   Amazing service and food! From the complimentary valet, to the amazing service. Would definitely recommend!

   We I went to celebrate Mother's Day and was truly disappointed. It took over an hour and a half to receive our food, and there were multiple mistakes with our orders. The restaurant charges an automatic 20% tip, which may explain why our plates were not cleared properly and our glasses were not refilled. Overall, I do not recommend this place. Perhaps it was because it was Mother's Day, but they clearly did not prepare and were shorthanded.

   This is my first time coming to this restaurant. We went for Mother’s Day. Just my partner and I. Our reservation was for 6. We got there a few minutes early and were seated at 6:15. we were seated outside. First thing I noticed is they were definitely trying to create space. All of the other tables had outside dining furniture. Our table had inside dining room chairs that were mismatched. Our waiter, Manny could not be bothered with us at all. He actually act like he was annoyed that we were there. At one point I stopped him and ask him what was wrong with him. He said, it’s Mother’s Day. It’s a very busy day. We have over 300 people here. OK? I did didn’t see how this was my problem. He actually wanted to and I said I needed a minute and he just ran off before I could even ask the question about the drinks. I later tried he was walking, but I said he could order our dishes and he said I’m busy. Never checked on us at any point. It was more like us trying to grab him as he zipped by throughout the night. The bread that we received certainly wasn’t substantial enough for 2 people. It was actually embarrassing to see such a small amount of bread, placed in a “bread basket”. The calamari was OK. It was fried well, but lacked seasoning. Our main dishes, fettuccine Bolognese and lobster ravioli. We’re both very good. The drinks were overpriced and subpar. I had a dirty martini for $18 plus an up charge for Gray Goose versus Stoli. And I think they still did Stoli. While we were waiting, we heard a mother and daughter complaining that their wait was also too long. They have been there for an hour and a half and still haven’t received their dishes. Then the family next to us also complained about the service. I wanted to love this place but the service was TERRIBLE. I understand what happens to businesses when you are understaffed. But If you are going to the poor service at the expense of your customers and don’t overbook your business.

   Overpriced for the value -- We've been familiar with the restaurant for years but never dined. A couple friends recently recommended the restaurant stating it was a bit pricey but well worth it. I thought Mom deserved something special. I should note we dined on Mother's Day and it very busy. We don't usually dine on the actually holiday but made an exception. The food was good but not worth the pricing. I've been to other restaurants where the food was better and not so expensive... but I'm glad to have had the experience and know for future. Concierge staff were pleasant and professional. The servers were racing around like crazy while doing their best to keep up and smile. If I were to go again, it wouldn't be on a holiday or weekend. As a note, the restaurant doesn't say "La Collina" on the awning. Parking in front is limited but you on the street (which is a bit of a hill). Make sure your shoes are comfortable for walking up/down the hill. I believe they have valet service but we didn't use it. Thanks.

   The food was excellent! Everyone at our big table enjoyed their food. The service could have been better, we weren’t given bread to start and had to ask a couple of times. For the cost of a side of pasta and a full order of pasta the servings were not generous. Crab bites are a must try, the chicken piccata was amazing and the wine was delicious (but again, smaller pour than most restaurants) overall it was a good experience just wish our server was a little bit more warm abd welcoming. We were a party of 9 with 3 kids, they should have kid cups for drinks and a kids menu given all the families that were there. If we go back I think it would be great for a date night!

   My husband called ahead of time, when my mother and my cousins and I were on our way to the restaurant. He wanted to surprise us by paying for the bill. He called gave all of the information from his card. Talked to our server. The message was never translated to us, disregarded completely. I paid the bill , when my husband called to find out what happened, they said they simply forgot. There is no thoughtfulness here, you can tell in the food and service.

   Besides the service and food being extraordinary the view is outstanding! We have NEVER been disappointed at either lunch OR dinner!
