured along with some beets, which made the edges red. It was - hands down - the BEST salmon we've ever had. It is on the regular app menu. We moved on to house salads - my wife had the Tricolore, and I had the warm cauliflower salad with imported cannellini beans. My wife had the salmon and unctuous Brussels Sprouts, and I had the Vesuvio ai Funghi pasta - it was outstanding - house made pasta, truffle cheese, mushrooms...a real treat. We finished up with La Luce's take on a light, airy and delicious strawberry shortcake with custom heart-shaped chocolates. All in all - a perfect Valentines Day !!
Wide variety of food. We had Donna's special and the spicy half chicken. Both were great. Butterscotch pudding was excellent. I don't even like butterscotch. One salad, two entrees and two desserts were $100. Pretty pricey. Overall it was good.
Very very good !!!
I brought my girlfriend here for Valentines Day for dinner, and we were NOT disappointed! Prices are higher, but that was to be expected for the quality of the experience. Highly recommended - we will definitely visit again!
came for Valentines Day very nice dining experience. wife is a vegetarian good choices for her I really enjoyed the pasta with clams would definitely recommend for a special occasion dining experience
Second time returning to this amazing place, this time for our 1 Year Anniversary. Amazing service and this time we wanted Vegan options so what does our amazing server do? She asks one of the Vegan servers to kindly swing by our table and do a complete rundown! They were both super helpful and friendly. We shared Vegan versions of the mushroom pasta and beet salad and they were phenomenal. Oh and btw, we did this with our 10:30 reservation after floating in the hotel's lazy river outside with drinks in hand. Spectacular anniversary and La Luce was a big part of that.
The ambiance is not special; the TV at the bar and the big white table left me with a very casual, almost sports bar theme.
The waiter described the special well, but I wasn’t impressed with the boar bolognese. The pasta was supposedly infused with basil, but I couldn’t detect it, and I love basil.
My husband enjoyed the carpaccio.
Our water was served tap warm and without ice. I requested a glass of ice, which was not refilled.
This restaurant is supposed to be the premier of the Hilton, but it was many levels below the Waldorf Bull and Bear in terms of quality of food, service, and ambiance.
My daughter often stays at the Waldorf , and I told her to not bother with la Luce.
One of the best in Orlando for quality food and very friendly service
Got a late night reservation
Valet parking was full but several guys showed up and sped us through
Was seated right away nice table for 2 people
Started off with meat and cheese board was very flavorful great choices of meat and cheeses
Dinner was ribeye for me and pork chop for my friend
Both were cooked as requested and the vegetable and grains where cooked perfectly
For desert we shared the truffle which was very rich and well done
The servers took turns asking us if anything else
The quality of food and service and overall experience was worth it
We come back for the cauliflower Tuscan bean salad- it’s to Die for!
Food and Service was superb as it always is..........................................................
Great Italian spot next to the Hilton hotel! Food was fresh and different. Loved the different flavors and don't skip on dessert. Also, this place is away from all the tourist congestion!
The food is good nothing special however after been at Disney all day it's not to drive or leave the hotel for a decent dinner.
