Very good food and service, however too breezy, was uncomfortable eating dinner.
Four of us dined there and found the food to be exceptional. Really wanted to do a Tapas experience but noting the small size of the tables we went for entrees instead. We were not disappointed.
Great experience highly recommended. Great food
A great tapas place in Paso!
This was a repeat visit for us with our extended family. Our large party included one vegan, one vegetarian, one gluten free and two small children. We were seated at a large table which was perfect for our party, and the staff was extremely accommodating. We enjoyed delicious ceviche, short ribs and paella. Our only wish is that more vegetarian and vegan options be added to the menu, as margarita pizza was really the only one for vegetarian, and beet salad was the only one for vegan. Other than that, we loved our dinner together and will be back when next in the area.
It is the second time I have been here, I brought my wife for her birthday and she loved it! Great spot, clean, and overall great food. I’m really bad with names so I hope I got this right, Cody, our waiter was outstanding.
They seated us early which was nice, but the rest of the dinner was just okay. Our server seemed new and only told us about 1 special and we heard another server tell another table two other one. When the scallops and rice arrived, both were cold. I wanted to like this restaurant and recommend it, but based on experience I can not.
Great food and service. A alittle lopud but hey it was saturday evening at 6 PM. We would definately go back to this restaurant.
Creative menu and excellent red wines from Argentina, Spain, and Chile. Open late!
This was our first time at La Cosecha having eaten at all of the other OpenTable restaurants in Paso Robles. This was a very nice experience and the indoor/outdoor ambiance was terrific. The tapas sizes were fair, although some had odd numbers of items so for a party of 4 somebody may lose out. Flavors were excellent from salad to the multiple tapas, and eventually a prosciutto pizza. I would agree that things might be a bit salty but overall everything was nicely prepared and presented. The wine list is fairly broad and at a decent price point. Service was good not fantastic. I can imagine it could get quite loud; we were spared by being near the opening to the outside patio. We would definitely return.
Great food at a reasonable price. Service was fantastic
Outstanding service and amazing food. We shared the calamari, caprese, and ceviche. Everything was delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. The cocktails were creative and wonderful. We love it here!
Delicious food! Don't forget to ssk about their specials!
Did not enjoy the food. Nice location
The food was very good and our server was attentive. We appreciated the open door to let the fresh air in, but the flies were just too numerous toward the end of our meal to make it enjoyable.
Mixed feelings on this. We started with a couple of small plates to share--Nicaraguan empanadas and a beet and goat cheese salad. Both were tasty but nothing spectacular. I had the steak for dinner which was good, but the veggies and potatoes were flavorless. My wife's short rib was also good, but her mash and veg were flavorless. We were perplexed how the proteins were so flavorful and well cooked and the veg were the absolute opposite. No salt was used in the cook on the veg at all.
Service was friendly, interior was active and fun.
We arrived a few minutes late but were quickly taken to our table. The waiter came by and dropped off menus/wine list. When he came back and we had a chance to decide what we wanted, he told us that the one thing we REALLY wanted was out of stock - and it was only 6:30pm on a Friday! What?!! I was really disappointed, as the menu was very large to start with.
We ended up finding a few items and they were really good - loved the tomato and burrata salad. Yum.
The place got really noisy really fast. Not a restaurant to linger in.
We sent the paella back as it was inedible -- way too salty, and my husband has a pretty high salt tolerance. The waitress was great, brought us another -- edible but still too salty. Prawns-chorizo-polenta dish also too salty; beet salad was very good.
Probably won't go back -- food was lukewarm, too.
Have been a number of other times and really liked it; not sure what happened.............super disappointed.
Great service, heard about the pizza but thought it was a bit soggy.
The restaurant was very loud! It was difficult to hear. The food was good with the exception of the short ribs which were sent back for being way too salty! However they were replaced with the pork chops which were excellent. Appetizers were fabulous as well as the two bottles of wine that we bought to augment the two that we brought.
