Chef and Owner Giuseppe Martuscelli's roots and knowledge of fine foods and wines originated in the town of Santa Maria Di Castellabate near Salerno, Italy. Giuseppe came to America with the Italian Navy in 1967 and returned to stay in 1973, settling in Newark, Delaware to open La Casa Pasta in 1978.
Since then, he has made it his goal to serve only the most authentic Northern and Southern Italian foods. Each year, he travels back to his homeland and beyond to learn new recipes and import ingredients not to be found in the states.

It was my husband's birthday and I wanted to take him to a place that we eat have not been. It was very delightful the Ambiance was great the service was good and the food was very good. He enjoyed himself which made my day.
As always excellent food and excellent service! See you soon!
Great environment for some authentic Italian food. The food was delicious and couldn't have been better.
The kitchen was able to accommodate several people in our group with special requests on menu entrees. Everyone was pleased.
Great atmosphere, amazing service and food. The tables were a good distance apart.
Excellent food. Good for groups. Great service. Excellent food.
Only my 2nd time dining out since March, and I was absolutely thrilled at the cleanliness and safety precautions during our meal. I'm super paranoid and have been following all CDC precautions, and it was so nice to get out, have a glass of wine and a FABULOUS meal, and feel normal for an hour or so. Normal and safe. This can be done, and La Casa Pasta is doing it right ✅
Always a great experience over the last 20+yrs!
It was a special night to enjoy a great Italian meal on the anniversary of being in Venice, Italy a year ago!!
As usual everything was excellent. Food was awesome!!
Perfect setting for a birthday dinner. Ty
Food lacked taste, appeared heated up and not fresh.
Could barely read the drink menu, it was photo copied.
Espresso martini tasted like chocolate milk.
Hostess when we arrived told us "I hope you didn't get dressed up just to come here" which I found unprofessional and negative toward the restaurant.
Overall, not worth a 2nd visit or recommendation to a friend.
First time back since Covid. Very compliant atmosphere. Felt very comfortable
Server, service and food were great. Can’t wait to get back again
Got my favorite - Veal chop and it melted in my mouth. So tender and tasty
I honestly can’t say enough about our dining experience here, from greeting to exiting it was a memory to cherish. The service and food were exquisite, thank you to the staff at La Casa Pasta for making my husbands 67th birthday one he will cherish 🍷Salude❤️
Birthday dinner for my wife, party of 8. food and service was excellent.
Food was amazing ! Everything was so fresh and delicious !
we enjoy going to LaCasa Pasta...however the waiter did not know what the Soup d jour was that night. The host was very nice.
mentioned it was an anniversary celebration and nevertheless put at a poorly placed table near entrance when most of restaurant was empty
Everything was Great, we will be coming back again, again, thank you
We have been to this restaurant several times over the last few years, the food has always been good, but many of the servers and service itself was poor. That changed when we had DeDe on Sunday. She was lovely, happy, courteous, helpful and took care of us all throughout the evening. We are happy we chose Casa Pasta for my birthday dinner.
We have generally had great experiences here over recent years. The pasta did not seem quite up to standards this time....but the service, soup and bread were great.
Our food was absolutely amazing! We had a 45 minute drive to get there and will make the drive anytime we want Italian! I had crab ravioli that was out of this world. My husband had fusilli santa maria....spectacular!
We can't wait to go back!
Portions are smaller then other Italian places and the crab raviolis tasted like butter. Dinners didn't come with a side salad then was charged $14 for 2 side salads. The service was excellent along with the homemade bread and atmosphere.
Our waitress was very polite.
We have been going to La Casa Pasta for many years.
We always have an enjoyable experience.
Alex and all the servers are friendly and attentive.
Amamzing!! Hands down my server was awesome! My mother and I are definitely coming back!
My husband and I love this restaurant. It is our new favorite since we moved to the area. Every dish is always prepared to perfection and the service is excellent. We have taken friends to La Casa Pasta because we know the quality is unsurpassed. My only suggestion for improvement would be the lighting. Since many of your patrons appear to be in the 40 plus range, the lighting is rather dim to read the menus. If possible, could you please raise the lights just a bit?
So glad to be able to dine safely at one of our favorite restaurants!
Food is excellent
Always great food and impeccable service. Our server, Jamie was the best.
Un lograr acogedor, dinámico y la comida muy deliciosa
Went here for dinner on Friday night. Service was great. Had to wait about 10 to get the check but overall very content with the service. Food was very good and prepared well even had a little extra to take home. The only drawback is the atmosphere/ambience. The place is a bit dated and needs an overhaul. Sat in the center of the restaurant which is not well lit and fairly dark. Prices may be a bit on the high side for the atmosphere that you are getting. But the food was prepared nicely and service was great. Would like to see the decor updated. Overall not a bad place to go for a upscale casual dinner.
La Casa Pasta was great! Food and service were wonderful as always and they went the extra mile to recognize our anniversary.
Great to be back after several months. The experience is always great here.
La Casa Pasta is one of our favorite restaurants. We started with calamari which was fried perfectly. I had the eggplant parmigiana and my husband had the lasagna. Both were delicious. We ended the meal with the sorbet sampler, which we both said “Oh Wow”, and We also took home some tiramisu, which is the best we’ve ever tasted. The service was phenomenal. Andriana was our server, she was friendly, attentive but not too much, and liked her job. We highly recommended La Casa Pasta.
I would most definitely recommend to come here! The food was amazing and the service was just as good if not better! 10/10 in my book for sure.
Always good! Really liked the sausage and peppers sandwich! I am just a fan!
Fabulous, as always!
Always a great meal, friendly and considerate staff. Will keep coming back! Thank you.
Server was great, very personable and upbeat. The meal I ordered tasted incredible, it didn’t stand a chance - so good! And hearing Frank Sinatra in the background was a nice bonus.
