Everything was great and food was exceptional until the end. Since we had to sit outside due to Covid, we asked for a heater once it got cold. Just as we finished dinner and were about to order a round of drinks they just moved our heater to another table. When I asked why they did that without even asking us first, and after the fact, they said they wanted to be accommodating to the other guests. I was speechless. When I asked them what about us, your current guests, they just said sorry. We asked for our check right then and left. A once favorite place of ours just became our least favorite. Rude is an understatement.
great lunch spot! the salmon was fantastic and the paella as always!
One of the best meals we had in the area. Glad we booked in advance.
The restaurant was careful and respectful regarding distancing customers and only allowing a certain number of folks on the patio. Our waitress was excellent and the food, as always, was great! Thanks for being so careful and making us feel safe, so we could relax and enjoy a great dinner.
We visit Paso Robles every year and this is definitely our favorite place for dinner. We were there on Sunday night and the food and the service were both excellent. There were 4 of us, and we had paella (enough for 2 to share), octopus, beet salad, and squash blossoms. Every dish was great! I highly recommend this place.
Great experience. Great service and awesome food. Empanadas were fantastic and paella? YUM! Just the right amount of heat with the saffron shining through.
Our food came out promptly, and the order was correct, but our server seemed like he was having a bad day. The overall vibe in the restaurant felt pretty mum.
We had the absolute best meal with their scallops app, and grilled octopus app. It was good we ordered another grilled octopus. For dinner, a friend had the duck, my husband had the filet, and my other friend & I shared the meat paella...this was fantabulous! We would definitely go again.
Always a winner, we come here every time we are in Paso Robles and they always deliver an awesome time. Thank you again.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Paso Robles! Always delicious with great service, will keep coming back over and over!
Our server was so nice! She was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations! We basically had a dinner of all specials for the day and was blown away by all of it! I live going to a restaurant, trusting the staff and being impressed. I'd give 6 stars if I could!
Fabulous seafood and paella! And the craft cocktails were incredible!!!
Far too noisy. Too little care for social distancing. Great food and service.
This is our 3rd time at the restaurant. Always dependable. Two of us shared three small plates (Shrimp & Scallop cerviche, Burrata/toast. heirloom tomatoes, and Scallops with mushroom sauce). All fabulous!
La Cosecha is doing a great job - service, food, and cocktails were top notch! Can't wait to go back. Thank you to Carol, Santos and the whole team.
This was our second visit for lunch. The food is great and the service outstanding.
Great food and wonderful service. The bartender was so knowledgeable about the different sparkling wines, rums, etc. He really knew his stuff. Same goes for our waiter, Brian. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. Really enjoyed their specialty, a Brazilian stew. The entire experience was fantastic.
The food was delicious and the service is excellent
We ordered the pizza and the salmon. The salmon was delicious, we found the pizza slightly on the salty side.
As always a fantastic meal and phenomenal wine list. It was our first lunch out after the opening up of our community. The management are taking the safety guidelines seriously keeping all of their patrons safe. A must on the Paso Square. Just make sure you have a reservation.
The food was incredibly good! Service, especially given the recent re-opening was excellent. Our only issue was the background music was quite loud and made our table conversation difficult. The off menu fish stew was absolutely fantastic! We will definitely return.
Outstanding! Great food, staff and ambiance. highly recommended.
Always a good choice for lunch or dinner. Fresh and local. Service is always on point as well
Considering the economy is reopening, they did an awesome job, the food was great! I recommend the ceviche!
Service was great. We really liked the ceviche. The scallops were good but I think under seasoned. Grilled octopus was delicious-very tender and nice flavors. I did care for the Bambas-too fried for my taste but my husband liked them. The jalapeño margarita was delicious!
We had a wonderful dinner experience! The cocktails were wonderful, wine selection was great, and the food was delicious. We had the seafood special (which was delicious), and the ribeye... Wow... It was amazing! Wrapped up with vanilla creme brulee for dessert.
Thank you for a wonderful experience, can't wait to come back to town and eat there again!!
Food was okay, not as well prepared as prior visits. Could be from being rusty with the lock down
The pizzas are great. All seafood we ordered was great.
Fish stew is the best. We will return.
First time had eaten there - It was good and we are definitely going back and bringing our friends
Everything was great! My daughter ordered the mezcal cocktail but it was too Smokey for her. I don’t know if all mezcal is smoky but it might be worth mentioning. It would be a good idea to have a bread plate at each setting for resting utensils between courses. I didn’t want to set my used fork on the table. Can’t wait to come back! The tuna tartare might be my new favorite!
We started with Bombas, totally delicious! Next, the special: braised rib with sweet potato mash, veggies, again FABULOUS! The cocktails were divine and the vanilla creme brûlée’s was outstanding! Can’t wait to come here again!!
After a day of travel and some eine tasting we were looming for lively exciting food and La Cosecha delivered. Loved the sharable small plates, the main entrees were as described and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Good looking and warm feeling room.
This restaurant never disappoints! The food and service are excellent. A must in a city of great food.
The food was really terrific. Great service and very reasonable prices.
Great service and wonderful paella
Living in the bay area, has made us spoiled and we were impressed with everything about this restaurant! The atmosphere had a cool vibe; brick walls, nice bar, good lighting, outside seating (with blankets). Our waiter was great and recommended their signature Old Fashion cocktail to start, it didn't disappoint. We both had the fish specials, salmon and halibut. Both were fantastic, including the potato puree and sautéed vegetables (cooked perfectly). I would eat there again!
Had dinner here during a weekend visit to Paso Robles. Scallop appetizer was outstanding... sweet, sweet sea scallops grilled perfectly with a light mushroom sauce & puréed potatoes( a level above your usual mashed potatoes). Yes, $15 is a bit steep for just 3 scallops, but days later I am still thinking about them. The empanada appetizer was tasty, although the ground meat with taco seasoning filling was nothing groundbreakingly new. Ribeye steak also cooked perfectly with a variety of roasted veggies on the side. Desserts of tres leches cake & cocoanut flan good. Wine list extensive, as behooves a wine country restaurant. Plenty of cocktail choices.
Venue contains a long bar, several 2 person high tables with bar stools, several dining tables & a few seats on the sidewalk outside facing the plaza. Dark at night with candles on the tables, tv & music not obtrusive. Casual crowd, lively but not rowdy when we were there. Late breakfast, lunch also served.
I would go back if in Paso Robles again.
Food was great and I loved the decor. Just may have caught the employees of the restaurant on a bad day. No one was smiling and appeared to be really not want to be there. Either there was a real tragedy with a mutual friend at work, co-worker, or they have a bad boss/owner that makes everyone's life miserable. Not sure I would go back, but the food was really good. I am really hoping I caught them on a bad day and life get's better for them all.
Poor service and quality of food less than satisfactory.
