Wonderful meal and service, but needed more diners to make it a fun time!
Delicious food. Lovely presentation. Attentive service without being hovering. Inside tables nicely spaced as was a stormy night and outdoors was not an option! All 4 of us thought the food and service was better than pre-COVID. And the wine was a good size pour! Looking forward to returning.
Love the new menu! Tried the new Fall/Autumn menu and everytime I go back it gets better. Keep it up...
The food was outstanding. We enjoyed our meal on the patio, which is very safe, and very well heated. I highly recommend this restaurant. I can't wait for the Cantina to reopen so that we can dine and enjoy live music.
Could have been dining in Barcelona ...!
This was our best meal of 2020! Wish the chef was in our hometown! Super friendly staff.
Yum! Excellent food! Both plated beautifully and delicious. Quiet, relaxing patio that was absolutely gorgeous! Bonus lots of heaters. Service was outstanding as well. Highly recommend!
Gorgeous patio and wonderful food. Cada Sena is on my list of favorites in Santa Fe.
La Casa Sena is one of our favorite places. The food is excellent, the service is superb, and the ambiance is wonderful. Dining outdoors is such a great experience, especially right now, with the beautiful fall weather. Their Mediterranean menu, accompanied by a margarita or a fine wine, makes for an enjoyable occasion. We will come back often!
Good food and wine
What an enjoyable time we had. I was thoroughly impressed with the sanitation of the restaurant.
I have no complaints.
Very disappointed with the service. Wine arrived after our first course which we had ordered later. Difficult to get servers attention. Dropped dirty silverware said she would be back to clear but didn’t. Food was good but we missed some our favorite dishes.
I was so disappointed in Casa Sena. I come to Santa Fe once a year and I always look forward to Casa Sena, but they changed. No Southwestern food at all. Used to love their green chili burger and their enchiladas. The menu has Grecian good, Italian food and an assortment of other items that weren’t familiar. No one wants to order something they can’t pronounce or understand what’s in the dish.
I cancelled my other 2 reservations at Casa Sena for this reason.
Near perfect restaurant experience. Ordered three small plates and a bottle of Spanish bubbles. Happy campers
Very "Santa Fe" gorgeous patio setting with tables appropriately placed for social distance. Excellent ambience and felt very "safe" for outdoor dining.
Quite simply it's a beautiful place to eat in Santa Fe. However, they changed their menu over to Greek and Turkish cuisine with a poor to average result. The former menu, and food, which was mostly Southwestern, was much better. Beautiful, but a disappointment.
Beautiful patio, tasty food, and the best sanitation practices in town.
The food was tasty and beautifully presented. Several GF options on the menu. The setting made us forget that we were impacted by the Coronavirus.
Completely new European inspired tapas menu. No Southwest cuisine. Nothing for our kid to eat and no interest in making him a basic pasta, etc. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else.
Lovely experience! To step off the street and into an oasis of beauty and wonderful food.
We will return.
Nice setting as usual. Tables spaced apart. Service was soso. I had to ask for a napkin and utensils after my food arrived which took awhile as the server was busy. I asked for mayonnaise and was first told they don’t have any and then 5 min later it appears. Strange. Food was very good Lamb burger...messy though. Fries excellent.
The outdoor space is beautiful and the staff are clearly taking all precautions to keep us safe!
Three of us attempted to “eat the menu” but must return to complete the
Overall, we had a good experience! The waiter was "off his game" on Thursday night,10/1/20! Maybe "out of his league" too!
The food was outstanding and the ambiance was nice. You cannot go wrong with either indoor or outdoor seating. We can't wait to go back!
One of the best, if not the best, meals we've had in Santa Fe and I've been coming here for years. One doesn't normally associate Mediterranean food with Santa Fe, but our dinner there was outstanding. We booked on a Monday night, and chose La Casa Sena as it was one of the very few restaurants open on a Monday, especially during COVID. I am SO glad we did. I did find it to be a little pricey, which is why I gave the Value only 3 stars, and why I would come back for special occasions, but not regularly. However, I would highly recommend!
The restaurant’s ambiance is perfect for date night. We had a lovely time. The food was extraordinary. We’ll be back for sure.
Perfect meal on a late September evening in The City Different
We’re only dining outdoors these days. The garden was so beautiful and peaceful. Very conscientious staff. Even taking temps!! I had the duck and my husband had the branzino. The food was superb. Can’t say enough good things about our evening. Wish we could return tonight.
Covid has removed the specialness from Casa Sena. Taking temps upon arrival, xeroxed menus, limited menu offerings, and casual table setting. Uninspired. We could have been at any basic restaurant. And no blue corn muffins!
That said, we recognize much of the above is due to Covid restrictions, so we will return. We just hope it will be back to the special SF restaurant we love!
Thanks for asking!

SO delicious. Beautiful restaurant and wonderful ambiance.
Best outdoor dining in Santa Fe! I am never disappointed!
Overall very nice. Service good but not excellent. A little pricey. Food was very good but we miss the mexican food there - menu has changed. Tables were well spaced and they were careful following covid protocol- we felt very comfortable and the outdoor seating was excellent and not too crowded. Will definitely go back.
The hostess was terrible, the waitress was terrible, the food was very good. I had a Caesar salad with ahi tuna, my husband had a Monte Christo sandwich. He ordered the sandwich with a salad as the side, which was in the menu, but was served French fries. When he asked about that, he was told salad is not an option. When he asked the manager she corrected it and brought the salad. The waitress didn’t know the menu.
This past weekend we wanted to take a friend and her husband out for a nice dinner to thank them for all the hard work they put in to make our small wedding a success the night before. But by the end of our meal I was very disappointed and frankly a little embarrassed to have brought my guests here. The food was great, but the service was terrible.
The menu has its protein names in other languages – which would be fine had the waitress been able to explain that. When asked what Canard was, she had to go to the kitchen before coming back to tell us. She also could not tell us what Gambas nor Mejillones were. I used google translate and then told her what they were. I asked what the vegetarian dish of the day was – she also did not know but took orders from others at the table anyway and then sent over another waiter to tell me what the veg dish was after the fact.
At one point she took the opportunity to tell us how stressful of a day it had been and how people kept calling in sick to work, among other details that felt more deserved for friends or coworkers than dining guests.
In between doing her job, our waitress would go chat with a man at a table nearby and walk around with a baby we assumed was hers. She kept checking on them and chatting while taking bites of food.
When our food was delivered - everyone was given the wrong plate of food, so we had to switch hot plates around the table. And as we left the restaurant, she was just hanging out at the bar like she was off work.
We were there a little over 1.5 hours just for two starters and our entrees. One couple who showed up after us ended up walking out before even placing an order.
I will say the other waiter who stopped was lovely, so maybe we were just unlucky. And the food was phenomenal so no qualms about the kitchen. But a pricy (for us) dinner celebrating a special occasion is just as much about the service as it is the food.
Wonderful experience and celebration for our wedding
Nice evening in a very nice outdoor dining space. Menu was limited; however, the meat selection was good.
My daughter was in town. Beautiful evening. Delicious trout!! Great cocktails.
I'm fairly certain I've been to this restaurant for decades. Love it. The best meal I've had in months. The gazpacho was great, the Monte Cristo, perfection.
The new Mediterranean menu is amazing. Everything was good, except that my lamb ribs were a bit gristly. Ambiance, as always is the best patio in town. I'm a Santa Fe resident and this is one of my favorite places to take clients for dinner.
