La Cave - Wynn Las Vegas
Third time here. And the last. They’ve changed things. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. My steak was tough, stringy and cold. If the server would have checked, I would have sent it back. But she was never seen again. Too bad...we liked this place.
The food was underwhelming. My Thai flatbread might have been a frozen flatbread because it was bland and uninspired. I had the worst martini I’ve ever had. Definitely would recommend you skip this place.
Great find in Wynn hotel - excellent sharing plates and impressive wine selection
A nice informal place with an unusual light menu. Small portions like "tapas" but very tasty.
Very busy bar and rather noisy.
Not a place conducive for intimate conversations.
Service was very attentive and professional.
I would go back.
We was with the family before the evening show.
I cannot say anything else that everything was perfect. Amazing food and service.
Trendy. "Comfortable" seating made it hard for anyone over 30 to be comfy. Hard to eat in a lounge chair. So very, very loud; had a very hard time hearing conversation. Most of the food was tasty, but didn't have a wow factor.
Delicious and highly recommend. A must for anyone staying at The Wynn.
Portions are small
Celebrated a birthday with lunch for three. Shared small plates and a flat bread. the chicken flat bread was delicious. The short rib tacos were excellent. It is amazing that they can get that much meat into those small tortillas! When an order usually only comes with two servings they upped it to three. And a special dessert for the birthday girl. Thanks La Cave, job well done.
The flavors are amazing and this is a great opportunity to taste many delicious wines. Go hungry, splurge on the wine flights and do NOT miss the Smores Flat Bread dessert.
Ordered food and never got it. Terrible service.
I'm not a huge fan of small plates, but this place came recommended so we tried it. I'm glad we did. We ordered probably a dozen different items to share and every single one was delicious. The atmosphere is intimate without being stuffy and the service was great. Highly recommend.
Everything was amazing! Our server was the best, very attentive. The food was amazing. Loved it.
Amazing! The food is top class. Thanks for serving vegan food that is so good! Only suggestion I would give is to put the vegan dishes on the menu. Now we had to ask for the vegan menu. It is not clear why this is so hidden while that food is absolutely amazing!
Terrible service! We actually never got to eat there as they cancelled us last moment! We had reservations months in advance for a party of 10. They called us just a few hours before our dinner to notify us that they have a large party and they won't be able to accommodate us at the table we reserved but we can sit on high chairs instead! So they left us scrambling to find a different place on such a short notice. Highly disrespectful and unprofessional! Will never try this place again!
amazing experience in an amazing casino. It is located within a few steps away from beautiful stores.
Food was delicious and we absolutely loved the vibe!
The service was fantastic. I highly recommend the scallop benedict!
Food, wine and cocktails were fabulous. Service was good, friendly and helpful - just a little slow, had to wave him down for additional cocktails. Small plates to share. Everything we ordered was outstanding. Onion soup, scallops and the meatball were favorites.
Went for brunch - food was good selection. Fav selections for us were lox bagel, eggs, bacon, flatbreads, tater tots and pancakes. So many selections we didn’t try half of them! Drinks were great and a bargain at the Wynn! Very quiet Sunday morning and attentive service. Recommend if looking for bottomless brunch option.
Wonderful service and food
Everything about our experience at La Cave was wonderful. It is a quick bite before going to a show. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine. The service was timely so we could make our show time. And, the food was quite good.
The food and service were both outstanding. La Cave was remodeling their patio area so the atmosphere was not quite as pleasant as it could be, as you could not see the beautiful surroundings outside.
Amazing food for tapas. Great service. Wine was very expensive and very small pours.
The food was impeccable, staff very accommodating and the atmosphere was awesome! I would recommend this place for a great brunch to all of my family and friends.
On one hand, the server was awful. She seemed she did not want to be there. Everytime I would ask her for something she was short, her answers were negative and sounded like I should not have asked in the first place or have known that they did not have the things i asked for. She would barely come around our table to check on us and at least fill up our glasses with water. Thank to god there was a male server who was more customer friendly and responded well to our needs and wants. On the other hand, the dishes are extremely small and the price simply does not justify the amount of food you get. The only thing on the menu that was a little bit more substantial was the flatbread, which tasted good. Overall I do not believe that I will go there again.
Terrific food with many tapas options, cool vibe, and great staff.
Food was absolutely amazing. The beef was cooked to perfection. All flavours were wonderful.
Great food - Very solid wine list - very much like the small plate format
The wine and food are excellent. It is a bit pricey, so definitely recommend it as more of a special occasion type place. The atmosphere and service were amazing.
My wife and I were seated side by side in front of the kitchen-perfect for an intimate date night. The waiter was attentive and we could see our food being prepped and handed immediately to us. Great ambiance for a cozy dinner.
Great food to share and loved that I could watch the hockey game from my tabke👍
Overpriced, small meals. Yes I know this is their thing.. but just not worth it. It doesn't work ... I shouldn't have to order 3 entrees to feel full.
Excellent brunch! We tried almost everything on the menu. Everything was simply delicious. Definitely want to come back next time we're in Vegas.
We used to love going to La Cave. The wine bar was one of the best in Las Vegas with amazing tastes of unique wines. We used to love it there.
Our most recent visit to La Cave was disappointing to say the least. First, their patio is under construction making the room appear very enclosed and drafty. Second, when we arrived we were told they were no longer doing wine flights. Instead, it appeared that everything was either by the bottle or by the glass. Since La Cave is supposed to be a wine bar this was also very disappointing.
Our server was great and he rallied. We told him we were locals and that we had been coming in for years. He was able to convince the manager to allow us to do a flight of any wine on their by the glass menu. If we didn't insist, I wonder if we would have actually received this offer.
Next, we ordered the cheese and charcuterie board for $44. The presentation was totally lackluster. 3 cheeses, 3 meats, some jam and flatbread. That was it! No olives, no nuts, no mustard , no fruit! It was so plain and boring and for $44 was ridiculous. My guess is that the margin on this plate is about 200% or more.
At the end of our meal, we were told that the manager had re-done the wine flights. What had been a menu of amazing and varied flights was now replaced with 5-6 flights and they are nothing special. A French flight, a Spanish flight, a taste of California - BORING! The price point is good at $29 but the wines aren't special or unique.
If you couldn't tell from the post we are wine and food people. La Cave used to be a special place for us. I doubt we will return any time soon.
Excellent small plates and very good service. However, Californian wine extremely expensive! Also, a bit more light when trying to read the menu would have been nice.
One of the best spots for a more casual meal at Wynn.
The best hidden little gem at the Wynn. Their brunch is fantastic, like nothing you’ve experienced.
The tapa sized plates were nice for pre-theater dining. No scallops on the menu was disappointing, so we got the charcuterie plate which was fabulous.
