The courtyard is lovely-many trees and shrubs, noise of a fountain enough shade but room for the sun to bring warmth. The menu before 2 pm offers a wide selection. Service is good and if you need something when your server is not around, others will help.

We have dined here before and this visit was as good as always.The food is amazing and you can’t beat the beautiful ambience.The lighting and landscape is gorgeous.We love the Lamb and Elk dishes.Paul waited on us and was very attentive. Nancy Banks❤️

the meal was excellent as always! My only minor complaint was the music was too loud so as to make conversion difficult. That said,when we requested that it be lowered,it was. Thank you for another memorable evening!

We have been going to Casa Sena for 40+ years…like any restaurant, it has gone through many chapters. This current chapter was one we highly recommended. The elk and ratatouille dishes were suberb.

Terrific atmosphere with tree canopy courtyard and premium food. However, our service was well below expectations. Because there was a conference in town, several large groups were at the restaurant and thus they garnered greater attention from those tables. Additionally, many of these convention attendees were extremely loud, disruptive and exhibited some poor manners. I think the restaurant could have done a better job of seating the convention attendees so they were not in such large grouped tables (i.e. 12 +).

The food was delicious. It was well prepared and beautifully presented. On the down side, my wine glass looked dirty, and we waited an inordinately long time between when our appetizer plates were taken and when we were served our entrees. We saw other diners be seated, order and be served between the time our appetizer plates were taken and when we got our entrees, and we ordered the appetizers and entrees at the same time. This was a very mixed experience. We would recommend La Casa Sena to a friend, but with a word of caution to speak up if the food is not delivered in a timely manner.

Could have been the night, and they seemed under staffed but no way should we be getting our own water, and water for tables next to us, getting our own drinks from the bar after ordering from the waiter or sitting next to another table where the staff inexplicably dropped dirty dishes.

Disappointing this time around. Fortunately we sat outside so the perfect weather was a treat since the weather at home is still scorching hot. The service and food was not up to par. I was looking forward to dining there again since the last time I was there in December 22 it was great. The maitre d/ manager did address my concerns when I got up to let him know we had several issues (politely). He brought us an after dinner drink ( complimentary) and comped the dessert. There are too many great restaurants in Santa Fe to run back there on our next trip.

Our server was pleasant, but inattentive. Food was very slow to show up while others who were seated well after us were finishing. table was wobbly and required two attempts at repair, never completely accomplished. Food was very good.

Great food (we both had gyros), and our server was attentive without hovering — perfect. Apparently, their hours had changed between our making our reservation and our arriving. Our OpenTable reservation was accepted for 11am, but their opening time changed to 11:30am without notifying us. When we arrived at 11:05, the hostess was abrupt and surly. We sat ourselves at a courtyard table to wait for 11:30. A server came out, asked about our reservation, apologized for the confusion and offered to bring us water while we waited. As we ate, we amused ourselves by watching the hostess — she was just as surly and dismissive to all the parties arriving after us.

We went to Club Legato and had an excellent experience. The musicians were very good! I really appreciated the variety of styles they played and you could tell their attention to detail was at a very high level. The food was good the the service was excellent!

I dined alone on a Saturday night. I was given a table off in a corner of the courtyard, which was ok, but then it took about 15 minutes for a server to get to my table. I’m not sure if this was because I was dining alone or because they were overloaded. The food was just ok for the price. Lots of effort went into the presentation of the dishes but the taste wasn’t fantastic.

We dined on the patio in a beautiful pergola. The service was very good as was the meal. My sea bass was cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive but also ranges in price so it was easy to make a good choice.

We had lunch today at Casa Sena and ordered a Green Chili Cheeseburger and a Nicoise salad to share, Fortunately the quality of the food and portion sizes were up to par with the large price tag. I noticed that the restaurant adds a split charge of $8 for EACH item. I find this outrageous. Had I not opted out of splitting the dishes myself, our bill would have come out to $68 before tax, tip and drinks. Crazy.

Fantastic courtyard setting, beautiful food presentation, and great staff. Even though they were crazy busy, Luis the assistant server was super attentive and thoughtful throughout our wonderful meal.
