La Hacienda at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Ratings and Reviews
100% awesome experience!!! the resort is beautiful and romantic. we were lucky enough to get Angel for our waiter and he was delightful! The guac is amazing and a huge portion- the prices definitely reflect the large portions of food given. Everything we had was delicious and alterations were allowed for our dishes. My boyfriends tacos were too spicy, and when he mentioned it they reprepared them no questions asked and he was very happy!! I like spicy food but found the spicy pineapple margaritas were not hot spicy and were soooooo gooooodddd
Had a reservation but waited 20mn to be seated for 2.
Appetizer was not prepared properly and was lacking ingredients.
Steak was chewy and way over salted.
Music should have been traditional spanish or something similar, not new age alternative.
Presentation was mediocre.
Bill was $160 for 2 and it was not much different than applebee's.
Better luck at Toro the next time.
The coconut shrimp appetizer was delicious and the margaritas were tasty. Everything we ordered after that was underwhelming. The fish tacos especially lacked flavor. There are too many great restaurants in the Valley to come back to this one.
My husband and I have eaten here many times. Friday was horrible. We both ordered the chicken fajitas. Our chicken was undercooked and tasted like rubber. My husband was up all night sick. I love the resort we stay there every year. I'll never eat here again.
Absolutely my favorite resteraunt in Scottsdale. Perfect food every time; just wish they would change up the menu more often. I go so much i end up getting same thing. Flaming coffees are quite a show and a must have. Service is professional and attentive. I love them.
We had a great experience when we were here last month that we went back even though it is very overpriced. The waiter was not friendly, the portions felt a lot smaller and it was definitely not worth the money. We will find a new place for table side quacamole as that is what brought us back and it was just ok this time.
Everyone was nice, the resort is Beautiful.
unfortunately The food was not good at all, we ordered four dishes and the one was OK to eat end up with bacon in it after I told the server please make sure no pork product in our food. Than we left without dinner, it really ruins our night
La Hacienda Mexican Cantina never disappoints! I am a regular, but I brought friends in from out of town for the very first time. They absolutely loved it. Service was wonderful and timely. The fireworks on Saturday nights on the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess hotel property was a very nice complimentary after dinner treat. Will be back again!
Our service was absolutely amazing. Our server went above and beyond to ensure our daughter enjoyed her 10th birthday dinner. However the food was extremely disappointing. We eat at other Richard Sandoval concepts in Colorado and were excited to have one of his restaurants in our hotel. The queso fundido was SO greasy and almost impossible to eat. The skirt steak entree was ok, however the sides (enchilada and chili pablano potato gratin) were down right unappetizing and very cold. We were tired from traveling and therefore did not alert the staff as we just wanted to leave. however if time were not an issue the food would have been sent back.
