Father's Day Special Menus & Reservations
La Focaccia will be open on Father's Day starting at 4:00. We are serving our regular menu. Would you rather have a burnt barbecued hot dog or a freshly pounded veal parmesan with homemade marinara and fluffy mozzarella!!!

Excellent food and service! Would definitely go there again!
Food was alright. Our Server was tentative and polite! Need to clean and/or renovate the Men’s Room!!!
One of the greatest gems in the summit area. The food is always delicious.
Great food. Love that its BYOB. You feel like your part of the family.
In order of arrival: Parking is a challenge. Street spots or small lot up and across the street. It was at night, so the school lot was available. Check in: Awkward- there is a hostess, but she directs you around the corner to the Maître d’. All I can gather from her being there is she seems to be doing the CC processing and entering orders from the wait staff. Had an 8pm res, got seated at 8:25. Very friendly waiter, extensive menu selections, bread and water immediately upon seating. Noise level was a 10 though. Difficult to have a conversation and it was just the 2 of us (they need some soft surfaces to absorb the noise). Apps came out in less then 10 mins. Shrimp were small for $4 a piece, but fresh enough. Entrees: Winners!!! Veal chop chicken parm was a 10 and wifey had the Bronzino and she loved it. Dessert menu was appetizing, but we passed. Check: $125 for two people which I thought was a bit steep given no alcohol. Will def return though, it’s worth the trip.
Everything was excellent except for the noise level, which was higher than energetic, it was extremely difficult to hear across the table. Look forward to going back at a quieter time, but they shoud really take a look at changing the acoustics.
It’s the best. Service is great and food excellent. Love this place.
Clean, nice waiters, excellent food, and good prices. We take guests there and have most of our company luncheons there. Everyone loves the bread and raves about the pasta. Their grilled shrimp salad is perfect for salad lovers.
Food will be going again
The food here is consistently fantastic. Flavorful, fresh and perfectly cooked. I have tried many things on the menu and have never been disappointed. I was surprised by the (small) size of my ($14) goat cheese salad recently, and wonder whether they have reduced their portion size recently (my companion also thought his favorite tuna tartare appetizer was on the small size). I got past it because it was so delicious, but hope this is not a trend because $14 for a tiny salad will eventually turn me away.
Overall wonderful experience. We had a large party and the restaurant was accommodating and generally wonderful. However there was 1 waiter who was clearly disgruntled to be serving a large party with kids. He repeatedly made comments such as "I would if I had 8 hands" in response to mere requests like asking for club soda.. We always asked politely and were patient and understanding as we knew we were a big table. This particular waiter made multiple comments about not being up for the task of serving so many requests and frankly made us uncomfortable to have more requests. He was definitely not representative of the rest of the staff however. The other servers were kind, accommodating, friendly and really helpful.
We’ve been Dining and La Foccacia for years, for any and all occasions or just a week day date night. The restaurant staff is outstanding and the food and service are consistently great! One of our all time favorites.
Love this place. Always great service and high caliber food!
Great food as always. The bean soup was very nice. The linguini with clams was a little hard and needed one more minute to al dente.
A wonderful experience. The most consistently exceptional restaurant in Summit. The food, the service and the ambiance never fails to impress.
Excellent Service and incredible food! What more do you want! This place is fantastic.
Waiters are the best and hostess knew me as soon as I walked in the door........haven't been there in years.
I also could hear my guest. Many restaurants are so loud. This one is nice and quiet with a great ambiance.
Go - you will love it.
Went on a Sunday afternoon, service was amazing, food was really good (had pasta and my wife chicken). Perfect spot for an early dinner and the best part is a BYOB with a wine store across the street. Will definitely come back.
Always a great meal and service. Parking is challenging, especially for meeting out-of-towners. We will be back!
We loved being in the small more private room, so we could talk.
As always we had a wonderful experience at La Focaccia. We have been there many times and it remains consistently delicious!
The one improvement the could
Make is some noise cancelling items. It is always very loud and hard to hear people at your own table.
I have eaten here for 20 years and it has always been a great spot. Dinner this week was not as good as usual, and unfortunately I was not asked how everything was. Just an off night I hope.
Food was great but parking was hard to find. Was not pleased when the waiter poured Pinot Grigio into a glass containing champagne.
Great food and excellent service!!!
Delicious...never disappoints. Last night was the fifth or sixth time I’ve been there with family or friends. I recommend it to everyone....inviting decor, attentive wait staff, interesting daily additions to the menu besides their excellent staples.
Food was delicious, great variety on menu. Service was impeccable.
Very good. Went on a Friday night, so it was hopping. I had read about it being a BYO, so we got a bottle of wine from across the street. We were seated quickly in a side room, so the noise wasn't too bad. Food was excellent and the service was very good as well.
Hadn't been to this restaurant in quite a while. Service was much friendlier than it used to be! The food was very good. Two of us had veal milanese and one had the housemade lasagna. We all enjoyed our meals. Pricey due to it being BYO, so that part isn't so great. I would say it makes a solid evening out. Very enjoyable.
I have always loved La Focaccia. It is one of our “go-to” restaurants in Summit. Food and atmosphere are great but the biggest asset is the staff. They treat you like family. It’s been that way for 20+ years.
The oysters were tasteless and the sauce provided was terrible. What looked like horse radish on top of ketchup was unbelievably bitter. My wife's rack of lamb was very good, but mine was mediocre.
Delicious as always, from the appetizers to the desserts.
Staff are all very friendly and very helpful and add to the overall experience.
I would highly recommend la focaccia and we are looking forward to our next visit. Whenever we bring friends or family, they ask when we can dine there again.
Dinner with friends, and all agreed that the menu and food was outstanding. Fresh ingredients and interesting choices. Brussels sprouts, hot peppers, meatballs were terrific appetizer choices. We haven’t been here in at least 10 years and we wondered why we didn’t come back sooner???? Our mistake!!! We will definitely return shortly!
Very nice experience. Restaurant was a little more crowded than usual and wait staff busier than usual.
Dinner was served with in 5 min of ordering. It was fair. We had to ask for olive oil and that was the beginning.
The noise level was unbearable and as a twosome , we were seated between a table of 6 and a table of 8. The restaurant was not filled so that is inexcusable
The water for our tea was lukewarm and we had to return it to a waiter who all evening was haughty and found every request to be annoying
We will never be going back
Excellent place all around !! Quality food and great service !
Very good food and good value. We always get an excellent meal here.
It was just awful. They put us into this tiny corner room with four other tables, our food didn’t even come out good.
The food is plentiful and delicious. The service is top notch and entertaining. Ambiance is nice, dim lighting, tight but comfortable with a lot of activity.
Zucchini straws, tuna tartare with avocado and veal Milanese were the top choices of the evening. The warm blueberry pie with crumbled topping was perfection. Again and again we will return and bring friends.
