From the whimsical craft cocktails, thoughtfully selected wines, and craft beers, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the bar.
We throughly enjoyed our experience at La Fia. The food was excellent: we loved the Master Board, the beef tartare, the “Cacio e Pepe” Mixed Green Salad, and the Rigatoni all'Amatriciana.
So delicious! We ate outside, beautiful weather, and so fun. Excellent service, cocktails, and ambiance. We even got to hear the singer from the King's Bar across the street.
Delicious food! Great staff! Will definitely be back.
Great Food, great price, ate there 2 nights in a row!!
Wonderful staff, creative and delicious cuisine and live music wafting over from the Queen as we sat outside on a perfect evening.
Wonderful Place !!
We had such a great time celebrating our 2 year anniversary at la fia! We sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and very helpful. She really knew how to make a great drink and the food was amazing! We can’t wait to go back! SO GOOD!!!
La Fia never disappoints! Every dish was delicious, creative, well presented. The duck confit was wickedly good. Good cocktails and wines by the glass. We've usually eaten indoors, but this time, even thought the restaurant was not full, the sound level was unpleasantly high: but solely due to a table of six who were literally shouting their conversations. Never ceases to amaze how diners can be so inconsiderate of others :-( But thankfully, it was a beautiful evening and our server, Natasha (she was superb) was able to move us to an outdoor table. We will keep coming back to La Fia. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, great value!
Food was great! Loved the red snapper appetizer and the squid ink spaghetti and the chicken was so delicious!
We ate outside which was delightful. Duane, the Chef is outstanding. We followed him for Domain Hudson. Every dish was special, we just love his food.
The restaurant is small inside and the tables are closer together than we like, so we try to eat outside, weather permitting. We are older so we try to be extra careful of any possible exposure. We do not trust the unvaccinated to wear masks.
I sat at the bar which was a great experience. The waitress always checked on me to make sure I didn't need anything and was overall amazing. The food was delicious the lamb ribs were falling off the bone. Also the squid ink pasta was delicious and they gave a good amount of crab
Our FAVORITE restaurant in Wilmington. In fact, it’s our favorite in the Greater Philadelphia area. The kitchen is both inventive (coriander-cured snapper) and restrained (penne arrAbiatta cooked to a perfect al dente). Everything was perfect and we so enjoy spending time with the team at La Fia. They and the food are an unbeatable combo.
We especially enjoyed the small plates. Every dish we ordered were delicious-duck Confit, lamb ribs, wagyu tartar, and octopus. The pasta dishes were fine but not as memorable as the small plates. The squid ink pasta was better than the rigatoni and quail egg ravioli. Skip over dessert. It was a bit pricey and was underwhelming. Will definitely come back for the small plates and drinks. My mom ordered the stone bass and said it was good as well.
Overall good experience. Food took a little longer than it should have but I think the waitress forgot to put the charcuterie board in with our drink order but in her defense she had a lot of tables to take care of. Charcuterie board and drinks were great. Would def go back again.
Amazing food. Amazing service. Can’t wait to go back!
The La Fia Staff were amazing as they herded us outside due to the fire alarm. They were Beyond gracious to your clients. Food was delicious. Thank you
Great food and great service!
Excellent cuisine and service.
Outdoor dining ambiance (tablecloths? A little more greenery?) could use a little TLC. But we had a delightful meal and will definitely return!
Terrific meal and Natasha was a lovely server. Great place to celebrate our 39th anniversary.
Never disappoints. We did small plates this time and it was the perfect amount of food.
Great food, service and drinks. Enough said!!!
Great place with impressive food. The atmosphere is a bit "lively," so not the place if you're looking for quiet.
Exceptional service and food
Perfect meal at La Fia - excellent service, great recommendations, lovely cocktails, delicious food. Sitting at the counter looking out on Market Street was fun, too! Kudos to Chef K for the best grilled octopus I've ever had.
As always La Fia was excellent. From the food to the service everything was exceptional. My wife and I had an excellent meal. I had the Squid Ink Pasta and my wife the Duck Confit. This restaurant is our go to place when ever we want a Dinning night out. Thanks
Amazing food, excellent service, what more can I say? Definitely recommend!
Food was amazing, as always!
We last visited in February 2020, this is our first return since "sheltering in place"; we ate outside on a perfect day. Wednesdays are prix fixe ($35 for two courses and dessert). Octopus ($5 extra) was very good as was the poke with blueberries and puffed chips. My main course (squid ink pasta topped with dungeness crab) was also excellent, nice chew to the pasta. Ricotta gnocci was okay (I thought it could have been more flavorful). My pavlova was a great dessert, nice balance of sweet and crisp with tart and cool sorbet. My "Red Samurai" cocktail (vodka, yuzu, pomegranate puree) was pleasant (and strong), didn't blow my mind but wasn't a disappointment (as many cocktails can be). Glad to see they've come through the pandemic with quality intact, this will probably become a favorite of ours.
Menu was a wow and it has been a while since my last visit. Everything was creative and worth going again.
Nice ambience, overall great food with a few exceptions (the gnocchi were chewy), good service
Excellent food and service as always!
We were lucky enough to stumble upon La Fia during Restaurant Week and we were NOT disappointed. I am still dreaming about the food - from the bread to dessert & everything in between - WOW! The ambiance is perfect for date night. The bartender was an absolutely stunning specimen with a 1000 watt smile that kept the libations & conversation flowing. I am already planning my return back!
Fantastic service and food was amazing!! Will be back soon!
Just a fabulous experience. The food was amazing and the service was prompt, pleasant and consistent. Could not think of a thing to make it better. Will be back....often!
Great food the 3 course meal was a little pricey but definitely worth it
excellent food and service every time I go. 100% pleased our table of 7!!
Food was great, as always! We went for restaurant week and will return again.
Three of us ate here for dinner during the June 2021 Restaurant Week (thanks for having this!). We each had something different for the 3 courses, and all were excellent. The portions were also very good-sized/large--definitely no skimping. Service was very good, and we weren't rushed. It was a very enjoyable dinner.
Wonderful Wednesday dinner. Think I'll make this a habit.
Brilliant menu, outstanding service and lovely atmosphere. Favorite restaurant in Wilmington
I am always worried when we return for the second visit to a restaurant that we loved so much the first time. No such worries at La Fia. Second visit was as good as the first. Other than the fact that they were out of both bottles of wine we wanted, everything was perfect. We went with individuals glasses and it was the perfect choice as none of us was drinking much that night. As expected, the service was superb, the ambiance great - like a rustic retreat but in the middle of a bustling city. And the food - so darn good! The qualms egg pasta was the star of the evening but everything, from the squid to the gnocchi, was simply great. We will return may times, I'm sure.
