Another great dinner. Dessert was out of this world 😋
Their wine list was not up to date. It was way too hot. The food was good but for what we paid (100$ per person) was nothing extraordinary. I had also indicated on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and that went unnoticed until I reminded them. Not the top of their game.
Facile has an excellent grasp of the food, wine, deserts and cordials. And she provided excellent service.
Enjoyed the menu. Fish tacos were great! We will be back.
This was our first time visiting Casa De Sena when visiting Santa Fe. It was recommended by a friend. We ate at Geronimo’s Saturday night and Casa de Sena Sunday night. While I thought nothing could top Geronimo’s, I was wrong. The food at Casa de Sena was amazing. I had the trout with risotto cake, and it was fantastic. My husband had the Osso Buck, and he was impressed too. We will definitely be heading back to this restaurant when we are next in Santa Fe.
Definitely go to the Cantina for some great entertainment!
great service, tasty well-prepared food! Cod tacos - very crispy and not at all greasy. Delicious.
Excellent atmosphere, fantastic wine menu, and great food! We came here during restaurant week for a get together. The pre-fixe menu was great, though I wish they'd had at least one vegetarian option. Otherwise a very lovely place!
We love Casa Sena and La Cantina. The evening this week was in La Cantina listening to the fabulous singing done by the staff. It's so enjoyable! Highly recommend a great evening if you love music, great food and service.
Restaurant Week special was superb. Everything about our experience was wonderful
they did a great job for restaurant and would highly recommend for dinner and wine!
A great find in Santa Fe
La Cantina is the sister restaurant of La Casa Sena and next door. The wait staff sang incredible Broadway show tunes from Rent and Phantom. A very special atmosphere. Thanks for a great night!
Food wasn’t up to par. Sea bass was cold and enchiladas were just ok.
Was so nice. Food was amazing. Wine pairing was spot on.
Sunday early afternoon before Santa fe Symphony. Intimate service. Varied menu including surprising number of seafood choices. Prompt service but not rushed. Great food. Grand old building and courtyard. Thanks. Off to the concert on a sunwashed afternoon. Pura vida.
This is our very favorite restaurant in SANTA Fe & we always eat there when in town. When it’s warm outside the patio is perfect. On chilly days being next to the fireplace is perfect. Unfortunately the fire was not lit on the blustery winter night we were there but the lovely martini we had was warming. My husband had elk for the first time & loved it. I had the delicious stuffed eggplant. A wonderful meal to celebrate my husband’s birthday.
The mussels were the best I’ve ever eaten!!!!
Wow! Caperberries are my new favorite!
Food was innovative and outstanding, service top notch...great experience.
From the minute we walked we felt welcomed. The food was delicious. I had the lamb with roast carrots and Brussel Sprouts that were to die for.
We had a pleasant lunch, good margaritas, and good food.
The service was fast and the staff friendly.
Prices a bit high.
La Casa is one of the best in Santa Fe over many years.
Upscale menu, service, and wine list.
This year I can dine in Santa Fe enough to join their wine club, which is a good value. And their wine store is very nice.
Remains a good experience over the years.
The food, service & atmosphere were excellent. We all enjoyed the meal. It's been consistent this way for many years.
My wife had the enchiladas, they were too heavy with the cheese. The rice, beans, and soup were completely tasteless. The trout was OK, nothing special. Probably won't come back.
Went for Saturday brunch. Service was excellent as was the food. Always enjoy this place and have eaten there many many times!
Service was slow, some food over cooked to point of inedible, seemed short staffed. Lamb had a lot of untied fat. Took 45 min for main course.
The service was excellent -- good care without feeling invaded. The ambiance of the restaurant is excellent. Quiet, there may have been music, but not loud and overpowering. The food was excellent. We stayed and talked together long after we finished lunch. Wonderful place!
We were a bit disappointed in the slowness and in attentiveness of the service. Other than that, all was good. We live in Placitas, so come once in a while.
Amazing service from Facile, she was funny and kept our glasses full. The chef spilt the portions perfectly and no problems. Highly recommend
Service was slow
Hostess refused to reseat our table in main dining area after we requested a seat that was not directly beside the kitchen entrance. 3 guests stared directly into kitchen when doors opened. All guests had waiters and noise from kitchen. Had reservations for 6 for a 40th birthday. Hostess rude. Unwilling to push 2 tables together even though room basically empty. Waiter very attentive food good but festive atmosphere dead in big side room.
We had early (5:30) Reservations on New Year’s Eve. Wait staff and ambience were excellent. Caesar salads were yummy as were both of our desserts. However the New York Strip steak entree was very disappointing, bland and very fatty.
Great dining experience—god service, good wine, good food. Overall an excellent experience.
We did not start well with the wobbly table and our entrees being served before we finished our appetizers, however the entrees were excellent, the dessert was fantastic, and the service very friendly and attentive. Very pleased.
So satisfying we’re going back for New Year’s Dinner. Highly recommended - even in the crowded foodie scene in Santa Fe.
The food, selections, and our service were all wonderful.
We were there for brunch.
Nice ambiance. Good service. Food is fine - probably overpriced for the value.
As always, this is one of the most outstanding restaurants in Santa Fe.
We enjoyed our evening and will go again for a special occasion.
