La Dolce Vita Ristorante
My husband and I had an excellent dinner and fantastic service with Rafael as our server. He was very informative and attentive and gave excellent meal suggestions. We will be coming back here again very soon to enjoy the delicious homemade pasta meals😊
Amazing food and service at La Dolce Vita , my family and I had the most amazing evening . Thank you
Fantastic food and service at La Dolce Vita ,I love coming here .
The family and I went to La Dolce Vita while in town. We really enjoyed our experience from the service to the food. My wife had the lobster ravioli that she enjoyed and I had the seafood risotto that was delicious. I have to recommend both specials.
Amazing food great service. I had the pappardelle short rib must try , I loved the ambiance
Wonderful food great service. We really enjoyed the romantic ambiance , I’ll definitely recommend it to all my family and friends
Wonderful food and amazing service , the man who runs the restaurant is a pro. Third time we come at This restaurant never disappoints
I enjoy coming at La Dolce Vita , they treat me like family, the food is outstanding and the price for the area is just unbeatable. Love the food . I’ll be back
Just a really lovely atmosphere. Great live music and great food.
A perfect night. An intimate and fun atmosphere. Service is special: friendly, knowledgeable, and gracious. Exceptional food and wine.
No complaints except the ambiance left something to be desired.
We had the most amazing evening filled with amazing food and wine , the music on Friday was just amazing. We enjoy the singer Luigi who’s been singing since . The food is spectacular
There was a singer who could not sing. Really poor and made the dining experience intolerable. The food was a bit overcooked but ok. The noise and music was too much.
We were greeted by the staff like we were good friends. They made us feel vert welcome and since I disclosed were we’re celebrating my father’s birthday they shook his hand and wished Him a happy birthday. As a die-hard romantic I really enjoyed the ambiance. Romantic Italian music playing softly, the warm lighting. The Moscato was SO good! So sweet and smooth. My parents enjoyed the merlot. They said it was very good. The pasta seems homemade. The bread was served hot out of the oven and olive oil, salt, Italian seasoning and balsamic were on the table for dipping your fresh baked bread! Yum. 😋😋😋😋😋
Great food, excellent ambiance, wonderful and very friendly wait staff.
It's getting 5 stars across the board because the people working there are so friendly. Everything else is wonderful too!
Great food and amazing service. Will definitely be returning.
The live music was beyond any anticipation. Service superb, and staff interaction very positive
Fellow San Diegans, if you get a chance check out La Dolce Vita Ristorante in La Jolla. The coolest little Italian restaurant in San Diego County, with a live singer every weekend that wanders from table to table singing songs in Italian, Spanish and English, from standards to operatic to contemporary. He's funny, but also a masterful singer. He sang two Spanish songs that my wife requested that her dad used to sing to her when she was a little girl. She had not heard either of these songs since she was 8 or 9. The food is superb, the service is mostly excellent, and it's charming and romantic and fun. Right on Prospect, but tucked away in a little enclave. I've been on this street a thousand times and never noticed the restaurant until a few months ago. It's now among my favorites. You can eat inside or out. Tell the owner/manager Alfio Conti that Jamie Reno sent you. Ciao!
We were disappointed with the waiting period between meals, twe order a caprese salad to start and we waited almost 45 minutes for it then we waited another 45 minutes for our food,
I ordered short ribs oven saffron rissoto what a disappointment just a few bites of the short ribs most of them was fat and not meat.
Could be because was a busy night, we will tried again in another time
One of the best dining experiences of my life! Food was incredible. We were treated like royalty. I will take family and friends back again.
Amazing food and authentic Italian ambiance , we enjoy everything i our party. No wonder they won best Italian in La Jolla
This is a great little restaurant. The courtyard atmosphere is great and so is the food. The service was excellent!
Fantastic place to have a good meal with friends and family
I MADE A DINNER FOR GRANMA 80s AND WE RECEIVED EXTRA ESPECIAL ATTENTION
AND A BIRTH CAKE
This place feels like a family run restaurant in Italy. Very friendly and the food is delicious and fresh. We sat in the courtyard and it was delightfully quiet. Pastas are all house made. We had the veal with mushrooms and the veal Milanese. Both were excellent. We will be back.
We went here do to our first choice being booked, we are extremely glad we did. The food was delicious, the service friendly and quick, and the outdoor sitting was cute.
Skip the pizza. You’ve been warned lol
Very nice menu & delicious food. Personal service. Our server from Venice was very charming and attentive to our group celebrating a special occasion.
Awesome La Jolla experience. Great, welcoming service. Waiter was attentive and fun. Food was great. Highly recommend the outdoor seating on nice nights.
Great place for a very nice Italian meal. Owner and staff were great, very nice and couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend La Dolce Vita.
We had a large party (traveling with family) and had a lovely table in a room just for us. The service was WONDERFUL and the food so tasty(our party was one that had folks of all ages 9-75) and all had a great time.
The food was so amazing!!!!!
Loved sitting outside listening to the music.
Customer service was great! Very attentive.
Places like this are a breath of fresh
Went for out daughters’ birthday. Service was excellent, dishes recommended by our waiter were wonderful. Would definitely recommend!
Great food and service! Best tiramisu, will be back soon!
This was the BEST food we’ve ever eaten. This has become our place to eat when in San Diego! Great atmosphere and very romantic :)
Loved everything about this place and the food was amazing!! Hidden gem and very romantic ambiance but even more importantly the service and the people were incredible!! Definitely going back and recommend them to you all!!!
Yes I’m a regular, I love the food and the way they treat me , I feel part of the family, very reasonably priced menu and excellent food
This is a hidden little gem in La Jolla right off Prospect Street, with indoor and outdoor seating in a charming tiny nook in a mini-shopping spot. We must have walked past this restaurant 1,000 times in my life but never noticed it. We discovered it recently. The management here is superb, they simply know how to please customers. The food is terrific, the service first-rate, and the atmosphere is even better, with a singer and keyboardist on weekend evenings. They are terrific, the singer wanders among the tables unobtrusively and charms with his excellent operatic singing voice (in Italian, Spanish and English) and his wit and humor. He brought my wife to tears of joy when he knew and sang a couple of the songs that my wife's father sang to her when she was a little girl. This is a tiny little slice of Italy, you'll love it.
This was our first visit to La Dolce Vita, and I can now say that it is my favorite Italian restaurant. Everything was exceptional!
