La Garrigue es un bistró francés situado en el 31 de la calle Jeffrey Street, cerca de la famosa Royal Mile de Edimburgo y a pocos minutos de la estación de Waverley. Este restaurante está inspirado en especialidades culinarias de la región de Languedoc de Francia y ofrece una cocina casera y rústica francesa con un toque moderno. Su propietario y chef, Jean Michel de Gauffre, conoce bien la región y ayuda a introducir lo mejor de la cocina francesa pastoral en un ambiente que evoca el sur de Francia.     Lovely meal, food fantastic and ambience great. Service was excellent. Asked regularly if everything was ok and whether we needed anything. Highly recommend.

    It's been a while since we have dined at La Garrigue but we chose to celebrate our wedding anniversary there at the weekend. The current menu gave us plenty of options to suit our pescatarian diet. We each chose different dishes for every course and enjoyed them all. For my main I went for the King Scallops and my husband the Panisse, which he hadn't tried before. La Garrigue offers a wide selection of wines - we chose a Picpoul, which was perfect. We certainly won't leave it as long until our next visit.

    Exquisite food, low key (but pleasant and polite service). Not the cheapest but probably the best!

    Lovely service with authentic French twist. Food was simply excellent, choice good and drinks and wine very nice. Definitely will come back again!

    New menu - lighter food, but as ever, beautifully cooked to bring out complex flavours. The host was attentive and we stayed much longer than we had expected.
