Tapas / Small Plates

Don't call it a wine bar. At least proprietor Michael Morton, of the famous Morton restaurant family, prefers not to describe his unique La Cave concept in such limited terms. With its tempting small plates menu, stylish surroundings and well rounded beer and spirits selection, La Cave is about more than simply good wine. This cozy Wynn hideaway is a wonderland of coved ceilings, wrought iron, polished woods and glass panels. Chef Bill DeMarco, a protégé of chef Charlie Palmer, crafts a beguiling menu of flatbreads, tapas-like small plates, grilled meats and platters of charcuterie and gourmet cheese - each meant to be a perfect pairing to one of La Cave's many wines. With its sexy and fun vibe, this cave devoted to vino-pleasures comes replete with an outdoor dining terrace overlooking landscaped gardens and pools. Morton sums it up best, "I want people to leave feeling as though they just went to the best dinner party. Great food, great wine, great music, great friends"

Private party facilities
Spacious and softly lit, the main dining room offers seating at sleek wooden tables or cozy booths, accommodating up to 50 guests for a seated event or 75 for a reception. A ten person "share table" allows for intimate wine tastings and special decanting events. With its low slung ceiling, the cave-like Cellar can accommodate 16 guests on one, long bar-height table for a seated event. An arched steel gate features Latin phrases extolling food, wine and the arts, evoking the feeling of an exclusive wine cellar in Tuscany. The Garden Lounge recalls an oversized, stylish living room where guests can unwind with a glass of wine and several savory small plates. This lovely lounge accommodates a maximum of 50 guests for a seated event or 100 for a reception. When an event encompasses all three spaces, guests will truly find a one-of-a-kind destination that invites them to experience the true meaning of 'in vino veritas' in a sophisticated yet relaxed setting.

Nice ambiance, good service and excellent food. Three shareable plates were perfect for two of us. We weren't stuffed but satisfied. As we went early we had our pick of tables and chose to sit outside overlooking the pool area. Drinks are pricey but to be expected in a restaurant like this in the Wynn.

Atmosphere is spectacular! We sat on the patio overlooking the gardens and pool area. Our waitress was very attentive. Food was just mediocre for us this time. This is the 4th time we've dined here and it just wasn't as good as before.

Great food, service was 100% and cool environment. A little dark to see the menu if your eyesight isn’t good, so use your phone light. Highly recommend!!

This is our favorite lunch spot in Las Vegas. Wonderful small dishes to share and superb wine list.

This was one of our favorite restaurants. We went on Mother’s Day and the experience was not as good as on previous visits. We were there for an hour and a half for brunch, and we were never offered some of the items from the brunch menu. Even after asking for specific items , they were never brought out. They continued to leave dirty plates on our table without removing them. It took a long time between food being brought out and one girl serving food continued to walk past our table offering us anything. The guests outside seemed to be receiving much better service than the guests inside. I’m willing to spend $58 per person for a good experience. Needless to say, we will not be coming back.

Mother’s Day celebration with my daughter! Menu was very interesting and had some tasty dishes. Price was reasonable, but considering it was Mother’s Day, I would have liked a beverage to be included considering the $58/person.

Lovely quiet restaurant, it's a lot bigger than it looks, most of tables are out back. They serve small plates to share which were quite nice. We ordered 6 different plates for three of us and it was plenty. Good drinks and wine. Nice lunch place.

Great small plates. Only complaint is the price of the wine was outrageous. But food excellent and great ambiance

La Cave was an outstanding experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the selection was vast and creative. The atmosphere is social so you'll have some ambient noise and it's cozy so you can't be opposed to close quarters with another party. However, the staff's excellent attention and service along with the fantastic food make this a easy recommendation.

Nice atmosphere if grabbing a drink and appetizer at the bar or one is able to sit outside. Otherwise, it's dark and very noisy, hard to carry on a meaningful conversation without shouting due to acoustics. Food is ok, not exceptional.

La Cave is a terrific restaurant in the Wynn Hotel. Great wine list and delicious dinner items that are more on the heavy appetizer side. You can either sit inside or out on their enclosed patio. Very cool quaint restaurant.

Really beautiful location. We went for tapas before going to a show. Service was great, and the food and wine were incredible! A great selection of wines, we each enjoyed a flight and tried several sharing dishes to go with them. I look forward to going back!

My husband and I stumbled on this gem! The restaurant has a hipper, trendier feel which we enjoyed for a change of pace. The waiters were awesome, and on top of refilling our water, which is important in Vegas! Most importantly, the food was amazing! We ordered 4 dishes since they are tapas style and had plenty to eat! Our 2 favorite dishes were the cheese and charcuterie plate as well as the bacon wrapped dates. My husband and I both got a couple drinks and our bill totaled to $120, which we were very pleased by. I also made a note to the restaurant that we were in Vegas to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and they gave each of us a complimentary glass of champagne. We HIGHLY recommend La Cave!

Nice dinner, had beer, chicken pizza, kale salad, onion soup, all good. Unfortunately I didn't ask beforehand and the outside terrace was closed for a private party. Had hoped to sit out. Parking for $22 even while paying for dining and show, $400, kind of socks, but things are a changing. Maybe they'll reconsider policy for locals.

Had the Sunday Brunch there and we were very happy with the selection of food. It was butler style with various people bringing out tapas style dishes. We never had to wait in between courses and the service was great.

Amazing meal. Each dish and side was delicious. Great, attentive service... but not overbearing. Great flavors with unique flavor combinations. Size of small plates was not too small. Highly recommend... you'll love it!

Very nice restaurant with wonderful food and wine. The wine flights are great for trying some different different wines with dinner. The food is excellent and portions are just perfect for sharing. Our wonderful server, Cara, added an extra item to the plates we ordered so that we would each have two pieces. Best flatbreads. We try to visit La Cave each time we stay at Wynn Las Vegas.

Just wanted something light for dinner and they tout their "small plates" so we decided to try it. The food was good, but I would say the plates were not all that small. Just something to keep in mind when ordering. We sat "outside", but the outside area really only has a few tables that are truly outside. The rest are open to the outside but really are inside. All areas of the restaurant are extremely dark unless you are lucky enough to be at one of the truly outside tables before dark.