Food was all very good, but it’s tough to properly enjoy the meal when the service is terrible. Sat down for 1pm lunch that took well over an hour - though the restaurant was only about 60% capacity. Our order was put in promptly, along with our drinks. Soups took 25 to be served, with little acknowledgement to the wait. A manager finally came over and attributed the wait to the soups being “made to order.”
Great food, great atmosphere!! We had the Braised Short Ribs, Lamb Meatballs, Stuffed Squash Blossom Flowers, Fried Calamari, Gambas Prawns, and a Margherita Pizza...all excellent and plenty to share!
First time visit, great wine list and cocktails. Food was excellent. I will definitely be back.
We were celebrating a Car Show Win in San Miguel
We were hot and hungry. We git there around 4 pm and had the best Bar service so we decided to change our reservation that we had later on to just sit at Bar for dinner. Outstanding service
Food is phenomenal. Attentive bar staff offer great recommendations for not only what's on their menu, but also for other things to see and do in town.
The food was excellent! It was nice trying a different cuisine. The portions were generous. If you order a pizza you will get an entire large pizza. If I did it over I would have only ordered appetizers. They were enough to fill us up. The downsides to the restaurant were; it was pricey, and it felt cramped. Overall it was still a nice dinner with my daughter.
I am so dissapointed. I wanted to take my wife on a birthday dinner with wonderful atmosphere and fantastic food. Unfortunately when we arrived, eventhough I made a reservation and explained the celebration, there was no reserved table. We got a choice of the bar top outside, or the little two top in the middle of all the walk through traffic. The host didn’t let the waiter know it was my wife’s birthday. We had the Beet Salad, Gumbas, and Pastalitos Catracho (Beef empanadas). The beet salad had so much Augula it drowned out the shavings of beets. The Gumbas was decent. Nothing outstanding. The Pastalitos Catracho were soggy under the cabbage, dressing, and tomatoes. The waiter was polite and attentive. Overall it was a let down. The host never checked on us and if a restaurant staff doesn’t understand a restaurant experience is as much about the service as the food they should find another career.
The food is so good every time. The Carnitas Chilicilles are awesome. The Octopus was very good. The paella is always really good as well.
Overall, a great restaurant experience. One negative is that it' s very loud and echoing.
Unfortunately our food was at best warm - and no wait staff in sight so we just gave up and ate it cold. The restaurant is VERY loud - and unfortunately we had one of those people at the adjacent table who wanted to dominate the conversation at their table and spoke extremely loudly as a result.
Good food, good service. They split a meal for us, for a small charge, perfect amount for us. Very noise when we sat down (Bad acoustics) better when a large party left half way through our meal.
I am always satisfied with my choices at La Cosecha. The food is exceptional.
Awesome food,service and drinks.
Good vibe and incredible seafood. Mussels and clams really outstanding.
Coconut milk in the seafood broth made it just over the top.
Although the food was good, it's very frustrating to have the entree served different than what was described in the menu. Either print them daily or if there is a deviation from the printed menu, inform the servers so that they can properly communicate with the customer.
Wonderful, delicious meal, terrific service and inviting atmosphere. Great drinks!
We had an absolutely incredible and delicious experience tonight. From the moment we walked in and were seated at a great table near the front of the restaurant where we could enjoy the street view to our creative cocktails and incredible food. Robert our server was knowledgeable, helpful and enhanced our evening. Every bite was delicious. Pork belly?!!! The best. Burrata salad? It was like a BLT from heaven. Paella? Delicious. Followed by delicious dessert - coconut flan and chocolate torte. (Lol - we agreed and shared everything except dessert!) Can’t wait to go back!
Great atmosphere, creative menu, tasty food & great service! Steak was incredible!
Tyler was great in going over the menu and specials as well as paying the right amount of attention throughout our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the tuna tartar appetizer special. We had the salmon and pork chops - both were cooked perfectly along with the vegetables. I would definitely go back when we are in town.
