Our go to place for a special evening and for a new dish to try out.
I've eaten here a number of times and have never been disappointed. The food is always inventive and excellent. The sauce on my steak was so good I got extra bread to mop it up. Service is outstanding...particularly this last visit on 2/16. This is a "go-to" restaurant anytime I want an exceptional meal.
Went for Valentine's Day. The food wad incredible. We tried the octopus, a first for me, and it was so tender and flavorful. I had the salmon, which wad cooked perfectly and my date had the gumbo which was delicious! The desert sampling was the perfect ending .
I highly recommend La Gia for special occasions and the foodie.
Valentine’s day. We loved the small and quiet setting. The date appetizer was great, and the lamb chops were among the best I’ve ever had. Very happy with La Fia.
Wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was fantastic and our server was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed every minute and will return soon. Best restaurant in Wilmington.
We had dinner Tuesday 2/13 and all food was amazing. The bread was good, the drinks were good and everything came out quickly.
It is a small restaurant that is casual but the food is creative. I would definitely recommend!
Interesting menu, enjoyed the small venue, noise level great for conversation.
My husband and I went tonLa Fia for dinner and had an amazing time. From the drinks at the bar to dinner we had a fabulous time.
Way over priced . I have had meals just as good with better atmosphere for 30% less in Wilmington suburbs. Downtown Wilmington has still not arrived as a dining destination
Outstanding experience; food, service, atmosphere were all five stars.
I got the Pesto Shrimp salad and it was delicious, light and flavorful, perfect for lunch. My friend got the Butternut Squash soup and she thought it was delicious. The service is sometimes a little slow but the food is always very good.
I've reviewed this restaurant before, so I'll be brief: it remains our favorite dining establishment in Wilmington. This time, probably because we were there late, it was noisier than I remember it in the past, and charging extra for bread after two pieces per person is less than classy. Still, the Mediterranean cuisine is very good, and the service is friendly and knowledgeable. Four of the five people in our party had the octopus appetizer, and everyone loved it. Wines by the glass are reasonably priced, although the selection is somewhat idiosyncratic. Overall, La Fia continues to provide a fine dining experience.
My wife’s birthday.
The food, drinks and desserts were delicious as always. La Fia never disappoints.
LaFia is and continues to be the best food in Delaware, without exception. The wine list is also well constructed and fairly priced. Don't miss this gem.
Good food and relatively quick service
