La Hacienda at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
We enjoyed a beautiful meal outside with good lighting and noise level. Estevan was very attentive and courses were paced well. The sampler of guacamole was totally worth it and the shrimp enchiladas and BBQ sea bass was amazing. We will definitely be back!
Love this restaurant! The food and the service was great.
One of my favorite restaurants in all of the Phoenix area especially for Mexican. Amazing ambience, classy. Top notch service. And the food and drinks are beyond fabulous!
We always enjoy a vitro the Hacienda whenever we visit Scottsdale. The food is impeccable and the service is top notch. The guacamole is reason enough to make the visit——well you also must have a Margarita 😎
Love the food drinks
Everything is delicious
You can’t go wrong
Service was great! But food portions were pretty small and not that good! Drinks are awesome though!
We sat on the new patio. Service and food were both great.
Best haute Mexican in the Valley. Try the fillet. You'll be amazed.
Incredible food and service!
A $700 business dinner completely blown by server/kitchen either ignoring or failing to listen - an awesome setting with tremendous potential - but when meat is ordered RARE and Medium Rare and comes out more than well done, in one case even cooked to a hardness not seen before, and server never checks, never asks and more or less abandoned table after the food was delivered except one quick stop after the delivery but before a tasting what does one do. Incredibly disappointed...
Exceptional Mexican food - exceptional service - when you order and enjoy the carnitas, you know you will not have a better version of this dish anywhere else -yes its that good. Its the best Mexican food anywhere.
We sat outside which was a request so that was great. They sat us right on time. The service was great, our server always came to check on us and gave great recommendations. The food was amazing. It was a great night. We love La Hacienda.
We loved our experience at Toro. We went for the view and to see the course, but left experiencing one of our best meals. Sushi, shrimp, fish (& oh man the slaw) were all delicious.
Great place...great food...definitely eat outdoors to avoid noise and enjoy ambiance...
Loved the remodel.
our waiter (Shawn) was awesome. very attentive.
the menu was great. Loved the chicken Fajitas i ordered.
food was delicious.
Fantastic setting, amazing food. Arrive hungry. Portions are huge. Don't fill up on chips and salsa. I couldn't finish my meal!
Excellent service, tasty Margs, fresh food and intimate experience for my wife’s 40th bday. Job well done
We had a lovely dining experience! We will be back!
One of my favorite restaurants! The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is excellent - just all around amazing!
Everything was great!
Very good food, service only fair. Our waiter abandoned us, never stopped by to check on us, We waited a long time to get his attention when we had finished, then even longer to get our bill, then even longer to finish transaction.
Great place to eat
Amazing! Service is top notch, food is incredible.
Food was excellent and ambience was great but very noisy and not a great value. VERY small portions and sky high prices. Lobster tacos were awesome but 3 tacos unfolded didn’t even cover the plate. Almost seemed like a joke. The tortillas were like 3 inches in diameter.
Great meal- awesome service. Really like this place. Coming from NY, it is rare to be able to find quality, authentic mexican food, so this was a treat. The sampler guacamole was awesome- we had the corn, the watermelon, and the traditional and loved all 3. At our waitresses request, I chose the chicken enchiladas, which were perfect with a little spice. My friend had an appetizer quesadilla and the ride and beans, which were also great. We loved our server, very friendly and knowledgeable.
Service got a little slow as the restaurant got busier and busier, but she was lovely and apologetic if we had to wait a bit for her to come back. Very cool decor, nice outdoor seating, looked like a great bar area also.
Past experiences inspired our decision to revisit the hacienda
The food quality &!preparation was poor the ambiance was that of a motel
The menu selection was limited
There was no ambiance
Service was attentive
Great dinner and service
Beautiful setting outside on the patio. Would prefer outdoor patio to inside seating. Great food and service.
We stayed at the Fairmont and tried La Hacienda on our first night there. We loved it so much we went back 3 more times while we stayed at the resort! The guacamole was amazing and we’ll miss it in NJ!! Sean was our server two times and was excellent and attentive and engaging with our 2 sons, one named Sean as well! We’ll def be back when we visit AZ again!!
Food was exquisite.
Sea. Bass was great . Do the guacamole sampler delicious !
Food was good, but service was very disorganized and slow
Let me be clear, my low rating has nothing to do with how our server treated us. She was phenomenal, and deserved every cent of the generous tip we left. The food, as always, was spectacular. My review has more to do with everything, and almost everyone else.
This is an establishment we have dined at before. In fact, I have recommended it to a lot of friends. Last night, we had reservations for 7:15. When we arrived 2-3 minutes early, we were informed that they were almost ready to seat people with 6:45 reservations, and we would probably have to wait for about half an hour. We were offered a seat at the bar, but as my wife and I do not drink, we declined. I was then told that I could stand in the entry or sit on the outdoor patio, but if I left I would forfeit my reservation. As our hotel room was about 50 yards from the restaurant doors, this was very frustrating. I was also told, for the first time of the night, that groups were given preference over couples. 55 minutes into our wait on the patio we were finally offered a glass of water. When a hostess came to take two groups with reservations of 7:30 and later to their tables, I asked about our table. My response was shrugged shoulders and an “I dunno, ask someone else.”
I returned to the front and asked, as we had now been waiting for almost an hour. I was then informed two more times that my reservation didn’t really matter since groups were given priority over couples. The hostess walked away, leaving me standing alone.
Several minutes later, we were finally seated. I asked to speak with manager, and was assured that he would only be a minute or two. 20 minutes later he appeared and we had a very nice conversation. I really liked the man, and he took full responsibility for how we had been treated.
Let me be clear, once we were seated, our experience was incredible. I will eat here again, probably the next time I visit Scottsdale.
Carnitas enchiladas were absolutely delicious. Our only complaint was the lighting level when we sat down at 7 pm. It was so dark we could not see the menu without using our phone flashlights. Later our eyes adjusted. Would recommend a little brighter table lighting. Loved the setting! The Fairmont is so beautiful!
I have eaten here many times and this was the first time that the service was indifferent at best. What made it worse was that my daughter’s chicken fingers were not cooked, which we couldn’t tell in the dimness of the restaurant but noticed the next day when slicing up the leftovers. The worst part is that management did not do anything about this. Will not be back
Fantastic, food, highly recommend dining her if in Scottsdale.
Amazing food and service. We were in Arizona for only 4 days visiting and ended up eating there twice! Would highly recommend.
