   Service was incredibly slow despite not being overcrowded. We had to request bread and the one that was brought out was not even warm. We were told it was coming out fresh. They did bring a second order, which was also cold, not even remotely warm. Our reservation was at 715 as well on a Sunday, so definitely past a busy time. We were close to leaving early and just paying for our appetizers. We waited an hour and a half for our food. The waiter/waitress kept saying the kitchen was slow. It was a very disappointing experience and we will not return.

   Food was excellent. Service was just okay. Young inexperienced staff likely contributed to the overall experience.

   This restaurant easily rivals a five-star establishment in NYC. The food was incredible. Faith and her other service partners were warm, efficient, and knowledgeable. There is a reason why this is our family’s favorite restaurant and will continue to be for years to come!

   Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Monmouth County. Anthony is a gem and pits his heart and soul into every meal brought to the table. Old school great cooking and family vibe …. Thank you Anthony once again for a fantastic experience

   Always a fabulous time at La Cipollina. Great food, great staff and service! Anthony has the best staff and the most delicious food. We’ve enjoyed everything!

   We went here on Easter Sunday for dinner as a family and I can’t begin to explain how amazing this place was. The service from the start was impeccable and lasted until the minute we left. Everything we ate was delicious from appetizers to dessert. You have got to get the fresh mozzarella, seriously if you are a true mozzarella eater don’t leave without having some. The riceballs are an absolute must as well for a starter. All of our entrees were so tasty that I felt like I was back in Italy eating again. For dessert you have to have the bananas foster which they make table side. This was our first visit to “the little onion”, La Cipollina and it definitely won’t be our last.

   It was a lovely dinner, the specials were top notch and they didn’t rush us or push us to anything. It was relaxed and felt like a true fine dining experience

    The food was good, we were celebrating our anniversary with a couple of friends. The service was lacking, left much to be desired. One of the servers accidentally spilled wine in one of our couple’s dinner plate and there was no attempt made to even offer a replacement as a courtesy or to waive off the one item. Just felt inattentive service or maybe they were overwhelmed. Will think again before celebrating another event there.
