On a quiet evening for a snowy Wednesday couldn’t ask for something more appropriate fire place going good food and the service just as sweet as it this knowledgeable and professional. Made us feel like royals and family at the same time ....

The level of service and willingness to accommodate is very good. The food is very good as well, but not quite what it was a number of years ago. The place could use a bit of updating (curtains/tablecloths/etc). Check your bill carefully.
Every meal at Cremaillere is an event. Our 5-course New Year's Eve dinner was superb in every way. The restaurant was somewhat noisier than I ever experienced it, but the room was very full. I had the pheasant, something rarely seen on menus these days. It was moist and flavorful; my wife raved about her halibut with lobster risotto. Our souffles were perfection! We are so glad there are still places like Cremaillere. Long may it thrive!
Our two appetizers which were escargot and pâté were absolutely revolting.
Our entrees thankfully were delicious and the souffle was absolutely delicious. if i ever go back, it would be only for the souffle.
Service was spotty. we had our amuse-bouche before we even had bread or our menu! wine didn't come until after our appetizers (and we didn't have a cocktail first).
the pink table cloths are also just terrible. switch to white!!!
Overall i was disappointed- the escargot was soooo bad. but thank goodness for that souffle!
The selection of dishes on the menu are complemented by the warm atmosphere and excellent service.
Very good meal. Attentive staff (though the meal took nearly 3 hours). Food was excellent. Very expensive for Westchester but a good meal for special occassions. Terrific wine selection.
We have been recommended to this restaurant by friends and we finally tried it! Our only regret is that we did not try it sooner! We had the halibut special and had the pike dumplings, which I had as an appetitzer. We also had the sliced filet in a horseradish calvados sauce, which I had never had before and it was out of this world, truly delicious!
They also have an extensive wine list, but we found everything we needed from a price point.
They have a very thin warm applet tart which was a wonderful way to end the meal! We were very very happy!
Fabulous first time visit. Charming restaurant with delicious food and professional service. We will definately return again soon!
