Excellent service by Amy
Had a delightful meal and great service - our steak was perfect and creative accompaniments, and the luscious chocolate dessert was amazing! Thank you!
Our first visit back to La Fia in many months due to the pandemic, and we were not disappointed. The food was exceptional: inventive, flavorful, well-prepared. We especially liked the grilled octopus first course, but our entrees -- branzino and marinated chicken -- were also outstanding. It was good to be back in one of our local favorites!
Top notch food and drinks, our favorite restaurant in Wilmington.
Great bartender- wish I remember her name. She rustled up a great spicy habenero dip to accompany my dish.
Fantastic food! Very inventive menu, incredibly fresh and delicious. Kudos to the chef for the exciting sauce/fringe tastes… they made the dishes. Had red snapper, duck, octopus and we both had branzino entrees. Everything was superb!
We ate there the Wednesday before with the three course meal and loved it so much we brought our neighbors back this week. Food is outstanding. We loved everything. Lauren is a sweetheart.
Best restaurant in Wilmington. Hands down. All aspects of service are excellent.
Made reservations for La Fia to celebrate my mom's birthday.
6pm reservation for outdoor dining. We had great weather, and La Fia has made additional effort to make their outdoor area special with beautiful plant/flower arrangements that were throughout their outdoor seating area.
Our server (Natasha?) was amazing. She was super friendly and made our dinner more fun. The food was delicious and creative as always. It wasn't my first time here but it was my mom's first time, and she was blown away. Can't wait to dine there again!
Very unique and creative menu. Interesting choices and combinations
We had a wonderful dinner at La Fia! We went to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was her first time there and she was very impressed. The attention to detail with the food and service was excellent! Homemade food and so good!
we waited an hour for our meal and my fish was un edible. It wasnt fresh at all and La Fia used to be my favorite restaurant. The wait was truly not acceptable.
My favorite place to dine in Wilmington.
My husband and I had a wonderful evening here. The food was tasty and unique, and the service was fabulous. We will definitely be back.
First and last time at La Fia. Very disappointed despite multiple favorable reviews. The entrees were good but not impressive. In fact, one of the meals was chicken in which the portions were more like appetizers. Maybe more of a place for locals, I guess.
Great food, great service, and amazing presentation. I would definitely come here again. The only reason I chose the loudest option, is there was a party with people who were very loud and it is a quaint environment. Still would highly recommend. The gnocchi was out of this world!
Never had a less-than-delicious bite at La Fia. This meal was no exception
La Fia remains a gem. The new chef has carried on the vision set by the owners, with resulting new dishes but continuity of their tradition of creativity and excellence. The staff will absolutely nail the wine pairings for you, and the wines are exceptional and reasonable.
La Fia was amazing. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent and the food was fabulous from our cheese board through to dessert. I'd highly recommend this dining spot.
They food was phenomenal and the service was attentive without being intrusive.
Creative, inspired fine dining in downtown Wilmington. We've been multiple times, and the food is consistently delicious and unique.
Excellent meal at LaFia last night. Seabass was perfectly cooked. Seafood Mista with fresh scallops, clams and mussels over Jasmine rice in a delicious broth, and beef shoulder was delicious. Excellent service and price at $35 for a three course meal!
The best restaurant in Wilmington, hands down. Excellent menu, fresh ingredients, creative cocktails and the perfect ambiance.
The girl that sat us was miserable, not a smile, or welcome. Just looked at us, i said we had reservations. I believe she was asian. However our server Natasha was a delight. Miserable lady brought out our dinners. Left empty handed even though a finished charcuterie board was on the table. That actually was extremely annoying. Perhaps training is in order.
Great meal, the Manhattan was very good. Loved the cheese plate. The entree was both different and tasty
Our waitress Natasha was so friendly and genuine and checked on us just the right number of times. I met a friend for dinner and we sat outdoors. I was waiting for her to arrive, and she had a difficult time finding a parking spot, passing the restaurant several times in the process. Natasha brought us complimentary champagne because of the frustration, which was really kind. I had the sea bass, which was delicious. I will come again to sample more entrees from the menu!
We always have an exceptional meal at this restaurant. My wife and I were in for dinner a few days ago and the standards are still quite high. The wine list, although a bit limited, was excellent and the cocktails were fun. The entrées were excellent and no criticism whatsoever. Parking can be an issue depending on the day and what is going on other nearby popular venues. Highly recommend it. I suggest making your reservation a few days ahead as it is a relatively modest sized restaurant and it is popular.
We have been for the $35 Prix Fixe many times before, and while delicious, we found the portions to be significantly smaller.
I was surprised to find a good restaurant in Wilmington. I try to support individual restaurants and don't mind paying a little more for quality.
We throughly enjoyed our experience at La Fia. The food was excellent: we loved the Master Board, the beef tartare, the “Cacio e Pepe” Mixed Green Salad, and the Rigatoni all'Amatriciana.
So delicious! We ate outside, beautiful weather, and so fun. Excellent service, cocktails, and ambiance. We even got to hear the singer from the King's Bar across the street.
Delicious food! Great staff! Will definitely be back.
Great Food, great price, ate there 2 nights in a row!!
Wonderful staff, creative and delicious cuisine and live music wafting over from the Queen as we sat outside on a perfect evening.
Wonderful Place !!
We had such a great time celebrating our 2 year anniversary at la fia! We sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and very helpful. She really knew how to make a great drink and the food was amazing! We can’t wait to go back! SO GOOD!!!
La Fia never disappoints! Every dish was delicious, creative, well presented. The duck confit was wickedly good. Good cocktails and wines by the glass. We've usually eaten indoors, but this time, even thought the restaurant was not full, the sound level was unpleasantly high: but solely due to a table of six who were literally shouting their conversations. Never ceases to amaze how diners can be so inconsiderate of others :-( But thankfully, it was a beautiful evening and our server, Natasha (she was superb) was able to move us to an outdoor table. We will keep coming back to La Fia. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, great value!
Food was great! Loved the red snapper appetizer and the squid ink spaghetti and the chicken was so delicious!
We ate outside which was delightful. Duane, the Chef is outstanding. We followed him for Domain Hudson. Every dish was special, we just love his food.
The restaurant is small inside and the tables are closer together than we like, so we try to eat outside, weather permitting. We are older so we try to be extra careful of any possible exposure. We do not trust the unvaccinated to wear masks.
I sat at the bar which was a great experience. The waitress always checked on me to make sure I didn't need anything and was overall amazing. The food was delicious the lamb ribs were falling off the bone. Also the squid ink pasta was delicious and they gave a good amount of crab
