   This was our last chance to eat at the uptown location since it was closing at the end of the day. It’s always been wonderful and this brunch with my lovely wife was just as great. We will see you downtown soon.

   This is a Cuban restaurant with nice decor, friendly and attentive staff and great food. Prices are reasonable for location and for serving portions which are quite large, in my opinion. Coffee is amazing (Cuban Latte), Stuffed French Toast was really good with the combination of guava and cream cheese filling. Cuban sandwich is on point. We also tried the omelette with sweet plantain and manchego cheese but it was not as savory as expected. The Figtini cocktail was amazing if you like drinks on the sweet side.

   Maybe I was unlucky, but I ordered the pork and couldn't eat it as it was so salty. My wife had the fish and enjoyed it. Good service and seemed like a good restaurant. I will try again

   I ordered the churrasco skirt steak, with a side of plantains and beans. When the plate arrived, nothing was hot, it was all between cold and lukewarm, so I sent it back to be reheated. When it returned, most of the chimichurri had been wiped off the top of the meat, so I asked for some extra. And they actually charged me $1.50 for it. That was pretty much the last straw. Even though it was warm this time, it wasn't a great piece of meat, the plantains were just average, and the beans were more soup than beans. We won't be back.

    Had a girls brunch for birthday. Food was great, staff was very friendly and attentive . Cuba-chino - delicious, the brunch bowl - fantastic, Tres-Leches- hit the right spot. My friends also had really good things to say about this place. I would def come here again if I am in the neighborhood

    Service was horrendous tonight. Took close 30 mins to get seated for our reservation. I understand it’s Valentine’s Day but the hostess seemed to be causing mass confusion. Some couples that arrived for there reservation before us were somehow seated after us. Dinner itself was not much better. Took 15 mins to order drinks, and food was overall underwhelming. When we got the check the bill had an extra drink to top off the experience. Couples around us seemed to be having a similar experience. Will probably not go back.

    Good place to get together.. food is good (not great)... service is fair (not good)... and they play music in the background (not good and not loud). It bothered me to be tacked a 22.4% "gratuity" to then be presented with a "tip" line... without even advising me or printing it in the menu... the "bellini" is not a real bellini but a chemical concoction. The coffee is mediocre. food is decent (the original La Isla downtown is better)...

    Overall my partner and I had a great experience. The food was delicious, the ambiance was beautiful and the service was great. The bartender even came up to our table before we left to ask how our drinks were. We ordered guacamole, the Cubano sandwich, and espresso martinis; all were amazing. It can get a little pricy but definitely a great date night spot!

    Our waitress did not seem to want us to keep ordering anything , like she had somewhere to get to and needed to leave. Food was good. Music was too loud , my sister is hard of hearing and it made it hard for conversation. Overall good experience .

    I can't believe how mediocre your food is now! You def lost your touch. You need to hire more severs so people are not getting there drinks after the dinner is served And lower your price of your skirt steak because it was not worth $40!!!!

    The food is amazing. We had paella, bacalao croquettes, empanadas, maduros, shrimp. All was delicious! The sangria was a huge serving and delicious. Definitely a great value. We were disappointed they no longer have arroz con pollo. I hope they add that back to the menu as it was a favorite. Wish I could give 5 stars but the service was not great. It's been awhile since we've been there and it may have just been our server but, nothing was timed properly. We were a group of 4 so we ordered 2 paella for the table. We didn't get our second order of paella until we said something at the end of our meal so we told them to wrap it up to take home. We ordered two red sangria when we arrived. One took about 10 minutes to get to us and the second took another 10 minutes. Why they didn't arrive at the same time is beyond me but two other waiters tried to deliver the originally ordered sangria at separate times later in the evening. Bizarre. Since the paella was delayed, they offered a free cheesecake. We ordered two slices for the table. One showed in a reasonable amount of time. The second didn't show until we asked for the check. Hate to complain since the food is so delicious but, it was frustrating to have things arrive piecemeal.

    The place has a beautiful ambience. The food was okay. The customer service was poor. Our server brought our drinks after our food came out even though people who came in after us received their drinks before we did. Our server only checked on us once. I would not return here.
