Food was tasty and the portions were a generous size. Love that it is BYOB but Jersey wines are also available to purchase.

had an excellent meal at clemenza's. The foccaccia to start was outstanding, my chicken franchese over linguini was perfect and the service very nice and hospitable.

We tried this restaurant for Christmas Eve. The owners had difficulty locating our reservation and were generally rude to us. When we were finally seated and it took 10-15 mins for someone to come to our table to acknowledge us. Then it took about 10 mins more to get water and bread and have our wine opened. The food was only okay ... definitely not worth coming back for. The only bright spot was the owners’ son who ended up looking after our table. He was pleasant and attentive. He apologized for the under-staffing.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner on Christmas Eve. I highly recommend the meatballs. Love that it's BYOB. The atmosphere is special - the interior decor is lovely. Service was slow, that's my only feedback of where to improve - but likely because of the holiday business. Spring for dessert - the homemade tiramisu, and banana cheesecake, is worth it!

New York style small restaurant. Close to Lincoln Center for before or after performance meals. Exellent food and service. Crowded tables but not excessively noisy. A little pricy but considering location and food was a good value.

I've been here twice in the last few months. Clamenza's never disappoints! I usually get the same thing each time, the braciole and the GIANT meatball appetizer, but I get the meatballs with the meal and split up among the table. This time we got the rice ball appetizer and it was awesome! Great food, great atmosphere and the staff is genuinely kind and friendly - I have told many to go there and no one ever says they had a bad time/meal!

The food is always very good here. The service took awhile to get started. We were seated on time and the hostess said she would be right back with menus but she never showed up. We finally got our server to bring us menus. He was very attentive as was the other staff. We like this place and won’t let this one slip up keep us from coming again.

Very pleased with the service and attention to details. Water was refilled without calling the waitress The food was presented well.
I am bringing new friends here for dinner next week.

Wish there were more choices on the wine list or acceptance of BYO

What a great find! I looked on Open Table for a restaurant near the Papermill Playhouse and Cucina came up. Delicious food, charming service (if a bit slow), and interesting decor. Show your subscription card from PP and you get 20% off. Mangia!

We walked to the restaurant from the Papermill Play house following a matinee. 4PM reservation and the restaurant was ours for the first 30 min or so. Food was awesome and the service was friendly. We were there as a party of 4 and even when the house filled around 5 PM, conversation was easy. Ambiance is very nice and gives a European outdoor restaurant feel in doors. Would definitely go again.

Went to restaurant after seeing show a few blocks away. It was my second time eating there. It was a Sunday afternoon so I ordered the “Sunday Gravy.” This entree was wonderful, in fact all the entrees at the table were good.

Ambiance and decor were very nice, however, the service and food was very mediocre. The service was not on top of things, took very long to get a menu as well as order the food. Ordered appetizers, before we knew it, dinner was already served. Wouldn't go back, definitely some other spots in Millburn that are much better.

Just a note made reservation for lunch in the restaurant side of the eatery. No waiter service on Mondays. Sat outside on the casual side of the eatery, worked out great where able to accommodate my group celebrating a birthday.

Cute atmosphere. Created a streets ape dining experience indoors with cobble stone- like floor, lamp posts and brick wall. Waiters nice and attentive. Entree came with potato and vege. Salad extra charge. BYOB or buy a bottle of a local vineyard wine.

Our visit was on Mother's Day, and the restaurant was packed so we waited for 45 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Weren't given menus once seated. Waited 10 minutes for the menus and another 5 minutes for our server to take our beverage order. A little frustrating but things started flowing a little quicker after the drinks arrived. Anyhow, for me this didn't weigh so heavily toward my rating because it was a major special holiday and we all know how it goes on Mother's Day.

The service was fair to good. There was a couple who looked liked they may be the owners, helping the host with seating and managing. The woman was sweet and pleasant. Food was very good, the "gravy" or pasta sauce was delicious and dishes very flavorful. I fell in love with the atmosphere. Totally my style. Overall, a good dining experience. Would definitely recommend, and I will return again to try more thins on the menu. Also can't wait to try the brick oven pizza at the attached pizzeria next door. Thank you!

Friends and I had eaten here separately but not together and not in a while. It was crowded and noisy in the rear room (although attractive). The issue was service - or rather lack thereof. No one was asked about pepper for salad, cheese for pasta, water glasses weren't filled and a side was or rabe was forgotten and when it came, cheese was offered to her but no one else. Several dishes were a nice size but the price of the specials was outrageous and the size of eggplant parmigiana (had by 2) was teeny. So sad but we will likely not return.

Made a last minute reservation on a saturday evening at 6. Was happy that they were able to seat us. We were seated in the back room which was quiet and pretty. An hour into our dinner a table of 14 or so were seated and we could not hear ourselves talk. The waiter rushed us to order, and seemed as though he was doing us a favor. He brought our meals, stood at the table and screamed out the order for each one of us.
We couldn't hear and he got annoyed. Perhaps he could have remembered who ordered what. With this, the food was very good and came out in a timely fashion. I wouldn't have written a review if I didn't get a request for one. Good food, timely service, nice place. Lousy attitude from waiters, way too noisy- but that was due to the large party.
