Asked for a table on the terrace when I made the reservation. Day of, received email, terrace booked for private function. On arrival, given a very small table for 2, squashed between 2 other tables. Too close together! Asked to be seated elsewhere, told no other tables available, so prepared to leave. Exited through the bar area - all empty tables! Went back to the hostess, asked to be seated in this area. After a lengthy discussion, she complied.
My issues: 1. Notification of terrace closure too late. 2. Hostess should have offered a table in another part of the restaurant rather than telling us nothing else available.
Awful experience. Waited for a drinks, waited for food (which was cold when we finally got some), the food was bad, the drinks “unlimited” were bad- and we only got 1??? I would not recommend this place to anyone. We went somewhere else to eat when we left- because we were hungry!
The experience was meh. Party of 5 went for brunch; service was mediocre and the food was subpar. Most of the dishes came out cold. FYI stick to the French toast. The ambiance is great but the food was not good, for the money spent.
Host would not accommodate our seat request though the seat we wanted was open most of the time we were there. Do you have to be a VIP to get the tables outside? We were even staying at the encore for the night!
Service was slow and non attentive.
Seated inside the bar area rather than the restaurant despite asking to be in the restaurant.
Waiter was very nice and efficient but everything felt rushed, from ordering to food delivery. It felt, despite the fact that we were Encore hotel guests, that we were being run out of there to make room for other patrons—which worked because the total dinner time from in the door to exit was about 45 minutes. Food was pretty good, but not spectacular. So, between that and the fast pace not a great experience.
The food was amazing and our server Irving was a gem. We loved the ambiance it was dimly lit and so cute.
One of our Anniversary highlights for sure! Small portions of full but filling.
One of the best kept secrets in Vegas. The food is terrific and wine list is outstanding. Shout out to Caleb, the wine steward, he knows his stuff and his recommendations are always great!
La Cave was a very trendy and fun atmosphere. We had a party of 6 and we did the bottomless drinks. Food was good and came around quite often. There were so many things to try. The best explanation of it all was a buffet being delivered to you. Although a good concept, I didn't feel it was worth the money. As for the bottomless drinks, I would recommend ordering individual if you don't want to wait for refills!
I love this place. The only thing I don't like is their bench seating for groups of 4. The bench seats are not comfortable and they squeeze too many into their available space.
What a spectacular restaurant. The appetizers alone are worth a visit
La Cave never disappoints, nice ambiance, attentive and friendly service and delicious food made for a lovely night out! The small plates are just enough that you can order several and try everything. Bacon-wrapped dates are to die for! My beef filet crostinis were delicious, and my dining companion said her flat iron steak was perfect. Many wine choices and specialty cocktails. Great restaurant that won't break the bank in Las Vegas!
We came here for our anniversary for the first time. The atmosphere was cozy and fun! The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered a flat bread, kale salad and Brussels sprouts. Plenty of food for two of us. Highly recommend and we will be back. Service was okay. . .
Overall the food was delicious with the exception of the crab ravioli which was too lemon based and undercooked. Price was reasonable for atmosphere and amount of food we received. The biggest disappointment was service. Our waiter was very slow to take orders, input orders, and could not answer hardly any questions about the dishes. We had to twice get up and ask someone to help us because we had such long lulls before he would acknowledge our table.
Overall, the experience was good (four stars). Sadly, the waiter appeared overworked and wasn’t able to get our order in until we were seated for about 20 minutes. Then, the wrong check was mistakenly given to us. The ambience was okay, the problem was that they tried to maximize the small real estate of dining room that they had. The result? We were crammed in like sardines. For the price, I had expected better.
Good excellent. Food was delicious! Wine mark up price was really expensive! Service lacked. We were never checked on once we were served. For such a nice place that was a bit disappointing. Also I said it was my moms birthday! Her 70th-and nothing special was brought to the table for her at the end. Very very disappointing. We enjoyed our time because it was a great location to have dinner before Lionel Richie but considering the price, the ambience of La Cave our server unfortunately didn’t empress.
Everything was very nice! The ambiance of the room was my favorite. The outside view of the High Roller is a perfect touch! The was amazing
Beautiful ambiance, attentive staff, wonderful menu selection
Excellent food and ambience!! Great small plates Delicious scallops with polenta and lump crab cake cups!!
Awesome service and everything we tasted, from the short rib tacos, the beets with pistachios and so much more was amazing. Loved it. A bit loud, but we will return.
Amazing service and food! Cannot wait to go back.
Food quality wasn’t the same as it used to be
Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. Love the food, the service and atmosphere. A favorite every time we are in Vegas.
Fabulous food and atmosphere
Great food. Awesome server. Friendly hostess. Nice place. Impeccable decor.
The food is excellent; small plates to share with the table. The flatbreads are pretty large so unless you have more than 4 people I only suggest getting one. The meatballs and flat iron steak were fantastic. My only complaint is slow service and outrageous alcohol prices. Our food came out quickly but we had to wait over 10 minutes to order and our server took a long time bringing us our check when we had been done eating for 15+ minutes. Alcohol is waaaay overpriced. A bottle of Mich Ultra was $9 and a glass of Makers Mark was $20!! There were also maybe 3 GLASSES of wine under $20 ($18, $19) which is absolutely ridiculous but hey it’s Vegas🤷🏼♀️ overall a very delicious meal and awesome vibe.
Es una muy buena opcion.... muy bonito el lugar, es como un Buffet pero con cierta cantidad de platillos, muy buen servicio, muy rica la comida...... Brunch de Sabado
An absolute unique dining experience. Service is outstanding and good variety is excellent
Menu seemed a bit simple for a venue known for small plates. Though everything was fresh, nothing wowed. Biggest concern was to find mushrooms in my food when I specifically said I have a mushroom allergy. Luckily i caught them before eating because they were large.
This may sound contradictory, but is the only way i can describe it: Quiet, almost a bit stuffy feeling although situated by a garden with a nice view.
Our server was accommodating and immediately removed my unfinished plate when I mentioned the mushrooms. Also asked how I felt. He removed the charge, but didn’t offer a replacement dish. He offered dessert Instead, which we declined.
This was such a cute place and I loved the brunch. All the food was delicious. I have it four stars because I literally wrote in the reservation that it was my birthday, and I wanted to sit by the plants on the wall. I wore a banana leaf romper lol anyways they didn’t sit me there and absolutely no one ever said happy birthday or anything. It sucked because my boyfriend couldn’t make it so I was by myself. Bummer.
The food was just okay. Definitely better options available for dinner
We did not get our outdoor seating request
Great food!!! Highly highly recommended
Nice location overlooking garden and pool
One of my favorite places in Vegas for dinner.
Good was quite good, unique Caesar salad. Octopus left something wanting. Overall high quality.
the food is nothing special or unique. it's a step above your neighborhood chili's. restaurant was understaffed in the waiter dept. plenty of great restaurants in las vegas don't waste a meal on this place.
LaCave was always one of my favorites. Not sure if it's lack of professional employees but I'm so sad the food and service was not like it used to be. FYI, I had not been since 2020 before Covid. I hope things improve as you get better employees or train the ones you got. The ambiance is still outstanding. The food was more comparable to Cheese Cake Factory. I am sorry this isn't a good review but honest.
Good food and excellent service
Brunch was great. Food was amazing. Service was a little slow but when several plates hadn’t come around, we were able to get them pretty quickly after stating what we were waiting to try.
