Don't call it a wine bar. At least proprietor Michael Morton, of the famous Morton restaurant family, prefers not to describe his unique La Cave concept in such limited terms. With its tempting small plates menu, stylish surroundings and well rounded beer and spirits selection, La Cave is about more than simply good wine. This cozy Wynn hideaway is a wonderland of coved ceilings, wrought iron, polished woods and glass panels. Chef Bill DeMarco, a protégé of chef Charlie Palmer, crafts a beguiling menu of flatbreads, tapas-like small plates, grilled meats and platters of charcuterie and gourmet cheese - each meant to be a perfect pairing to one of La Cave's many wines. With its sexy and fun vibe, this cave devoted to vino-pleasures comes replete with an outdoor dining terrace overlooking landscaped gardens and pools. Morton sums it up best, "I want people to leave feeling as though they just went to the best dinner party. Great food, great wine, great music, great friends"

Private party facilities
Spacious and softly lit, the main dining room offers seating at sleek wooden tables or cozy booths, accommodating up to 50 guests for a seated event or 75 for a reception. A ten person "share table" allows for intimate wine tastings and special decanting events. With its low slung ceiling, the cave-like Cellar can accommodate 16 guests on one, long bar-height table for a seated event. An arched steel gate features Latin phrases extolling food, wine and the arts, evoking the feeling of an exclusive wine cellar in Tuscany. The Garden Lounge recalls an oversized, stylish living room where guests can unwind with a glass of wine and several savory small plates. This lovely lounge accommodates a maximum of 50 guests for a seated event or 100 for a reception. When an event encompasses all three spaces, guests will truly find a one-of-a-kind destination that invites them to experience the true meaning of 'in vino veritas' in a sophisticated yet relaxed setting.

The bacon wrapped dates were very good and so was the filet on crostini but the crab ravioli was very disappointing and the robust red wine flight was disappointing. Only 2 good out of the four. It was freezing in the garden patio area (even though its inside). Would not return. Too many other great places in Vegas.

Beautiful outdoor seating in the Wynn. This is a wine person’s paradise, many wines by the glass. They have a wine bar up front. It was very noisy when we passed through, but the outdoor restaurant is out of the way. Dishes are small and served when the kitchen is ready. This is more like a tapas menu. The food is nicely prepared and very good.

Bad expérience... Food too spicy, (we no longer felt the taste of food), too much music(noise) and not enough light, a service without pleasure...

A nice spot for dinner, great vibe at the bar and cool ambience. Big variety of tapas, larger portioned than most traditional tapas. Kind of eclectic so careful not to mix and match too many different flavors. Beer was great, cocktails were a little too sweet, looked like a nice selection of wine as well.

Came in or an evening out and ordered the most expensive wine flight. The glasses came with literally 1.5oz of wine in each and tasted as if they has been uncorked and sitting on a shelf for awhile. Paid about $140 just for the wine and it was barely drinkable. Food was so so as well. Most likely will not return.

The atmosphere and ambience were great, service was good but the food was just average in my opinion. We shared 5 items and each one tasted like something I could have made (and I'm not a very good cook!). I would try this again. Maybe just an off night.

I went with my family for brunch on January 1st. We were able to get a table very quick. Personal was very friendly and willing to make you have a good experience. They passed over the different plates to the table. Freshly cooked and in adecuate sizes.
The ambience of the place was calm, no noises, clean.
This is a great place for brunch!

We came here before attending Le Reve, and it worked out great timing-wise. We enjoyed all of our food, but weren't so blown away that it became a must-do every time we head to Vegas. Our server was great and we enjoyed our dinner. The only negative is the big screen TV in the main dining room that doesn't really fit with the ambiance and was a bit distracting.
