   The main courses (we agreed) were very tasty and just right for a celebratory lunch, with excellent wine. Desserts lovely too. Very pleasant environment and very friendly and prompt service.

   Delicious food on a balanced menu with good service to compliment an all round excellent product. Good location near the station and Royal Mile. You won’t be disappointed.

   The staff asked what we had planned for the rest of the evening. I really appreciated this. I was able to tell them that I was going on to the theatre, and what time the show started. I noted that the food and end of the meal fitted in well with the timings. Other eating establishments should take note. The food was delicious. My dish with squid stuffed with rice was stunning. When I visit a restaurant, I want to eat something I would not attempt at home.

   It’s a long standing favourite of ours. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is authentic with the Roquefort Soufflé being really special. Lovely and light and the cheese is not overpowering. Main course of Scallops were plump and juicy. Never disappointed

   Back at La Garrigue after a very long gap - at least 2 years, maybe longer. Their standards haven’t fallen in any way and the food remains excellent. Two of us had the lamb chops, one had the king scallops and, despite not being vegetarian, the other one had the cumin roasted cauliflower because it sounded so good - and it was! From the wine list, Domaine du Météore’s Cariginides was complex and medium to full bodied. Highly recommended.

   The little soufflé starter was delicious and so was the chicken supreme. Good wine too.

    Excellent meal that all four of us each enjoyed our own dished. Great service, attentive but not overbearing.
