Hard to find such good Italian food! It was excellent
Fantastic food, attentive owner and great ambiance! We will be back soon Alfio!
Great good, service and beautiful to eat outside.
So delicious!! Best Italian I have had in San Diego!
We really enjoyed our meal here. It is the best Italian food we have had in a long time. Everyone was very friendly as well!
Great food and service. Almost a quintessential Italian experience. Sort of in the middle of a strip mall but that’s Italian too right.
4 different meals in our group, all were fantastic. Highly recommend the California Pizza!
Good food options and many wine choices. Very enjoyable experience.
First day of them serving brunch and they knocked it out of the park. Food was fabulous!
Loved our experience! Food was delicious and they were able to adapt a dish to my daughter’s liking. Meatballs were incredible and make sure to eat the fresh bread. Put the carb counter away.
The Italians who run the place are so warm and thoughtful. It was a pleasure to chat with them.
Hidden gem! Great food, great music, great customer service and experience overall! Definitely worth the drive if you aren’t staying in La Jolla
Fantastic food and even better service! Next time I am craving Italian I know where I’m going! 10/10 recommend!
Such a little gem! Ludo was very attentive and it was a most pleasant outing.
Incredible food and outstanding service! Felt like we were in Italy!
Really really yummy spot hidden away in La Jolla. Quiet and delicious, will definitely be returning! The chicken parm is 👌🏼 and portions are perfectly sized. We spent $75 (before tip) for dinner for two with an appetizer, two entrees and two glasses of wine.
Food was great! Authentic Italian and staff was excellent. I had the linguine and clams and my sister had the spa
I grew up on the east coast so I know good Italian food when I taste it and I can honestly say that this is the real deal. The food was superb and their red sauce was authentic and just as good if not better than some of the Italian restaurants in NYC. The service was 5 star and I felt like a VIP. It was a great experience overall and can’t wait to go back there soon! 😊👍🏻🙏
Still one of the best quality/value ratios in LaJolla.
After 2 visits to this restaurant, it has quickly become one of my favorites in San Diego. Every visit brings me back to Italy, from the amazing food and the staff who truly have a love for serving the guests and are knowledgeable about the authentic Italian menu. Even the fresh made bread that they start you off with and homemade spread is amazing. Always a lovely experience. If you drive past the restaurant on the left, there is a parking garage after the first left turn. This self parking garage charges $7 vs. the $15 across the street or higher for valet at George's.
This was a little treasure we found! We felt like we’d stepped into a little side alley restaurant in Venice. Quaint and nice. The waiter knew it was my son’s bday, and he brought a delicious tiramisu as a surprise! Apps, salad, and entrees were fantastic. We’d definitely head back on our next visit the area!
Beautiful courtyard setting. Excellent food and service.
Truly a hidden gem in the Village of La Jolla. Tucked away off of bustling Prospect, you are transported to Italy as you walk through the door... from the initial greeting by the host, to the atmosphere and attentive service and, of course, the amazing food! Buon appetito!
La Dolce Vita is a hidden La Jolla gem right across the street from Georges at the Cove. It's quiet ambiance, perfect dining music, and several "original" Italian waiters, create a setting as close to Italy that you will find in La Jolla.
We were family table of 10 in for a wedding. The food, service was delicious. It was quite loud in the quaint house!
We are local but had never eaten here. We were shocked by the incredible food, great service, and surprising value for La Jolla. I suggest you tell friends and family to go here rather than the really pricey places across the street.
Great food, atmosphere and service.
This place is great. Waiters are Italian and provided amazing service. Delicious food and wine. I will definitely be back!
