La Ciccia is a cozy and intimate restaurant located on the edge of Noe Valley. The chef is committed to use the freshest and the most authentic ingredients from Sardinia resulting in pungent, lively, flavorful food. The all Italian wine list, 150 labels selection represent every Region with more than a quarter devote to Sardinia in order to pair the traditional earthy flavors as well seafood influence of Sardinia cuisine.                                         We changed our travel route to make sure we make it back to La Ciccia! Wonderful flavors as we remembered from a couple of years ago. We were so excited to dig into our favorite dishes that we forgot to take pictures. The owner was lovely and brought out the lamb dish because she had forgotten to tell the server that we asked for the next dish. (which was totally not expected but we really appreciated) After the first-time dining here, we made it a goal to visit Sardinia. Hope to continue to dine here when we come to San Francisco for years to come!                                         My dinner partner and I really enjoyed our dining experience there! the Clams Casino appetizer was really good with the bread and both of our entrees were very good. She had the Mentaiko pasta and I had the shrimp and scallops "pink". Our server was Laotian and was very nice pleasant and efficient! I noticed that they had a lot of people coming for take out so that might also be something to consider in the future. They have many different flavors of coffee so next time, I will try their coffee with dessert! Just too much to eat the last time as portions and very generous! The chef came out to say "Hi" and it was a very enjoyable evening! I will definetely be back soon!

                                        I’ve been going to dine at La Ciccia for years. Even with the new owners it has retained its quality. But it needs a facelift! Food, service, wine list, are stellar! Continues to be one of San Francisco’s Top Italian Restaurants!

                                        What a fabulous restaurant - we came here from the East Bay to try Sardinian cuisine, and it was well worth the drive. We’ll return. The food was extremely good and quite unique - several items we’d never tried before. The Sardinian wines were excellent. Our server was attentive and not annoying. It’s a tiny spot and not fancy, not in the center of action in Noe Valley, but still charming and packed on a Sunday night. We’ve recommended to several friends already.
